This restaurant went from a place I'd recommend to everyone to now being a place I'd never return. Started off by not being greeted by anyone until 5 minutes later someone who works in the back had to give us a seat. He was very polite and tried to get us a waiter/waitress. She came about 7-8 minutes later and placed our drink orders, another 5-7 minutes pass and we get our drinks (it was just water). We then placed our food order which was 2 entrees and a cup of queso. We got our queso but it was so cold and watery. When our food came about 15 minutes later it all looked good but my wife's brisket tacos were so dry and unseasoned. We tried multiple times to flag someone down so that we could return the plate but no one was around to help us and we were left alone for the entire time we were there. Not sure if it was a bad day for them or what but the restaurant was almost empty but the bar was full. No excuses and we will definitely not be back. read more

Enchiladas hosted a 50 person + party for me 4/8/23. It was outstanding. Nick, Vero, Maria and Chris took charge from beginning to end. This was my first big party and I had no idea what to expect. They far exceeded my hopes. They were so professional, accommodating and supportive. The food and drinks were terrific. Probably one of the best Tex-Mex place I've been to in terms of quality of food and service. The place definitely has that local business ambiance and where the staff was welcoming. We got seated immediately and the waiter was very attentive as well. There's the chips and salsa appetizers and also had the fajitas where they bring it out on a high iron skillet that's still sizzling. I've been here another time and had the chicken Atkins lunch as well where I both recommend. Everything was seasoned well and had good balance of flavors. This place is super cute and also has a smoking area at the bar as well. The cocktail was exquisite and very fresh with avocados, tomatoes juice and all the good stuff served with saltine crackers. I've known of this place for several years, and finally decided to give it a try, especially their shrimp enchiladas. My wife loves shrimp, and I decided to surprise her with dinner this evening. She thought the meal was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed my cheese enchiladas as well. As noted in other reviews, they do package there to go meals quite well. Nothing was crushed. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. The food was so good, service, ambiance good. Last two times we went there, group of four then group of six, the place smelled like raw sewage near the front door and towards the kitchen area in the back. In spite of the smell, the food was ok, but last time we went none of us were able to eat. We had just lost a family member and it was her favorite place for Mexican food. We all pretended to eat but after we got home we started talking about that smell. You know how it is when you don't want to complain? Won't be back. Hope they fixed the problem. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Dallas. It's consistently great food and wonderful staff. Estebon is my all time favorite we are family at this point. He remembers our order and has watched our kids grow up over the years.. he takes great care of anything we need and always has such a positive and uplifting personality.. enchiladas will forever be my go to restaurant for a good meal and great ambience with nice people and family vibes!! Just as soon I ordered my lunch the volume on the music went up. It was not loud. I seat in the sun room the volume was way down. When I asked to lower the volume I was told it's that loud all over the restaurant. He told me that they could not adjust the volume. I will not be back in. Great place to get Tex-Mex food! I've eaten Enchilada's food few times, all to-go's at my work place. This time, my husband and I visited to dine for lunch. We ordered from their lunch combo menu, and we were not disappointed! I ordered sour cream chicken enchilada and flauta combo, and my husband ordered jalapeno cream enchilada/beef enchilada/tostada combo. Both dishes were delicious and took care of our Tex-Mex craving! Also their chips and salsas were addicting. The portion size is big enough to stuff you, and the price is not bad at all.
