Daniel is wonderful! I am a tenant in a home in Antioch. I had called my landlord because the old thermostat seemed to be on the fritz, and then we got an out of control pg&e bill.... He gave me the go-ahead to contact a repair company and chose Energy Solutions. I called and left a message and honestly didn't expect to hear back from anyone for a while... it's triple digit heat this week! Daniel called me back in about 10 minutes and said he was in the neighborhood and could be here in about 30 minutes.... and he was! He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, heard me out about my concerns, called the landlord and was off and running on the repairs in no time at all. He showed up just before 1pm and left a few minutes after 3pm after making a run for parts, installing a new thermostat in the hallway, cleaning out the intake unit on the side yard and putting in a new grate and filter system in the main intake in the house... there isn't even a speak of sawdust where he had to cut the wall! He called the landlord on the way out and handled the bill directly with him. I even got a quick lesson on the new thermostat and he set it for me before he left. Thank you Daniel!! Our air conditioning went out for a couple days and so my grandmother called around to a few places that were booked out about three weeks. We have someone in a wheelchair so we couldn't go that long. She called another place that was willing to come out same day, so we were a little skeptical. When I was looking at the reviews online for that company they didn't seem to have good ratings. They were going to charge us $80 something just to come out and look at it, and the other customers online said they charge a lot and woulld probably try to sell us useless crap, so I looked around some more. I came across 'Energy Solutions' and gave Dan a call. Not only did he have good reviews, but he also was willing to come by same day before even knowing about our family situation. He said that he would only charge $60 and it would be included in the price to fix it. He came out within a few hours and had everything fixed and up in running in less then 30 minutes and it only cost $150. I would recommend Dan to anyone! Thanks for your help man! Updating this as Energy Solutions doesn't seem to provide any post-installation service. I tried to get them to come out at the 1-year anniversary in Oct 2019 for a regular check-up to keep the warranty valid, but Dan didn't want to do it. He said check-ups that soon after install are unnecessary, and they'd deal with the warranty paperwork if it was ever needed. I then tried to schedule a regular check-up summer 2022, and couldn't even get anyone at Energy Solutions to answer the phone. I called a couple times and it either went to voicemail (I left one) or the person answered then immediately hung up. It honestly seems like Dan saved me in his contact list as a "do not answer" number. So, now I have no confidence in being able to get warranty work done on my system if anything breaks. read more

We have a relatively new furnace that needed to be replaced during the summer heat. AC worked perfectly. Come fall the heater had rocky start. A couple of techs came out and the first time it seems like a fuse was burnt out so they replaced it and it worked for a few hours. They sent someone else out a couple of days later and he couldn't figure out the issue and needed to escalate it. A few days later they sent out Daniel who was knowledgeable, professional, explained what he thought might be the issue in great detail yet in a way that I could understand. Really nice guy. For the last 6 months I have been receiving unwanted phone calls from California Energy Solutions. I've asked time and again for you to remove my phone number from you calling list, to no avail. Additionally, my phone recording asks telemarketers not to call. CAS must be pretty hard up to continue badgering me when I have kindly asked you not to do so. Obviously, you also ignore the national no-call list. I will never do business with you and I will discourage any discussion of you as a vendor. I contacted Dan about replacing my Air Conditioner and Heater, which were the originals units with the house I bought 22 years ago. The AC definitely needed to be replace. Dan inspected the Heater and said it was in good shape and did not need to be replaced, which saved me a lot of money. Obviously, he is honest and doesn't want to price gouge the customer. The AC arrived on time and he and his crew installed it in a few hours. There were no hidden costs, and it came with a 10-year warranty on parts and labor.
