First time visiting this Campuzano. We usually go to Waxahachie location and sometimes the Cedar Hill location. I think this location might be more of a bar than a restaurant. At least that's the vibe we got. I'd probably come here for an appetizer and a drink but not for dinner. Drinks are good. The food here is okay. Nothing extremely special. It's just good Tex-Mex. Nothing more nothing less. I think the food at the other locations is a little better served hot. Here the food isn't the focus it seems like. Now, at this location they give you 3 types of salsas with your chips. One is the original Traditional Red Salsa that's always pretty good, then there's a Salsa Verde that's tasty, and the Diablo. None are really spicy. The Diablo salsa is not great, it lacks flavor. This location is apparently the only one that gives you the 3 salsa tray with the chips. The waiter lacked so bad. He never really checked on us and we had to flag him down. We asked for Coke Zero and he said "we don't have any Zero cokes here only Diet Coke", but it was labeled right along with other fountain drinks there at the machine. He was just off, maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on his customers. But other than that the food was okay. Again, nothing special about it, but the other locations seem to have fresher food and serve your food hot. The establishment was clean and so were the restrooms.

Pretty solid Tex-Mex food. They have a lot of options on the menu. I liked the plate combo where you can choose 1-3 items. I chose the 2 item plate and got the chicken enchilada and chicken taco. I decided on the queso sauce for the enchilada and it was very flavorful. The taco was filled with chicken, veggies, and cheese too. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. They have a parking lot which makes parking easy too!

This is my boyfriend and Is guilty pleasure! We come here anytime we want to eat good and relax. The only dish i can get here are the vegetable tacos as it is the only vegan dish in the menu. It's ok because this dish is perfection. It makes me feel like my family made this meal for me, it feels like home. They always give a huge portion so u eat half and can take the other half home. OH YEAH i have to mention the chips and salsa prior to the meal- addictive. It's like an assembly line, one chip after another go into my mouth. I can't stop! The food here is so good. I didn't interact with the staff much, they were nice though. The restaurant does look older, but it gives it the lived in charm. Because this place is our guilty pleasure, you know we will be back for sure!

The food was absolutely nothing to get excited about. I felt like the shrimp were small and few. I did enjoy the rice. My server was good but the person bringing the chips and things was not. The atmosphere was fine.

We were in town visiting and this place came up on Yelp. We decided to try it. The outside and inside of the restaurant is so cute, I love the bar area. The staff were super friendly and we were seated right away. We loved our waiter, he was very attentive. We did the skinny margaritas on the rocks. 10/10- I really enjoyed them. We both did a quesadilla and I would say the shrimp quesadilla is way better and so good! It's a good vibe for drinks.

Campuzano's is one of my favorite places here in Dallas. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. The food is so good too, hardly anything bad on the menu. My favorite are the flautas but don't sleep on the quesadillas or the fajitas- also my favorites! The margaritas are pretty good here too. I highly recommend for a fun dinner to start the night or for changing things up during the week!

A staple amongst my friend group. Reminiscent of a classic diner the morning after you drank a little too much. The food is greasy and maybe a little over salted, but hits the right spots. It's your classic Tex-Mex options with quesadillas, flautas, and the sizzling skillet of fajitas. Get their chimichanga if you're extra hungry! They'll always start you off with chips and a trio of salsas. Their flavor profile changes but my favorite is typically their green salsa with a fresh and tart taste, it accompanies most of their food well. During my last visit I tried their large shrimp quesadillas, and they were delicious. I've had their chicken and steak options before, and often feel overwhelmed by how greasy they are. The shrimp option was not too heavy. Plenty of shrimp and cheese, with a scoop of guacamole and sour cream on the side. The large was more than enough for me, with my friends having tried some as well. Their drinks provide a solid jump start to the bars with their margaritas having more than enough liquid courage mixed in. The sangria swirled margarita will have you belting your favorite tunes at karaoke before you know it. The staff if friendly and attentive. Consistently checking up on you, refilling drinks or coffee. The location is quiet enough for conversation and normally not too packed. Come early to avoid the unnecessary valet as they're simply parking your car in front of you. Prices are a little high but most options you'll find in the area are on par.

This was my first time dining in as I've already had it to go. But now I will always opt in coming inside. I came for national margarita day and it was so much fun. The drinks were $7 I believe and the food was so good and fresh! One thing that I can't overlook is the service. Every server that checked on us was amazing and the chips and salsa kept coming. Now I did have to pay $5 for valet parking... I don't know if this was because it's not a lot of parking anyway so they always do this or because there was a lot of people because of national margarita day. I would definitely come here again and bringing friends outside on the patio.

They have a good tortilla soup. I also tried the veggie nachos and were good!!! Can't beat the trio of hot sauces too! Also a decent happy hour on drinks till 7p during the week

I love the frozen drinks here, specifically the Uber Margarita! I think you can only get 2, but that's all you need =D The decor is so inviting. It's like walking into a big house with a nice big bar and everyone is so pleasant :)

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

If you hadn't told me it was duck, I probably would have thought it was chicken. The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious. It was a cholesterol mouse that was covered in a hazelnut chocolate shell with a raspberry sauce. Overall a great time was had & I'd gladly go back to try more.
