Great choice if you're in the area.... We shared a salad and a few different apps., and LOVED everything we tried!! SO many choices in this area, but this surprisingly authentic taste of Brasil is AMAZING. Reasonable prices, service, and DEFINITELY something for just about everyone...!!! Mmmmmmmm!!!

Came here with friends for a dinner and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food, ambiance and service were all top notch and setting the tone was our server João. He was so helpful with the menu and all around a polished professional. We started with a pitcher of drinks....I am not sure of the name but there was passion fruit and vodka. I believe it was Caipiroska, forgive my ignorance if I didn't get it right...I'm still learning. For appetizers, we had Linguiça com Mandioca (yucca and sausage) Quibe (Fried beef croquette) Porção de Mini Pão de Queijo (Cheese Bread) and Coxinha de Frango (Traditional Fried Chicken Croquette). Everything was great but the sausage and the cheese bread were the standouts for me. For my entree I had Bife Acebolado (Grilled steak, onions, rice and fries). It said it was an 8 oz steak but it felt like a side of beef! It was great. The only regrettable part was that I was so full I didn't even eat any rice. Service was amazing the entire evening. I would love to take friends from out of town here because I think they would be impressed. I sure was! Love this place!

Pulled up on this place for an early dinner before a play in the city. The caipirinha's were slightly sweet, a little tangy with a heavy pour (they were perfect). Food was pretty exceptional. I was a huge fan of the Appetizer 46, the fish croquettes and the Branzino. The Yuca fries were a miss (dry and no season), calamari not pictured ( dull and no tentacles) . Service was fast and attentive. I'll def be back :)

I came here two days now. The first day I had the prex fixe menu item (trout). The second day -- was a lovely steak selection. Carlo helped me both days and is truly the consummate professional and ever-so-knowledgeable. I just loved the vibe. Was in the neighborhood this week -- but I shall be back !!! Bread was also delicious --

Ever since becoming a World Cup fanatic, I needed to find a spot to mourn Brazil's exit from the World Cup, and simultaneously enjoy a delicious dinner with friends. I can say I was able to achieve both successfully here, a space that feels instantly comfortable and teleports you out of such a busy and bustling metropolitan city. Doesn't matter if you sit at the bar or at a table, service is immaculate. Beyond friendly and kind staff here, and the food just magically appears within moments. Doesn't even matter what you order, it will be delicious. The Picanha is easily and divinely shareable between two to three people, and the assortment of the pastries was such a smart decision to dip our toes in. The pao de queijo is cheesy goodness. The drinks were dangerously addictive, I will be coming back for more passion fruit caipirinhas (cachaça) & strawberry batidas.

Went here before a comedy show around the area. Homie family style restaurant. Staff was really nice. Went here to try out Brazilian food other than a steakhouse. Food was good and our server was helpful explaining all the dishes. Fried chicken croquettes with cream cheese was so yummy. Come try if you want to try some Brazilian food.

I was very pleased with the food I had at this restaurant. I had a beef empanada for an appetizer and the grilled steak, onions, rice and beans for an entree. The empanada was larger than I remember them in the past but well filled. The steak with onions was very good and well done as per my request. The service was excellent as was the ambiance. I would eat there again.

I ordered steak and eggs for brunch the other day and based on the pictures, I was sure it would come properly cooked. I asked for a medium rare steak and over hard eggs. Unfortunately my steak was well well done, too tough for me to eat. I think the beans might've had sausage in them (which i dont eat) because of this smokey meaty scent emanating from them. The rice was cooked perfectly. The codfish ball, which my grandma makes and i've been eating all my life, just tasted like a huge fried fishy textured thing. I don't think cod fish balls should be made by anyone other than Portuguese people since I haven't had any that compares to the ones from Portugal but it was a fun surprise to see and taste them from a Brazilian restaurant. I would give this place a second chance only because I adore Brazilian cuisine and maybe the restaurant was busy or the staff was having an off day.

TL; DR: Good, respectful service. Nice layout. Cute table setting. Good eats. Solid drinks. Clean bathroom. The whole picanha: The flavored caipirinhas were all a bit too heavy handed on the flavoring, making them a little too sweet and less liquored. But the traditional popped perfectly! The serving size was a bit on the small side, though. The Brazilian Variety of Savory Pastries (6 pc.) made for a perfect start. We both liked all three equally. My friend was about the Bife Acebolado (8 oz. - Grilled steak, onions, rice and fries). Read: we always share everything. This time? I was not offered a bite. I am still thinking about the Branzino com Camarão (Sautéed Branzino with Shrimp, butternut squash and coconut milk sauce). The sauce is delicate yet flavorful. The Branzino filleted and cooked perfectly (the flake!). The shrimp were tender. Oddly (but welcomed) the butternut squash was actually the standout bite of the dish. It was all great. But this - which never happens - happened: Me: You wanna try? Friend: *nods* Me: *offers full chunk* Friend: *shakes head* Me: *cuts small piece* Friend: *eats small piece. Stops. Head tilts and eyes pop* Me: *points to the remainder of the chunk* Friend: *vigorously nods before stabbing and devouring remainder of the chunk* I do not know what they did to that there squash, but I would eat it and that sauce over some rice any day. Collards were standard but good with nice bite to them. The julienne vegetables were exceptional! And sizeable portions, each. You could absolutely make a meal out of either side paired with rice and beans, making EB a place to keep on your radar if you need a spot to please both carnivores and veggies. The rice was cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the beans, as I found them to be under seasoned. But they give you the Brazilian hot sauce as soon as the food comes out. So it was easy to doctor them up. Last but never least, the price was right! I will most definitely be back and undoubtedly recommend considering them for a lovely meal experience.

Emporium Brasil is a solid restaurant.  I haven't eaten there since right before the pandemic and decided to order delivery last night since I had to work late. I ordered my usual grilled steak with onions, which was cooked, medium rare, to perfection as always!  If I had dined there instead of having allowed the steak to cook longer from the residual heat while en route to me, then it would have looked a little rarer than it does in the close-up pic.  I love the chips...they arent crispy like the snack, but thick and soft with enough give for a satisfying bite.  There were enough so that some soaked up the juices from the steak and grilled onions, yet also more than enough that remained dry.  The steak was nicely seasoned with salt and pepper and the grilled onions added some nice flavor.  It comes with black beans along with a side of vinaigrette comprised of some diced tomatos and onions, which adds nice contrast and which I ate with the chips.  I also ordered their mashed potatoes, in which I indulged like I just got out of prison.  This place has not missed a beat and I'm looking forward to dining there, inside next time, soon!

Went here this past weekend and absolutely loved it! Immediately greeted by super friendly staff and great service. The place has a great atmosphere and design. Food was absolutely amazing as well! Very high quality and well worth it. Overall a very authentic feel on top of all this. I will definitely be going back.

Just another dinner out. Didn't really knock my socks off. Service good. Waiter tried real hard. Never did get his name, but always willing to accommodate. Decor was subtle, not overpowering and calm, but nothing extraordinary. Food. Cesar Salad. Didn't jump out of the bowl. Few shreds of lettuce and cheese with Cesar dressing. Lacked punch. Seafood stew: 4 shrimp, 4 mussels, 4 clams and a whole lot of calamari with a very bland tomato purée sauce. Flounder was the only redeeming quality. In a light lemon sauce. We'll give it a good and a half. Creme Brûlée, also good and a half. Going back, probably not.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We were not planning on coming but the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed and we found this nearby (I'm a big fan of Brazilian food.) There was plenty of outdoor seating available but we opted to sit inside. The restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was very classy/romantic, very perfect for a date. Our servers were very kind and right away came up to us to offer us water and drinks as well as answer our questions about the menu. For food we ordered the Brazilian pão de queijo portion of 8 which came out within 5 min and were small, cheesy, delicious balls of heavenly bread. They had a nice crust to them and were full of flavorful, warm cheese on the inside. We also ordered the regular table bread which came toasted and with butter. For the main dishes my boyfriend ordered the picanha which I sadly did not take a picture of, but it was a very generously sized piece of steak and it was delicious! It came with rice and black beans on the side as well as farofa (toasted cassava flour) which we added to the black beans! It also came with crispy chip style fries that were perfectly cooked and not soggy at all! I ordered the Branzino com Camarão which was a branzino fillet with shrimp on a coconut milk sauce with some butternut squash and crispy spinach. This dish was soo delicious. The fish was tender and melted in my mouth like butter. The shrimp was also well seasoned (although I wish the dish had come with a few more since there were only 4 small shrimp on my plate). The butternut squash was a fantastic compliment to the dish since it absorbed the sauce well and was full of flavor! The portion was very generous as well! Sadly we were too full to try dessert but next time we will make sure to save room. This was a fantastic restaurant! I will be coming back when I crave Brazilian food.

The seating was comfortable, making it an easy place to sit and enjoy the meal. I ordered the pernil, and the skin was, dare I say, perfect... crispy, flavorful, exactly what you want. Unfortunately, the meat itself was pretty lean and ended up a bit dry. The maduros were a bigger letdown; when I had them before, they were ripe and sweet, but this time they came out dry as hell. I sent them back, and to their credit, they took them off the bill without any issue. My friend enjoyed his Cuban panini, and while the pork chicharrón had a few off pieces, it was decent overall. So overall, I'd say this place can be really good, but there's definitely a consistency issue. When they get it right, it's excellent; it just doesn't seem to be that way every time.

I really enjoyed the Mofongo, which was served with pernil, sausage, and cheese. The Mofongo was cooked perfectly, while the meat was succulent and well seasoned. All the ingredients combined together to make for delicious bites. The Steak was made with onion, and came with a nice, fresh, crunchy salad, along with choice of side. We went for the Maduros. Steak was delightfully juicy, while Maduros were soft and slightly caramelized. Service was solid. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. If I am in the area, I would return to try the Bacalao Empanada, Fried Pork Chops, Breaded Steak, and Guayaba Dominican Cake.

Everyone agreed with my suggestion to eat Latin American food and we made a reservation at Buena Vista, not far away from our hotel and also not far from the theater. We came over a bit early, around 5:15 and were immediately seated. We were immediately impressed by the business model. It is a melange of Latin American and Iberian faire with exquisite curation. Their cocktails were absolutely delightful, I had a Pantalones en Fuego, others had an exquisite margarita with passion fruit flavor and a Daiquirí de Fresa, just amazing. Then we ordered interminable Hors d'oeuvres. Their ham croquetas and mushroom croquetas were the rage, as well as the tostoncillos ibéricos and ceviche limeño, The main courses followed, a paella valenciana for two, the magret de pato, a delicious duck dish, and a grilled Argentine parrilla. Not bad for four people. Dessert included churros and tres leches. And of course, a bottle of a great Verdejo. Service was just flawless. We had several staff members all contributing to making our Father's Day evening special. All around us it was festive, with plenty of well dressed Spanish speakers in several tables, and the accents of a half a dozen Spanish speaking countries. Plenty of gringoes too. A beautiful collection of diversity. We left happy, ready to see "Oh Mary" and wanting to return

I had the steak (I prefer my steak more on the well side) and the chef managed to keep it positively tender and juicy. Perched on top of a few slices of fried casava slices and a small side salad. You can never leave without trying the flan it's one of the best I have ever had. Service was quick and food was bought to us piping hot. The only down side is they oddly don't make pina coladas (it's the only thing I drink) and the restaurant was a bit too cold but other than that it was a lovely birthday dinner for my friend. Buena Vista is small and popular so I strongly suggest you make reservations if you plan on eating here.
