When the plates hit the floor a piece of a plate/s that broke off, stabs my 16-year-old daughter through her shoe, and almost hitting a vein. She has been taken to the ER and now needs to have surgery by a specialist to take out the piece of glass still inside her wound. Great food, great service (ask for Esteban), and Pamela makes the best top-shelf margaritas in town (1/2 off M-F 3-6pm). Get the "Fancy Nachos", they load them with tons of beef, cheese and bean dip. The enchiladas with jalapeño sour cream sauce are amazing with just the right level of spiciness. The salsa is addictive, so be careful not to fill up on it. I live right down the road from this place and I always see that it is packed so I had to try it out! Tex-mex is probably one of my favorites. Sandy was our server and she was amazing and super attentive. They do have a sign on the door that says best waitstaff in Dallas and they did not disappoint. Please do not spend your money here!! It used to be a place to grab decent food but the experience last Saturday will be our last. We ordered the enchilada plates with veggies. All of our enchiladas were cold with rubbery cheese filling. But that wasn't the worst part.The cold roasted veggies on the side of my plate were coated in sour cream as if they had been taken off someone else's plate. It was really obvious they reuse the food of customers after taking it back in the kitchen. I called them out, spoke to the manager. He denied and came up with some excuse for why sour cream was coated on the veggies. He didn't apologize. Didn't try to remedy the situation. Little care by the manager, low quality of food and major health code violation! This restaurant goes on my Never Again list and you should avoid at all cost. read more

This is an annual tradition for our family to come to this restaurant after the St Paddy's Day Parade. We always get one of those coupons that they throw out to us. But more importantly, it wouldnt matter if they gave coupons if the restaurant didnt have great food or staff. When we hit it up, we usually hit it up with a large crowd. My mom and I came here today for lunch and I was impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere. We sat in their covered patio outside, which was filled with colorful tables, a bar, and TV. They quickly brought us out chips and salsa, which was delicious. The chips were not too salty and the salsa was seasoned just right. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered their bean soup, which was absolutely delicious! It was filled with brown beans, bacon, and tomatoes. The sauce was nice snd thick. I asked for some white cheese, which our waiter happily brought out for free. It really made the soup pop. I dipped a few chips in it and it was so tasty! We came here on a Wednesday night around 6pm for an early dinner. There were 3 other tables in the restaurant. We ordered a margarita each and they came in a schooner. Awesome drinks. Plenty of alcohol but not too much to over power the drink itself. We ordered the chicken fajita nachos and the shrimp diablo. The shrimp diablo was awesome!!! You honestly cant go wrong with shrimp, jalapeno and bacon! The nachos were good. Not amazing but not bad. They were just good. The service was wonderful. Our water never dropped below the two inch line. The manager made sure to come by and ask how everything came out and made sure our experience was up to par. Always a good thing in customer service. We went here for dinner on a weeknight and it was really good. The salsa was spicy. The chips were not greasy. My Mexican tacos ($12.29, 4 to an order) were excellent. I was able to mix and match so I got two brisket, one chicken, and one skirt steak. All were tasty but the skirt steak was the best. The meat was tender and really flavorful. The wife ordered the chile relleno with cheese ($9.99) and ate it all, she really liked it. Throw in a couple of margarita specials and a shot on the side, and Monday nights are not so bad. I've been coming here for years. While once a five-star it's come down over the years, but still settling comfortably somewhere in the three and a half to four star range these days. I come here for lunch, dinner & drinks (Margaritas!!), weekdays, weekends, and drinks (Margaritas!!) Always a great place to meet friends and have a great margarita and good Tex-Mex. The margaritas are still one of the best in town, you can taste and feel it. Yes! The service is simply awesome. The wait staff has always been on top of it. A few of them have been there since my first visit many, many years ago. They always make you feel welcome and never rushed. Best of all, they keep your glasses full no matter what's in the glass! The Noon Delights are still a big hit with me, the portions are just the right size for lunch. Filling without stuffing you. The Sour Cream Chicken enchiladas are the best I've had anywhere. My favorites here have always been the Flauta Dinner, Sour Cream Chicken enchiladas, and the Lunch Fajitas. I read the reviews before joining my friends to celebrate a birthday with Sunday brunch, so I went with high expectations; but, I was not impressed with my experience. I think there must be a difference with the buffet offerings and the dishes made-to-order. If you eat from the vegetarian/pescetarian 'side of the plate' the buffet is a waste of money... unless you really load up on the frozen Bellinis or Mimosas included in the buffet price. Even my daughter (who is very much a meat eater) commented that only the roast chicken was best part of the meal. And there was much more than that on the buffet. I suggested to the owner -who stopped by and greeted our large group- that at least ONE more fish dish (there was a shrimp cocktail) would be greatly appreciated. They could also add some CRISP steamed or sautéed veggies. The ones on the buffet were water-logged and cooked to the extent of losing their color! The service was EXCELLENT though and I noticed that, for those who were knocked down those Bellinis, he kept them coming. The owner gave everyone a discount card to use on a return visit. I picked my mom up and wanted to take her to Mexican seafood near the zoo but we didn't have a lot of time. So I've always passed this place going home and said let's go here. Once we got inside we felt welcomed and the staff was very attentive even though we couldn't make up our mind on what we wanted. So I finally chose a chicken enchiladas plate that was superb to every single pallet of my taste buds!! I slowly ate my food bc it just tasted so dang good!! I forgot to ask the waiter to substitute the rice with extra beans bc I just can't stand Mexican rice for some reason but there's was so good I made sure there wasn't a single grain left. We also had the queso gauc which was very very good I know I wanna go back asap. So we are going to Enchilada's for lunch the other day. As I was walking up to the building the question in my mind pops up, " is it Tuesday? Or Thursday?" ... an important question for those who are regulars. Tuesdays are the $3 meltdowns and $3 swirls are on Thursday. Well, it was neither. Then it dawned on me, my wife and I have been coming here for over 20 years. 20 years! This is a place to get a margarita: swirl, meltdown, on the rocks, big or small. Simple. Nothing fancy. Just good drinks. Standard fare for me tends to have a rotation: Fajitas, Tony's Chicken, Brisket Tacos and/or Tacos Al Carbon with corn tortillas (instead of flour) and a grilled jalapeno. Back in the 90's it was sour cream chicken enchiladas, which I am sure is still worth a go. But it is the Tuesdays and Thursdays that keep us coming back and has kept us coming for the past 20 years. read more

The food is good here, but i had 2 issues. One, the server brought me the wrong bill 3 times and I was told your happy hour has been permanently canceled due to the virus. Seriously? Average Tex Mex food. I'd recommend the fajitas, enchiladas and queso w/meat. My personal favorite is the Tilapia Gusto, it's 4 large blackened tilapia fillets that comes with beans, rice, avocado and a homemade slaw that has honey dressing; a bit pricey though. Enchiladas also offers punch cards for every entree you purchase and after 12 punches you get a free entree. Now the real reason I come here is for their Margarita specials, they have several specials throughout the week. On Mondays they have half off the Big E, which is around 4-5 margaritas in one. Tuesdays is the frozen Meltdown for $3 (16oz) it's a frozen margarita with a shot of Gran Gala (orange liqueur)on top Wednesdays is half off all margaritas Thursdays - Frozen Sangria Swirl $3 Their margaritas are decent, but not my favorite. They lack a good lime taste, at least the frozen ones do which is all I've tried. Everytime I've ever ordered one I've never been given a lime and always have to request them. This is a mistake, since the margarita itself is missing that good lime taste. Now after squeezing 2-3 lime wedges inside they are great. Also this is one of the few Mexican or Tex-Mex places that I've been to that doesn't offer out door seating. It has this weird giant Sunroom that nobody sits in unless they're having a party, I'd say get rid of it and make it a patio w/fans overhead and a few TVs. If they could improve on their margaritas, I'd happily give them another star. This place is worth a visit. read more

We were actually headed to pick up food elsewhere when we decided to eat here instead. We didn't know much about this place, but we are basically always down for Tex-Mex and it sounded good. It wasn't very busy inside, but it was clean and everyone was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in the door. The chips and salsa were good. The chips were crisp and not too greasy. The salsa tasted similar to Pace picante, but it was good. I ordered the Avocadolada Dinner which was basically guacamole enchiladas with grilled chicken and pico de Gallo on top. They were surprisingly good! The grilled chicken was really tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the Messy Burrito Plate which was two beef burritos with queso on top. They were pretty good, but we both thought the Avocadolada Dinner was the better of the two, for sure. It looked like they had pretty good drink specials during the week, so we will probably be back at some point. read more

They serve chips and salsa yes it's similar to a tomato salsa that most Tex Mex restaurants serve but this one has a little kick to it (not too spicy but still good) I got the brisket tacos (2) with rice and beans flour tortilla (not home made btw) and my husband got the beef fajita chimichanga with rice and beans. I am giving this place 4 stars only because the server was a bit rude when we asked for a To-Go box and for the check! This is a go to place for me I'm here 3 times a week and I ordered the big bird burrito and this time I got fajita chicken instead of shredded chicken and was charged 6$ extra!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and apparently they are suppose to charge for queso on top but we have never been charged for the quest cause they always ask us what topping we want and they include queso in their options. Never again will I be coming here. The manager is a douche bag and does not know how to treat his customers!!
