Delicious Pour Over and Jack and the Staff are highly dedicated to their craft. Jack made me a washed Colombian from Sey and it was fantastic. They have limited options but source good coffees and care about the customer experience. Jack was busy talking to another cafe member and I was crunched for time but it seems Jack is always up for a chat and if I ever stop by I'd love to talk about coffee and whatever comes up. Last time we spoke, Jack mentioned a possible collaboration with Diego Bermudez, my absolute favorite roaster, who have a heavenly lychee forward Colombian light roast. That would be the dream, mad hacker Diego's beans, and rocket scientist Jack's extraction. There's great coffee shops in LA from Kumquat to Maru, Dayglow to the Boy and the Bear, Good Boy Bob to Loquat, but there's only one Endorffeine. This will never be a chain, or run by employees. I had a triple shot latte (hot) and my gf had the same thing (iced). My reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the iced version just wasn't good. Also, they pour the iced version in a paper cup. I found that pretty strange as it forces you to finish it fast. Nonetheless, the hot version was extremely well done and a solid 5 stars all around. The Sey Colombian espresso I had was solid, but not mind blowing - it's nice to have options for light roast espresso. The "house coffee" was unusual - I think a Kenyan cold brew resteamed and lightly foamed to warm it up? I'm not usually a fan of cold brew but this was quite good - fruity and with a nice texture. This isn't a place to come if you're in a rush. The owner is the only barista and he takes his time making the drinks to his satisfaction, but it's worth the visit if you have time. read more

I've been coming here since my college years back in 2016-2017, and one of the reasons I moved to LA from the bay was for places like this coffeeshop. It has a simple menu and very recently they expanded to allow "for-here" inside seating so you can take a bit more time to appreciate and enjoy the coffeemaking and the product you receive. Owned by a Thai husband and wife duo and their sleeping shop dog (you won't be able to see him since he naps behind the counter), this is one of my top 5 favorite coffeeshops in LA. I'll be reviewing the other 4 shortly. Personally I've seen Jack pull the first espresso shot and then discard it, rinse it, and then pull another, to be able to serve a better one to his customers. The person in front of me ordered an espresso and the dude bent down on his knees to visually check the flow rate out of the portafilter. When he was making my pour over, he used a custom water dispenser to stream hot water directly into the bed of coffee.
