As you can see what looks like dog food above, they charged me 25 dollars for this. I used to get steak teriyaki it was sooooo good, last time I came the portion got a lot smaller I was literally still hungry. Come try it again today they're not even giving you pieces of steak they chopped up the tiniest bit of tough disgusting cut of meat that looks and tastes like dog food, barely put any sauce on it as you can see it the second picture and decided to charge me 25 bucks. I used to love coming here years ago. You never know when the store is open. They rarely answer the phone and making orders online is difficult now. When making the order online it says the store is open but it's actually not. I'm also not sure why they're not open earlier, especially for the people who go to the gym in the same center. I first went to energy fuel years ago when it was first opened and I believe only had one location prior to franchising. Then branched our to others. I do give 4 stars if you like to juice with fresh fruit and veggies. They have a list of ingredients and what it's good for which is encouraging. I called ahead to pick it up on my way home from out east so was starving! When I walked inside the cashier was in the back and the guy behind the counter couldn't help me. So while I'm drooling watching the people inside eating I waited patiently. I got my drink of fresh veggies which was delicious! Drinking that I was expecting the food to be as great as well! Excited to get home to eat my food but disappointed. There was only one small sauce and I recall that was my problem years ago. I did ask for extra. - healthy food with zero flavor! I asked them if they could customize a smoothie because as tasty as the ones they offer on the menu are they usually have too much fruit for the nutrition plan I'm following. The staff is friendly. They have chairs and tables inside to sit and it is never crowded. I like the food and menu options here! They have a lot of high protein/ low fat or low carb options. They also have a huge selection of healthy freshly squeezed juices and fruit smoothies. My favorite things here are the energy bbq chicken plate, energy bbq quesadilla and protein shakes!! Service can be a bit slow here. I usually call ahead and still have to wait. Make sure you repeat your order so the girls gets it right. It is very common for them to mess up the order. It's hard to decide which is worse, the food or the service here. Placed an order for one wrap and one quesadilla at 2:15, well after any lunch rush they may have had. Uber eats told us 25 minutes for pick up. Then as that time approached, the restaurant changed it to 3:05. Not sure why it takes almost an hour on a Wednesday for 2 items. I have been ordering from energy fuel for years about 3 times a week I've never received such bad service in my life. Not sure if they switched cooks or what not but it's out of hand. I go to crunch right next store 3 times a week so it is convenient for me to go here. Tonight I ordered the energy césear salad. You can see in the description there is turkey bacon, and dressing included but i did not receive that. I had to go out to the store to get salad dressing and they also put tomatoes in the salad. Where in the description does it say tomatoes, i hate tomatoes. I wanted baby spinach for the lettuce type, i get iceberg and romaine. I hate iceberg lettuce. Nothing is more infuriating when you pay 20$ for a salad and a side and get service like this. Not to mention they mess up my wraps every single time and also my bowls. Everything you order has some form of protein in it. The service depends on who's working there. A couple of cashier's have their friends come through and don't pay attention to other customers at times. Other than that service is fine. The wraps are nice and hearty and if recommend them to anyone who wants something healthy especially after a workout. Their protein shakes are also really good. My personal favorite is the nutter butter. Always hits the spot. My only issue is that it can get pricey which is where subway had them beat. A meal will run you close to $10 if not more. The location is convenient for a post workout protein smoothie or lunch (especially if you go to Crunch Gym) The menu is lengthy with a variety of choices. Vegetarian options are available. So many smoothies and juices to choose from. Wheatgrass shots are sold here too. A little on the pricey side but worth it. As a healthy eater, this place is like a dream. I wish there was in one closer to the islip/bayshore area!!! I have been wanting to try for a while now, so today I got take out for lunch. Ordered the create your own plate option which includes a protein, two sides, and a sauce. I tried the chicken and it was pretty good! Next time I will try salmon. Sautéed spinach and broccoli were yummy and it was a perfect post workout meal. Added avocado of course! I recommend it, although I see lots of bad reviews concerning the customer service I did not have any issues. The girl was not the friendliest but no reason to complain about it. Very good flavors of the chicken and guacamole. And the tortilla chips were the best I have ever had. Maybe they are baked instead of fried? And large portions. The only downside was the chicken was extremely dry and the salad dressing tasted like store bought bottled dressing. I recently visited Energy Fuel in West Babylon, which must be new because I have been going to the Deer Park location and never heard of this until I typed it in my google maps. It's located in the crunch fitness shopping center which is pretty convenient for the people who go there. But anyways I got my usual smoothie which is the called "Kale". It's kale, apple, pineapple and banana. The smoothie is so good but def pricey (but you are getting real ingredients and not syrups like trop smoothie). After placing the order for a smoothie and wraps, the wait was long. About 15 mins to make my wrap. I don't know if it is because they make everything fresh or it was just busy but it is a long time to wait considering it is a togo place. Someone ahead of me asked how much longer bc they had to leave. I got the beach club wrap without onions. It tasted great.
