So my GF (wife) wanted to buy a nice used car. After researching different cars and dealers we came across Empire Auto and the 2011 Jetta. I called Sam (the sales guy) gave me good information about the car. He then told me to have her fill the loan application on their web site so that he can look for financing options. We have always been turned down by other dealers because her credit score being low, borderline horrible. Later that day we went to the dealer and we were greeted by Sam and his brother (forgot his name). We go inside and to our surprise she had been approved by not one bank but two!!! We looked at the car and test drove it. We didn't find anything wrong with it. Was even surprise that it even smelled new!!! I bought a car from Empire. I loved the car 2009 Altima Hybrid. The guys were wonderful in the beginning however, once I was approved and drove off in the car that's when the nightmare began. He promised me it was a good car no problem. I told him I hope this car will not breakdown on me in a couple of weeks, he said no I guarantee that this car will not breakdown. Well, of course the check engine soon light came on in 2 WEEKS. I took the car where he told me too. Quality Brake off Jackson, After going back and forth to that place I was told there was nothing he could do cause he could not see why it was back firing. Now the car is DEAD, yes folks I said DEAD. I just bought it in October 2015 and it is only January 2016 and the car is DEAD. It wont come on. No I did not have a warranty, there should be a law against these type of sales. The law should make them have at least a 90day warranty for every used car that drives off any lot. WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CARS FROM THIS LOT. read more

This review is for the wonderful service we received here. We checked everything on the car in & out and didn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary. We were able to do this without anyone smothering us, but if we did have questions, someone wad close by. The test drive was great, but gas tank was extremely low, we hurried back so we didn't run out if fuel, this was our only worry but made it back just fine. The battery was low and the car had to have a jump start but we were told it could be replaced with a new battery the next day. We went through their financing application and we checked with our bank to compare rates. Our bank had a slightly lower rate and they did try to match or beat the rate, which was great. There was no rush or pushy sales pitches, and they are a pleasure to do business with. Unfortunately we ended up not purchasing the vehicle due to last minute financial worries, so I couldn't tell you how the car is holding up, but overall the whole car buying process and experience was pleasant. We will return in the near future to purchase again. read more

I would not go to this car lot again or recommend it! I went into this dealership yesterday to see about getting a car. My boyfriend let the man know I wanted to buy a car and the man was rude from the start. He asks what kind of car I wanted and I told him something reliable like a Camry, which he had on the lot he told me he wanted $4,000 (the car is $13,000) and I told him I have $1,200 to put down. He went on to tell me he want $4,000 from me for any car I'll look at on his lot. The man said all of this in a 1 minute conversation with out running my credit or anything and I left I didn't get to sit down or look around the lot he wanted $4,000 without knowing my name,credit score, proof of income, etc. I honestly believe he wanted $4,000 assuming I wouldn't pay my note or I had bad credit what he did was against the law and I feel I was discriminated against because I was African-American (due to the expression on his face and his attitude). I am thinking about reporting this dealership they seem shady and he can't throw a price out with running my credit and getting an ok from a bank. I was only there for 1 minute and left STAY AWAY!!!! Did I mention they have a estimate application on their website where you'll put how much money you'll put down and it will estimate how much your note will be. I did that before coming to this dealership but the man act like he didn't know anything about that and went to say he want $4,000 from me. THEY GET 0 STARS FROM ME!!!! read more
