I have several roof leaks in one area and Fitzhauer was the second roofer I called for a quote. My rule is to get three quotes and choose the guy in the middle. This has never failed. After an inspection Manny and Saul offered to help knowing rain is arriving this Thu/Fri. They pushed up all slipping tiles. Manny then offered to go to his workplace to collect a couple of tiles that were broken (I didn't have any spares, and their office is 10 minutes away - lucky me). He came back and replaced them and told me I should be good for now. No invoice, no offer to repair for a fee. That is customer service at its finest! I have no intention of leaving it as is knowing how old the paper is. I'm expecting to let it all dry out a bit and, in a week, or two will pull up all tile and repaper it all. Jay was amazing. I had a shoddy company incorrectly install my skylights and was getting bugs in them. We initially hired them to replace our old siding with James Hardie siding and paint our house and pergola. They also installed a new front door, exterior light fixtures, and new gutters. After contacting a few other companies, we decided to go with Fitzhauer due to their prompt communication, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Everything was easy from the start. They were quick to respond to my inquiry via Yelp. I got a timely appointment within a couple of days and a clear and detailed bid thereafter. We worked with Arren Mendoza who was super easy-going, always very courteous, and responsive. He checked in on our project regularly and always provided exceptional customer service. He was very knowledgeable and patient when responding to any questions/changes and issues/concerns throughout the project. We were always kept apprised of the progress without having to ask and he always made sure we were happy with how the project was coming along. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Their siding and paint crews were also always professional and courteous. Alex & team did a great job with the siding installation and always made sure to clarify with us what we wanted when they were unsure. The painting crew, Cipriano & team, were awesome going above and beyond the call of duty and always cleaning up and leaving our property nice and neat as can be at the end of the day. In 2023, Fitzhauer replaced our roof. Last year, we found some worrisome areas. They immediately made some minor repairs. Then we purchased solar panels. In addition to city inspection, I called Fitzhauer to inspect the roof after the solar installation. Recently, we've had a few down pours. A drain pipe with a scupper on top had dislodged causing rain to leak into my basement. I called and they showed up 2 hours later to make the repair! They have extraordinary customer service. We just completed a project with Fitzhauer Construction this past weekend and their 5 star reputation here on Yelp is well deserved. Our project consisted of removing the old siding off the front of the house and replacing it with Hardie board. We went with lap siding on the left side of the house and board and batten for the lower side of the house. We then had the whole house painted and rain gutters installed. From start to finish, this company is top notch. Arren Mendoza coordinated the project and was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to work with and never pushy. He's knowledgeable and kept the project on track the whole way through. Abbi and his team did a tremendous job on the siding. They worked non stop for 2 weeks in the sweltering 100 degree heat wave that we had in September. His attention to detail and workmanship is second to none. Highly efficient and a master at his craft. Cipriano and team did a tremendous job in painting the house. The paint job came out flawless. You get a roof! You get a roof! You get a roof! Nah, I'm not giving away any roofs but the feeling you get once it's done is just that satisfying. Fitzhauer Construction are top notch. Everything about the process was painless. Upon the initial visit Arren was pretty thorough in the inspection and listened to my concerns. No BS, no sales tactics, just pure honesty like it should be. I was emailed a quote and the project was a go. Simple and straightforward: all of the work was done in a few days. The estimate said so and they stuck to it. But that's not all... Just after the old roof material removal was completed there was unexpected drizzle, and someone was sent out to put temporary covers on certain exposed areas of my roof. Didn't even have to ask! Then the heat started to pick up so I felt bad for the guys on top of my house, but they were appreciative of the cool water I offered them. Exceptional service: they earned their brownie points and the 5 stars. By the time the work was done and we did the final walk-around, I was struggling to come up with any other questions. Long overdue review! Fitzhauer totally transformed the outside of my house. We had some stucco repaired, texcote, windows, sliders, and an awning done by Neil and his team. From start to finish they were always on top of it and always responsive. Most companies/contractors are lazy, take a long time to complete the job, and are poor communicators-- but not Fitzhauer. Review is for a roof leak repair. Could not be happier with the service provided!! Had a roof leak discovered during So Cal's last "almost hurricane". Called Fitzhauer the day after the rains stopped...scheduled a time within a few days to have them come out for a free estimate - they could have come out sooner, but I wasn't available. Kevin came out to assess the condition of the roof and provide an estimate. He was very respectful of my property - removed shoes inside my house and all :). Took pictures, clearly explained to me what the issue was and what his recommendation was in order to repair. Scheduled them to complete the work within the next couple of days. Individuals (Charles and somebody else, but I didn't catch his name) who completed the repair were also respectful of my home and my time. They were quick, took plenty before/after pictures and explained to me what they did.
