The 11th frame lounge at Empire Bowl is one of my favorite spots in town. The prices are low, and the beer is cold. All of the bartenders give amazing service! Even all of the patrons that go there are super friendly and everyone seems to know eachother so it's got that home away from home feel! read more

The pool hall is very nice and and clean. However the staff (women with short black bob) very rude and very unprofessional. First walking in she's saying the old bartender got fired for being "a stupid f*cking b*itch" who talks about a former employee like that to customers? And the conversation about her whole family to people she doesn't even know very unprofessional. Not the mention her service was very poor, very rude person. Staff was super unprofessional in the bar. Went on Sunday with 10 of us and the woman behind the bar was using profanity to a patron sitting at the bar who was obviously more important to her than us. She was rude and slow. I would lose her and her someone and replace with someone who enjoys their job! As for the staff at the counter, they were helpful and courteous. But due to the rude bartender where we have to get coke for the kids they get a bad rating. Too bad you have to deal with bad customer service when all you are trying to do is a have a good time with family on a weekend. Management is terrible. Got here an hour early for cosmic bowling and was only in the second group of people waiting. They let us stand outside for an hour while other groups came in for the bar. By the time they let us come in an hour later they told us they didnt have room for us and its not their fault even though they made us stand outside while the people that came for the bar just got to come in and get lanes without asking if they waited outside. Went to empire bowl recently and can genuinely say it will be my last time ever stepping foot in that building. Let's start with the bar. My friends and I go in to get a couple drinks before we bowl. My friend and I each order one pint of Coors Light. Together, it was a total of 6 dollars. We paid separately with 20 dollar bills each. Upon getting our change back, both my friend and I were short 3 dollars. When I approached the bartender about my wrong change, she only returned a single dollar bill to me and my friend. THE BEER WAS 3 DOLLARS. I asked again to get the correct amount of Change and I received it only after the third time asking her. This is not complex math. If you can't do addition or subtraction, then do not work as a bartender. Unless, she was trying to steal the money from us with us not noticing. We're not that stupid. Second issue I had was after finishing up my time in the bar room, we went to play some arcade games. We attempted to play 4 games only to have the machines eat up our money and not allow us to play of the games WE PAID FOR! Third issue is when we did finally get to bowl, the man at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful towards us. When we would ask him a question, he would respond in a very snarky tone of voice and roll his eyes. All in all, the bowling was not even fun either. The service was some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Empire Bowl - Bowling Near Me - Redlands, California

This place is clean and nicely decorated but it is too expensive for a group of 4 if you don't go during a special time, which my boyfriend and I found out while bowling with his niece and nephew. We paid 52 dollars for 4 people, that is just ridiculous. If we had showed up a half hour later it would've only been 30. They charge $4.50 per person per game and $4.00 per person for shoe rental. I also wasn't happy that the cashier accidentally charged my card twice. He showed me the voided transaction but the money was still taken from my account and I'm waiting for it to be put back. I'm sure the experience would've been better if we had known about the specials. However, we don't plan on coming back. If you're going to take your family here I advise checking for deals first because they won't openly share them with you. read more

Came here to take my sister bowling here for her 18th birthday! Everyone was friendly! We got to bowl unlimited for 2 hours which i thought was pretty awesome and good for the price. The bar was awesome and the drink selection was great! I would definatley come back here. read more

Got to the alley 2 Hours early to hang out in case he lands got full for cosmic. I asked at the front counter when I got there what time it started and they didn't even bother to tell me it was reservations only and it was FULL! We wasted money in their busted arcade where the games were either out of order, missing pieces like the puck to air hockey, or ate the tokens. After all the waiting they put out a sign saying "reservations only, lanes full" when I asked them what was up with them not saying anything the guy just said "I'm not sure who you talked to and why they didn't say anything, but yeah we are completely full" like it was nothing. I've had my daughter's birthday party here for The last two years (age 4/5). The staff does such a great job, you don't have to lift a finger, the party host takes care of it all. The kids get to bowl for the first hour then are moved to the party room where they have pizza, cake, and open gifts. The staff serves everyone their food and cake (bring your own cake but they let you know that ahead of time) then each child gets their own tokens for the arcade. The staff does a great job so you can mingle with other parents. If adults wish to bowl as well it's a discounted price. My only tips are, tell your friends to arrive on time for optimal bowling time as they bowl first, and the bar is cash only if you wish to have an adult beverage;) overall a great time and I've had several friends book their children's parties there as a result of our experience. read more

This is the worst place I have order food from. I was sitting in the cafe right after I ordered my food. My food took 30 minutes to come out because the two gentlemen behind the counter were distracted by a female friend with dark long hair. Every employee seemed to know her so I think she works there as well. I felt offended by what was said. I didn't know you could have "friends" hangout with you while you are working. Since I worked in the am on New Years Day, I decided to be responsible and not go into work hung over. A bar was out of the question so my gf decided to look up a family friendly establishment. Empire Bowl offered bowling from 10 pm - 1 am with shoe rental, pizza / sandwiches, soda and party favors to ring in the new year all for $30/person. This price was a steal considering Morongo wanted $180 for only four hours of bowling and nothing else! We were able to get our lane, shoes, balls and were bowling within 20 minutes. The food was ok. The grinders were cut into hand sized pieces and the pizza reminded me of the $5 Little Ceasar's ones. They tasted like cheap grease not tasty grease, if that makes sense. Basically the food was good for snacking on, I would recommend eating dinner before heading over and if you decide to eat there fix a plate asap because everything was picked over within an hour. Overall we had a great time and were heading home by 12:30 am. I have only one recommendation for Empire Bowl, hire another bartender for a big night like New Years Eve. Your one bartender was doing her best to keep everyone's cup full but the 15 minute wait kept me from ordering a round of champagne to bring in the new year. read more

I payed ahead for 3 lanes which was my fault but when only 6 people showed up I assumed they'd be understanding and cancel the 3rd lane. We went in family night, what a deal! $20 for 2 hours up to 5 people includes shoe rentals! Amazing! We had so much fun! Don't forget to make a reservation for family night (we didn't know and the worker was nice enough to let us see if there was a cancelation). Luckily we were able to play. Don't judge a book by its cover. It may not look like much on the outside but once you walk through the doors you are greeted by great food from the cafe and a nice and helpful staff. I am a new resident in Redlands and my kids wanted to go bowling yesterday. Having lived in L.A. and going bowling to any where over there, I would assume that the place would have a water fountain for kids or the public. NOTHING. I went to the bar asking for a cup of water for my thirsty 10 year old girl and nope. Buy in a bottle or we don't give you anything. I then headed to the cafeteria and they said, " We charge for the cup . 50 cents". Shame on Empire Bowl. The owners should be embarrassed about this type of low qualify service. Attention parents: Bring your own bottled water or bring your own cup. good luck if you have 3 kids or more. Rude service by the bartender, greedy ownership for charging for cup/foam of water. and cheap customer service for not having a water fountain. What kind of family or place is this? Never coming here again! $5.50 per person per game plus $4 for shoes. It cost my family of 4 nearly $40 to play 1 game of bowling on a Sunday afternoon .. that is just RIDICULOUS! Plus we got kicked out after an hour and 15 mins and told we couldn't add another game even if we wanted to. And the guy was so rude about it! I love this bowling ally.. Yeah it's small and sort of old..but they did remodel it and it looks alot better! You can't beat the prices here. Every night they have specials. Come Tuesday night and it's dollar night. Dollar shoes, games, and admission. You can rent shoes, buy 3 games all for 5 bucks! Hello!!! That is a deal! But this is a great place to come for some bowling fun! I know dollar night gets super busy so come early to wait in line. (Well most nights come early to wait). Empire Bowl appears to be a rundown old school bowling alley from the outside. But inside, the equipment is well-kept. We came here on a Tuesday night, where they have dollar night - games and shoes are all $1. It was a great deal. So we were able to get 4 games in. The balls were old but most were in good shape. Overall, this is a great place to bowl on a Tuesday night. There are other specials on other days but I didn't check those out. read more
