    The bitten jalapeno.

Where to start. So I ordered a burger from this establishment. Giving it my third try. They have gotten my orders in the past wrong. Since I'm in the service industry I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately I received a jalapeno in my order that was 1/3rd bitten off. Clearly there are bite marks. I called the store to let them know about my order and the employee named Arron told me," we don't do that shot here". And hung up on me. I called back for an apology and refused to talk to me. Really showing his true value as a man. And the respect for the culture or Mexican cuisine. His attitude was really disgusting. Sadly three strikes your out. And Mr. Arron was the cherry on top. So please everyone think twice going here. They have so self respect. Mario bros tacos would never do anything like this.

We had a great lunch here recently. The chips and salsa were just ok. The salsa was kind of bland and the chips tasted like they were burned. However, the Trompo and chicken tacos were excellent. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of space inside and on the patio. We'll be back soon.

Went for the 2nd time for a quick lunch while our sink was getting fixed at home. Had the birria quesadilla. It was kind of lame, though the meat and consommé tasted good. It was not crispy at all and made on 3 super tiny ultra soft and limp corn tortillas. Noticed there was a credit card charge as well. So for the price $18 for a small quesadilla with no sides and not prepared to my taqueria quesadilla expectations I'm rethinking coming back soon. I was also still hungry afterwards and my appetite is not large.

Photo after removing the filler(weenies and pork skin).

Came in for tacos and charro beans. Tacos were great, the charro beans are another story. Got home and it's all filler, weenies and pork skin. There was enough beans to fill a table spoon once I separated all the filler out. Drank all the juice to give you idea how many beans were in the soup.

    Fitos 10/10

If you go to Fitos order the Mixas on a taco or quesadilla you won't be disappointed. Top tier well priced taco place that exceeds all expectations. 10/10 been a few times now. Crazy.

Total crap! Will not be coming back. Customer service was lacking, at best. By the time I got my food, is was cold and charred.

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. Ambiance is loud, but I was also there during the Mexico WC game, so that's understandable. The place was lively and fun.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED

The flavor is spot on - the green & red sauce add a good amount of spice to offset the richness of the meat. We also had the street corn which is creamy & delicious. I ordered the burrito ranchero and it was absolutely amazing - packed with flavor and perfectly executed. The churros were a bit overdone, but everything else more than made up for it.
