Excellent Brazilian food. I was so happy to bite into this Coxinha filled with shredded chicken and Catupiry - good size and very well seasoned. It took me right back to my high school days. Their Pastels are also perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and so generously filled. I ordered the Palmito /Hearts of Palm - Forgive me as I devoured it before I thought of taking a picture :) It was that good! If you have never been to Cantinho Brasileiro, know that they operate next to the butcher counter inside El Caraguey market. I placed my order and they prepared it while I shopped for Brazilian snacks in the market. I will definitely come back!

Service is excellent, and is always packed with natives! That's how you know it's an authentic place. Humble ambience full of cultural flair. I absolutely loved their food! Serviço top, e o lugar sempre tem muitos nativos!! É assim q a gente sabe q é um restaurante autêntico Brasileiro. Humilde ambiente cheio de cultura. Amei a comida!

Extremely hard to find. It's just a window inside the Brazilian market. I had to ask every business around where it was until someone told me it's inside the market. Once inside, I had to ask the cashier as it's just a door with a window that they pass the food through. No place to sit inside and just one table in the parking lot. Now the worst part: prices have skyrocketed. We went for lunch and for two, it's $30.00 for a couple of mains. And that's with no seating, no pleasant atmosphere, nothing. I've attached the latest menus as of November 2021.

The food was delicious, I did like it But I thought it was kinda small for the price, and the customer service was so so. But I might or might not go back

WOW. Hidden gem alert! I love the cute international mini marts scattered around Culver City, and El Camaguey's hidden Brazilian restaurant: Cantinho Brazileiro is incredible. Wasn't starving, so I decided on one Kibbe (Arab influence in Brazil!?!?) and one Coxinha (teardrop chicken croquette), for a very affordable $5.48 w/ tax. Quick Tips: -Very limited parking outside El Camaguey's market. Neighborhood parking recommended. -I noticed only one 2top inside. THIS RESTAURANT IS ESSENTIALLY JUST TAKE-OUT. -Coxinha (co-sheen-ya) can either be made with chicken and catupiry (Brazilian cream cheese) or with ONLY chicken. -El Camaguey is a (mostly Brazilian) Latin produce and meat market. Tight inside like many international markets. Prices listed everywhere. Taste: Coxinha 5/5 I got my adorable teardrop street snack only with chicken and it was suprisingly very creamy inside. The garlicky shredded chicken was probably encased in yam (slightly sweet), and had the perfect texture. Kibbe 5/5 Brazilian kibbe (bulgar meat pie) is much more spice forward than the coxinha. Lots of onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Although deep-fried, the beef inside is very lean. I suppose my only gripe is that there isn't a sauce to dip it in, but it honestly doesn't need it. Price 5/5 Both are only $2.50 each, and main entrees are all below $10. SO AFFORDABLE. Service 5/5 There is a slight, slight language barrier (I have no idea how to speak Portuguese), but otherwise, the food came out very promptly (about 5-10 min). FRESH. I was very pleased. I'll come back with an empty stomach.

It is located inside an international market called El Camaguey and it is best to call ahead with your order. If not be prepared to wait at least 20 min and this is only if they are not busy. Please ask for current cost of items because of recent changes in economy. Food is pretty good. As I gave it 4'/5.

Tucked inside the Camaguey Meat Market on Venice Blvd in Culver CIty you'll find this little spot. I found it by chance one day when I stopped by the market to buy some plantains. I ended up ordering a Coxinha de Frango and the Frango a Parmegiana. The Coxinha was a good size and the Frango a Parmegiana came with white rice, choice of black or brown beans, and choice of french fries, potato salad, or salad for $8. I had the black beans and potato salad. The portion size is plentiful. Usually something like that would be much more expensive. Can't remember the price of the Frango, but it wasn't a lot. The food was fantastic. The Coxinha delicious. It takes a while for them to prepare it, so if you're in a hurry you may get ansy, but it's well worth the wait. Delicious homemade food for a very economical price. Definitely returning. They open Monday - Saturday until 5pm. Food is take out.

It was also annoying for the waitress (not the gal that served us btw - a host perhaps) to give the vibe like they were doing us a favor by applying the $50 Birthday promo that THEY send via email (note, I verbally this flagged when we arrived just in case - but they didn't initially have it on our bill). My head is thinking "calm down--we ate minimally and got drinks. Don't offer it if you're going to have an attitude about adjusting the bill". It was just weird. They also didn't offer any bday dessert treat but we weren't super pressed bc we were so full. The meat was a bit overdone and all kind of tasted the same this visit. Didn't get to try the lamb chops and a few other meats, but still has a nice variety. Salad bar is top notch and consistent, although wish their black beans were plain due to all the meat. Drinks were ok--heavy pours but lower quality wine. The $29 "Wine Experience" package was worth it for my husband who likes variety of wines with his dinner depending on what he's eating. I'm sure I'll come again but it's been bumped a few notches on my Go To list.

I would take the very first exit I saw and enjoy a nice meal. As fate would have it, that random exit led me to Café Brasil, a place that had been on my list for quite some time. After parking in what looked like a motel parking lot, I found the entrance to the restaurant. The decor was phenomenal, the vibes were beautiful, and from the moment I walked in, I felt at home. While asking a few questions and trying to decide what to order, I met Miss Fatima herself the legendary owner who has made Café Brasil a staple in Los Angeles for the last three decades. I ordered the feijoada and the pão de queijo. Fatima herself tried teaching me how to pronounce them, and somehow our conversation drifted to flight schools in the U.S. and Canada. We walked around and looked at different restaurants. When we found Pampas we noticed that you grab a tray and walk around and self serve the different food items that were offered. When you get to the meat section you tell the person working behind the counter what you would like, they cut off the meat, put it on the plate and you move on. They weigh your plate and then you pay. For my meal I tried several different types of meat, a stew, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, and rolls. It was a lot of food and very filling. The meat was definitely the best part of the meal. I chose to get two different types of beef, a serving of stew, and some chicken. Both the beef and the chicken were tender and full of flavor. The stew was delicious. I actually served it over my rice and mixed it together for added texture. The pasta and the rice were al dente and honestly I would have preferred them to be a little more tender than firm. The potatoes were good. They had a slightly salty flavor and were smooth. The rolls were good as they were small, with a semi crispy exterior and a soft interior. Overall Pampas Grill is located in a cool outdoor atmosphere. For sides, I love the heart of palm salad. Beets were simple and fresh. The collard greens were solid as ever. And if you want something sweet, I recommend the plantains. Something new I noticed is they had Diet Dr. Pepper which honestly made my experience even better. What I enjoy about eating at this location is the upstairs seating right around the corner. There's just something oddly exciting about walking up the stairs with a big plate of food. The window seats are a nice place to sit for better ventilation since that area can get pretty warm.
