Walking distance from Cruise Port of NYC, times square and intrepid museum. You can do walk-in. Has a salad bar with some meats on it and rice. You flip a circle card when you are ready/stop getting meats. Buffet of meats does not include drinks/desserts. And drinks are not bottomless even if it is a soda. Meats are good. Servers are courteous and pleasant. Restrooms are clean and smells good. High chair and koala kare seen. Even tho their south american manager is treats us like we don't have money, compared to other caucasians which was served with hospitality, we dont mind since the other staffs makeup for the hospitality. See images for reference.

This was my first time trying a Brazilian steakhouse rodizio style. The salad bar was packed with options. If you're wondering about seafood, the only seafood option was the fish stew from the salad bar. My favorites from the salad bar were the potato salad and the Brussels sprouts. The complimentary cheese bread (very mochi like) was also very good. As a beginner, I definitely made the mistake of filling myself up too much at the salad bar and should have saved more room for the meat. My favorite cuts were the beef sirloin and the chicken. Some of the other cuts were just okay and a bit tough to chew but still flavorful. Next time, I will definitely prepare better by not filling up so much at the salad bar! Highly recommend, beef sirloin, chicken, and tiramisu!

    Delicious mocktails.

On Friday, 1/30, I had my 2nd Restaurant Week experience with my daughter!! We went to Churrascaria Platforms Steakhouse on 49th St. The service is amazing and the decor is great!! I really enjoyed the gourmet salad bar which had items like risotto, sushi rolls, shrimp cocktail, etc... There are 2 staff members standing nearby to assist if necessary. The meats served were a little bit dry because, at the time, we didn't know we could ask for a "medium rare" slice. I need to go back to chow down on the Restaurant Week Menu, again!!

    Lovely service!

This place was a great stop. My partner is Brazilian so we wanted to make sure he got to try some while we were in the area. We were drawn in by the meat lovers special ($60ish per person) which limited the meats you could get but still enabled access to the salad bar. Meats were great but highlights were picanhia and the skirt steak. Also loved the garlic bread though I wish the garlic bread guy came around more!! Service was quick and I liked the drink cart. Ambiance was fine but decor was a little out dated. At the end of the meal, it took a fair amount of work for us to track down the waiter for our check. Worth a stop but definitely not the best Brazilian steakhouse I've been to.

Bem-vindo ao Brasil. Linguini B is known by many, and many know me as many things. Stud. King Pin. Lover Boy. Elbow Greaser. Wolf Man. Deviant. Fat Freak. Four Eyes... why. Why do you do this to yourself, bury it and never let it back up you chubby biscuit. But anyways... let me make one thing clear. A name I have been sporting honorably and deservedly for many a year is... The Churrasco King. I've ventured to many Rodizios. I've gotten down doing the rodeo with many poles of steak and other heavily salted meats. But my soul, since first encounter, has been enthralled so much by this Plataforma that I find myself returning, as a regular. Luckily, for the Cows of New York City, I don't live near enough to destroy the profits of the vital and vast Manhattan underground farm system. For if you don't know of what I speak you ought reckon yourself a fool of the highest order. That is a decree dished down by your royal family, The King of Churrasco. All I can say is on the corner of 49th and BLANK, if you stay stationary long enough, you will hear a unison moooooo echo from the chambers of the tunnels of New Amsterdam. The vibration of the chorus will feed into the soles of your feet, a rush of hunger will jitter your knees and collapse your hips. Your hands will turn to hooves (in hallucination). On all fours you will crawl yourself to the nearest steakhouse and you will eat your own kind. Served up the rarest of rare. You filthy fat cow. This did not happen to me this day, but if it has before... I'd never tell. August of 25', my most recent Rockefeller rodizio rescue mission. I enjoyed a blessed meal with a group of mates. The goal is often simple, how much steak can I pummel and for how long can I keep my green card green. My compatriots and I Zohanned across 49th, the air felt the thrust of our pelvises as we prepared for conquest. To calm our nerves, we took a sip or two of some Mango Caipirinhas. Muy Bonitaaaa. Little Fresh Mang, this thang came with a big bang. Big boom. Five of them. Shoutout Big Just. But a once in a lifetime tip of the hat to the Rizzla, the owner of the only knuckles I'd ever bow to. Anyways... we sipped our soucceee and soared to the able. The intense buildup was now unbearable. You can train your whole life for this moment, but will you perform when the lights shine bright? Some puddle under the pressure, and others raise their game to levels they knew not accessible within their loins. I, of course, am the ladder. Cabooses hit the chair. Drinks ordered. Couple nods to a waiter and the floor manager. I didn't hear a word. In fact, I went deaf and my pupils widened so far that my eyelids haven't recovered. How is that possible? Don't ask me I'm not a doctor, at least not a licensed doctor. We were in the wild. My eyes darted from spot to spot. My feet, although planted flat, were ready to pounce. My fists engulfed the utensils provided, the knife became part of my hand. Stop the teasing, mid sentence I hopped over a few tables, then In osmotic fashion I oozed my drooling tongue and guzzling cheeks to the salad bar. Some call the salad bar a waste of time, a distraction, a tummy filler. I can it a must, especially here. The soosh, octopus, fried rice, some Brazilian staples. They line your intestines, creating a partition between yourself and life with ulcers. Not a Doctor... or so they say. My table side competition followed suit, jousting each other on the line for the best available appetizers. We sat down together, the energy of the table highhhhh. Some Yukon fries, plantains, mashed potatoes, fries hit the table before we could notice that they were on the way. I left out the star of the show for a reason. It deserves its standout praise. Pao de queijo. For you non-literates anti-portugese crowd... that means gifts from god in the form of cheese puffs. And the best I've ever had are from here. It's been that way for 28 years and I can guarantee it. I could just come here for these bad boys. I'd rip through a parking lot full of them. And then I'd ask for more. While the irons hot let me call to your attention this grilled cheese action. No, not grilled cheese like you filthy Americans mean. I'm talking actual cheese, just grilled, and covered in honey maybe some butter, maybe neither of those but it tastes like it. The small golden brown cubes of some portugese cheese light up the inside of your cheeks to the point that your cheek bones rise and you become visibly more attractive. Or so said someone once on a time. Again, these two darlings could be my entire meal and I'd leave with supreme satisfaction.

Came to this establishment for restaurant week 2025 winter. First time at a Brazilian steak buffet house, and i loved the concept. Buffet bar is for vegetables and salads, sauces and maybe some other protein(fish and chicken), and the table when you flip that circle card they arrive with your choice of temperature meat. Its not just beef, there's pork and a chicken option. I tried the pork sausage which was too salty for me, but loved the chicken as well as the pork they had a parm garlic. I liked the beef choices they had and it pairs well with your vegetable and salad you got from the buffet. Oh and there's a lamb option. I like the chimichurri to dip w all my meats :) And at the end I was able to get the flan which was so yummy I love flan. The servers were mostly all friendly and quick to fill water and take dirty plates. Bathroom is downstairs and clean, big mirrors.

My husband and I attended a company party here. The food and service were superb! The waitstaff were helpful and friendly. The salad bar had a good variety of food. The meat (mine was mostly pork and steaks) was fresh, tender, flavorful. I was able to converse pretty easily with my neighbors so if there was music, it was played low enough. The restaurant was clean, spacious, with nice decor. It overall felt inviting. They had a large selection of desserts. I'm still obsessing over my delicious chocolate mousse cake slice; it was perfection! Overall this restaurant offers something for everyone. My table mate is vegetarian and even he was able to leave the restaurant satisfactorily stuffed. The drinks from the bar were pretty good. My only small regret was that I didn't get to taste their caipirinha drink. I heard many complimentary reviews. I highly recommend this restaurant and would love to return here for another meal.

Amazing tasting food. The atmosphere is also on point. The staff is really professional, attentive, and friendly. It's a really nice experience. The only small downside is the price, but the quality is there!

My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week dinner. This included selection of unlimited meats, sides, buffet offerings, as well as salad bar, for $60. The interior was elegant and spacious with plenty of seating, along with impressive island buffet in the center. Upon being seated, we were served warm cheese bread, which was tasty with a satisfying stickiness. For our sides, we chose Yuca Fries, Fried Bananas, Polenta. I enjoyed the Yuca Fries, which were crispy and full of flavor. Surprisingly, I also liked the Fried Bananas (as not a fan of the fruit), which were light with a nice crunch. There was an extensive salad bar, along with quite a few options at the buffet, including cheese and cured meats, soup, shrimp, chicken, veggies, and more. Out of the various meats, my absolute favorites were Top Sirloin, Leg of Lamb, and Beef ancho with Garlic. These were wonderfully tender, succulent, and well seasoned. Service was solid. Restaurant staff came around often with different meats. We were well taken care of and am glad I got to experience this Brazilian steakhouse.

This is definitely one of my favorites and what a Brazilian steakhouse should be! We called ahead at the last minute and were pleasantly greeted on the phone and told to come on over. We asked about dress code and they told us not to worry. We make a point to come here every time we are in New York City. Upon arrival we were quickly seated and the staff went to work making sure that we were happy and comfortable. The national drink of Brazil is a Caipirinha and it was made to perfection! A beautiful salad bar, I noticed it had been paired back a little bit, but all my favorites were still there, including artichokes, hearts of palm, mozzarella balls and tomato, cheeses, Brazilian beans and rice to name a few. A wonderful meat selection, with everyone of them prepared perfectly! Filet mignon, House, garlic, beef, chicken, sausages, chicken hearts, beef sirloin, lamb, and I can't even remember the rest! The restaurant is very nice, intimate feel, with linen tablecloths and is a fine dining experience. Live music available after 6 PM daily. Happy hour at the bar in the afternoon, where you can get cocktails at discount rates, but no food. While this restaurant can be a little pricey, It is a one price per person meal for as much as you want and we didn't ask, but were offered the senior discount rate! LOL - so don't be shy about asking for this discount if you warrant it! You must come here if you have the opportunity! What more can I say?

Churrascaria Plataforma Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Churrascaria Plataforma

I'm looking for a Brazilian restaurant where I can watch World Cup football matches. Are there TV screens here?

Hi Brian - yes, we will be showing the games and we have a few large screens. Thank you.

I make a reservation at 3:30pm this friday, for Meat Lover Delight Dinner Special $59.95 per person. May I ask what time for dinner? Should I change the time to fit in the dinner time? Since that deal only available during dinnee time.

They are open 12 to 10:30 but doesn't list if lunch and dinner is different (different buffet options). If you could, i would say to move it but i depends on you, when you will your hungriest!

Do you need a reservation for lunch?

Hi Corey- You can just walk in during lunch hours. Please note that we are not open for lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays. Thank you!

Do you only have price fixe menu? Or can you also order regular off a menu?

Hello! Yes, we are a prix-fixe restaurant. There is no regular menu. Please check our prices by clicking in the link bellow. Thank you.…

Do you have a certain dresscode?

Hi Charles! The dress code is casual. Thank you.

So do you usually have leftovers to take home ? Can you take good home from your pre fix menu

Hi Chanel. You may eat as much as you like for as long as you can, but you are not allowed to bring any leftovers home. Thank you.

Hi, is there an all u can eat for lunch at $42 on weekdays?

Hello! The price for lunch is $45 per person. We are open for lunch from Wednesday through Sunday. Thank you.

Because of Covid concerns, 1. Do you still have the salad bar for dinner? 2. Do you check…

Yes - they still have the salad bar - I went before the vaccine mandates - so they did not check - but in NYC - all restaurants do check - hope that helps - as far as the staff - not sure - but they do wear masks

Do they have any halal meats (halal chicken, beef or lamb)?

Hello! No, we do not have any type of Halal meat. Our apologies.

Are they doing restaruant week all you can eat?

Hi Doman- We are offering a Signature Dining Experience for $125 a person. Unlimited Caipirinhas, red/white wine, beer, all you can eat signature cuts and gourmet salad bar, dessert, coffee all kinds, $25 Gift card to be used on a future visit and a…

Is this place still doing all you can eat?

    Yes! Delicious!

Is the meat selection for restaurant week AYCE?

    Yes, they are.

Is the restaurant week for $42 All you can eat meat?

Yes but the service is horrible. Even with a reservation the wait can be very long (in my case over 1 hour). The salad bar was a mess with soggy offerings. The meat was good - it just did not come around very often. The sides were not terrible.…

Can someone tell me what the difference in meat options is for lunch and dinner? I want to be sure so that I plan things accordingly. Does lunch have Garlic Picanha, leg of lamb, tenderloin wrapped in bacon etc?

Hi Dennis- some of the cuts are only serve during dinner. Please check the link below:…

Will Churrascaria Plataforma participate in Restaurant Week?

They have in the past, no reason to think they won't participate again.

Can one person choose Prix Fixe salad bar while her spouse orders Prix Fixe Prime Dinner?

Yes, you may do that for sure. Churrascaria Plataforma is very accomodating when it comes to such a request.

Is there a difference between lunch and dinner besides price?

Certain items are not included in the lunch, check the website for the menu for both.

How much is it for unlimited?

Rodizio Prime Lunch: - 12:00 PM to 3:30pm PM Monday through Friday: $40.95 Saturday/Sunday: $48.95…

    Do they serve lamb chops?

We do serve lamb chops during dinner hours.

Do they sell well done meats?

Yes, we do. Our meats are grilled and served to your taste. Thank you.

A Birthday Dinner That Felt Like a Scene From a New York Movie…read more We chose Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for my birthday dinner because we wanted something special--not just a good meal, but a real New York moment. And the moment we walked in, I thought, yes... this is exactly where a birthday should happen. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings, dramatic staircase, rich wood, elegant details, and huge dining room made everything feel grand and glamorous. It had the classic energy of an American steakhouse, but with a modern and luxurious New York style. Then I noticed the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows. Honestly, the glass was so perfectly clean that I almost forgot there was glass there at all. For a second, it felt like the entire city was simply open in front of us. I was strangely impressed by this because giant windows in a busy city are not always this spotless. But here, they were crystal clear, and the New York view became part of our dinner. We sat looking out at the city, ordered wine, and began my birthday celebration. Then, as if someone had carefully planned the scene, a sudden rain shower started outside. Perfect timing. There we were, sitting inside this beautiful restaurant, watching the rain fall over New York through the giant windows, drinking delicious wine, eating incredible food, and celebrating my birthday with my family. It felt less like dinner and more like a scene from a movie. The wine was wonderful, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The oysters were fresh and clean-tasting. The burrata was creamy, soft, and beautiful with the tomatoes. The warm bread arrived shiny with butter and was dangerously good--the kind of bread that makes you say, "I'm only having one," and then suddenly the basket is empty. The fish entrée was beautifully prepared, and the steak was exactly what I hoped for. It had a deeply seared, flavorful crust on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. This was not the kind of steak you quietly eat. This was the kind of steak that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. That silence was the review. Everything tasted carefully prepared, and the ingredients felt fresh and high quality. There was not one disappointing dish on the table. At the end of dinner, they brought out a lovely birthday dessert with strawberries, pink cream, a candle, and a "Happy Birthday" chocolate decoration. It was sweet, pretty, and the perfect ending to the evening. The beautiful interior, the sparkling wine, the city view, the sudden rain, the excellent food, and my family celebrating together made the entire night unforgettable. I went there expecting a nice birthday dinner. Instead, I received a full New York birthday movie scene--with steak. I would absolutely return the next time I visit New York. Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is a wonderful choice for a birthday, anniversary, romantic dinner, or any occasion when an ordinary meal simply is not enough.

My wife and I took our kids (10 and 16 year old boys) to this place on our last evening in NYC. We…read morewere looking for a place that had a nice ambiance and good food. Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

Service was good. We had the fried chicken Benedict and the crab cake Benedict. I was a bit confused when I saw that each Benedict dish only had one poached egg - shouldn't it always be two? I guess that's shrinkflation (plus inflation) for you. That bent said, the crab cake was actually really big and filling. The side of potatoes were really delicious. Would I come back for brunch again? Very unlikely. But, it does seem like a pretty "safe choice" if you need a last minute reservation for a group.

I sat at the bar, since it was only me, but tho the bar wasn't busy and service was friendly, it was very slow. The food was wonderful! I'm glad I made the choices I did, tho of course nothing I wanted was included in the happy hour specials. The fried calamari was some of the best I've had tho it was observed with a little bit of cocktail sauce and a huge thing of tartar sauce. I'm sure I could have gotten more cocktail sauce, since I don't like tartar sauce, but it wasn't necessary. The calamari was so good. The lobster bisque was delicious and the picture can't show you that it was full of lobster. There was a LOT more lobster than a lobster bisque normally contains and the price was about normal for a lobster bisque with one tiny piece of lobster. The iced tea was a bit out of control. If I'm going to be charged $5 per glass of iced tea, that glass should be larger than the ones they use AND not 90% ice. That much for a glass of ice with a splash of iced tea is extreme. I'd still return, since the food was wonderful and hopefully I just got unlucky with the service.
