    Loaded fries (to go)
    Scott W.

Now, I don't frequent in Suffolk County. However, as I was leaving Backyard Masters across the street I saw Burger Village. I consider myself a burger aficionado, so I thought what the hell. I'll try it. Upon entry, the place is clean, the decor is nice. I could consider bringing someone here on a date someday, maybe. I was greeted by Reeg, who was very nice as well. I love their menu. So many burger options! Elk, Bison, Turkey and of course grass fed beef, which is what I ordered. I also ordered the loaded fries. Not gonne lie, I didn't think pico and guac worked on fries, but they were seasoned quite nice. Only thing I wish it didn't have was Mayo. Made it a little too sweet, but still good nonetheless. Then I got my burger. I've seen some reviews on here saying their burgers had no flavor. Idk what the heck kinda burgers THEY ordered but mine was not only juicy for a medium well burger (I should have ordered it Medium) but also well seasoned. Could taste the salt and pepper and the sauce was pretty good also. If I'm ever in the neighboorhood again, I'll be back to try another burger or maybe I'll find a lovely lady in Suffolk to date to take as an excuse. Thank you Burger Village for giving me a good experience and satisfying my need for a good burger. And thank you Reeg for your kind service.

Good ambiance ! Isaac is an excellent host! Made my decision much easier to choose my burger.

I love Burger Village, mostly because the meat is organic, no hormones or pesticides or animal cruelty involved & they taste amazing. They just opened one in Deer Park & I went last night & had a burger with the California topping & it was delicious (with avocado and red peppers) I'm a huge fan :))

I left the theater watching "The Menu" and if you seen the film than you know in the end you are craving a real good authentic burger. Didn't realize the spot I choose was organic, all natural spot and it is most definitely one of those happy accidents. It was by far as of now the best organic burger I have had on the island. Visited Montreal many times where they have some organic options and my tastebuds are real happy to find one of them here on the island so close to home. This place won't disappoint and if you read my past reviews than you know if I say a spot hits the mark than trust me on this one. You won't be disappointed.

Who doesn't love a good burger? I've been to this location twice now, so it was time to leave a review. The other special promotion for buy one, and get one burger free so I decided to capitalize on that this time around. I ordered a bison burger with the usual fixings and added bacon. I also had a side of Sweet Frings (1/2 sweet potatoes +1/2 onion rings) with barbecue sauce & garlic aioli as my dip. It was definitely closer to 1/4 onion rings + three-quarter sweet potatoes. The entire meal was good, just what you need when you're looking to grab a burger with a twist. Staff is friendly. They promote very heavily along the walls, how their burgers are 100% organic, all natural meat. They have extensive menu options you can mix and match, so I'll be returning to try something more exotic (ostrich) next time.

The Good: Lots of vegan options Wide variety of sauces available to pair with your meal Large burgers Fresh ingredients The Bad: Expensive -- you could eat better burgers for less Avoid French fries Slow service Forgot my milkshake - had to go back to get it

I decided to visit burger village for lunch since I had a lot of credit on Allset, a food ordering app, and this was the only participating restaurant nearby. I placed my order via the Allset app and it was ready on time. I found an empty seat and started eating before realizing it was more of a table service format than an order then sit fast casual format. Nonetheless they had no problem with me eating there. I got the pyramid village lamb burger (medium well) on a brioche bun. It had a much lighter feel to it than a traditional hamburger, but was heavier than a turkey burger. The burger had a good moisture level as it wasn't dripping with oil/juices, but wasn't dry either. The goat cheese and tzatziki combo worked well and did make it feel like eating a gyro in a burger format. The green peppers were a nice addition that added a fresh light taste to the burger overall. The brioche bun was average as I've had other brioche buns that were softer and more buttery. It was a surprising clean eat as I didn't need many napkins to clean up after finishing my meal. The ginger brew soda was quite satisfying as well. It had a strong ginger flavor. You could tell that it was made with the actual ginger and not the artificial stuff. They had some other interesting meats on the menu including bison, boar, elk and ostrich. Looking forward to trying those in the future.

Our little dude chose BV for his birthday lunch. We placed an order over the phone, which the lovely Colin took. We picked up our to-go order and Colin was just so lovely and friendly in person, and hooked us up with extra ketchup (have you met a 6 year old who doesn't like ketchup?!?). We were able to use a Yelp check-in for some free fries, so that was a total score! A+ for the service here, and the large bay windows were wide open on a warm September afternoon. The inside was also very clean. Both my husband and son got the Burger Village beef burger, and I got their black bean burger. Add on some fried pickles (yes, please), our free fries and some yummy side sauces (chipotle ketchup and honey mustard are a must) and we were set. We drove to Belmont Lake to eat our yummy lunch at the park. The entire order was perfect - no mistakes here on our add-ons for our burgers and everything was cooked the way we wanted. The fries were delish and the fried pickles (which I've gotten our son hooked on) were excellent with just the right amount of heat. Both the boys devoured their burger, and my black bean burger was super tasty too. The burgers are really good and quite filling. Our stomachs were full and happy - maybe not the best idea to rent the paddle boats on the lake right after but we had to work off those fries somehow! We love BV and will be back soon!

I am disappointed in myself for not reviewing this place sooner! I have now gone twice, and each time, the experience was second to done! The service is always quick and painless, which I love. The atmosphere is very rustic and family-friendly for a burger joint. There's also signs everywhere about their commitment to using quality ingredients. Finally, the food! There is such a variety of burgers and fixings, but whatever you choose, you will not go wrong. My cousin is a meat eater and I'm plant based and yet there are so many options for either diet. For meat options, I believe there's options such as bison, elk, ostrich, and more. For plant based options, there are options such as black bean patties, impossible patties, and beyond burger patties and more. You can add sauces, sides, and apps oh my! They even have a happy hour Monday through Thursday 3-7pm. Seriously, this has become our staple burger place, and that means a lot. As a food reviewer , I not usually go to the same place twice and would rather try new things. But why would I ever pass up on this gem? Everyone needs to try it! Thank you, Burger Village, for your commitment to excellence.

Came in and ordered a bunch of stuff to go, fries (both reg and sweet were nothing to write home about) :( ... Got the Elk, Boar, and Ostrich Burgers all cooked perfect and very good but where there's was supposed to be lettuce tomato there wasn't, where there was supposed to be no onions there was , I ordered 2 chix sandwiches , was charged amd received 2 grilled cheese sandwiches so unfortunately the order was put in wrong , which sorry for a burger place ? Simple instructions like condiments shouldn't be issue and at $15++/burger that should be a given. So overall food was good, not awesome but good but ordering left something to be desired

The night was bingo night but that aside we had a good time. You can eat both inside and outside. The outside offers seating in front and back. I'm a big outdoor seating person so we ate outdoors. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad. The vegetables refresh, they gave you a ton of variety of berries, and the overall size was terrific.

At first I was somewhat bummed we missed the DJ night on Friday and Sunday brunch but one of the coworkers said "you came on a good day, Achilleas is your waiter." He continued to impress us from remembering our whole party's names, orders and all small facts about each individual one of us. He kept us laughing so hard that even my friend suggested they advertise "Achilleas Night" on the front door. If you're curious, follow his instagram @theothersideofgreece - him and his wife have their own travel company. Now to talk about the amazing food... to begin, if you didn't order the French Toast Sticks for an appetizer, YA DONE MESSED UPPP!! Go back, and order two of them, maybe three (it's 6 huge pieces each - not the time to count calories) ! I don't do French toast but I'd never go against the crew and I'm glad I didn't pick this day to waver. They were perfectly sweet, crunchy, warm & doughy . Then just when I thought we were done, Achilleas slides out with two complimentary desserts, one for me (birthday) and another for my two friends that had a big engagement that we are still celebrating! The complimentary cake was surprisingly delicious. It was vanilla birthday cake served warm with a scoop of ice cream, sprinkles and whip cream and my mouth is still watering over it. Needless to say, we're all looking for reasons to get together on an Achilleas night again.

That's the kind of place you'll want to linger long after your plate is empty. We had French Onion Soup, and it was everything you want from a classic. Rich, deeply caramelized onion broth with incredible savory flavor, topped with a toasted baguette that soaked up just enough broth while still keeping a little bite. The bubbling layer of melted mozzarella and Swiss stretched with every spoonful. There was a flavor I couldn't place, but had me thinking herbaceous Italian seasonings, which isn't typically the flavor profile of French onion soup, gave it a unique flavor and made every bite more irresistible. The Asian Chicken Salad was anything but ordinary. Crisp romaine and crunchy red cabbage were tossed with tender grilled chicken, crunchy cashews, and fresh scallions. We got the sesame ginger vinaigrette on the side, which struck the perfect balance of nutty, tangy, and slightly sweet. Every forkful had a fresh crunch followed by a burst of bright, savory flavor that kept us coming back for another bite. The Chicken Taco Salad arrived in a crispy tortilla shell that was almost too pretty to break into, but we're glad we did. Juicy marinated chicken, creamy avocado, fresh pico de gallo, sweet corn and black bean salsa, chopped greens, and a generous blend of Mexican cheeses were all tied together with a smoky chipotle-lime vinaigrette. My brother has always wanted to try this place, but we never had a chance to actually step foot inside the Library Cafe. As the name suggests, the restaurant sits at the site of the old town library, and the bar area has tall shelves and a rolling ladder to pay homage to the name. To maximize the restaurant week menu, three of us tried different appetizers. The ahi tuna taco was the best of the lot- crispy shell and nicely prepared tuna filling. The Thai calamari was a little too overcooked and the sweet sauce was cloying. I didn't get to try too much of the French onion soup because my dad almost inhaled it whole, but it was gooey and comforting. I had the honey-soy glazed salmon with broccolini. The salmon was a little dry, but the glaze and cashew went well with it. Maybe a touch of spice could have improved the dish. The broccolini was nicely textured and not too bitter. My mom's fish and chips were underwhelming, though the not-proper "chips" were well fried and seasoned. It was not served with vinegar either. My brother had the Buddha bowl which he enjoyed and felt was a good health conscious option. I did love that they allowed my dad -- who was not feeling too well-- to order just an entree while the rest of the table had the restaurant week menu. I know some restaurants require all members of the table to order off the prix fixe menu sometimes. He had the burger, which was cooked very precisely to medium-rare. We did have dessert though we were stuffed at this point. The sticky toffee pudding cake was lovely, moist, and so decadent without being overly heavy. I ordered the wild berry cheesecake, and while the clearly house made berry compote was a nice touch, it was just a little underwhelming next to the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, we had a good time at the Library Cafe, and though service was a little slow due to sudden rush of diners, it was a fun little weekday dinner. I did see signs for their happy hour, which I'd love to try-- especially their cocktails named after writers!
