The Spicy Pork hot stone was yummy. the portion was pretty big, the pork was flavorful and the jalapeños were spicy. This is a fun Korean owned sushi place with a nice layout and ambiance. The seats have seat cushions but doesn't really add that much comfort to the seats lol. A little slow and the various servers that came to help was fine but add for miscommunication and inconsistency with ordering (I had ordered appetizers with one waitress before the main order and she didn't put the order in but wasn't confirmed until we got most of our main order and it was missing). The spicy tuna with the nice crunchiness of the shrimp tempura was great. The shrimp tempura had like a "bang bang shrimp" vibe, good flavor and crunch 4.5/5 The crab roll was good, a little small with the filling but decent flavor and was good 3.5/5 Now for the sushi, salmon belly, otorro (tuna belly), and yellow tail belly. The star of the show was definitely the otorro, perfectly melted in your mouth goodness, topped with some caviar was amazing, I should've just ordered 4 of them and nothing else. 5/5 The yellowtail belly sushi wasn't as tender but still good, had like a lemon/yuzu glaze over it that added nice flavor to the nigiri! 3.8/5 The salmon belly, same, wasn't as tender as I'd hope but still good, the caviar on top kind of overpowered the salmon, but still good, but not sure how I felt about it at the end of the day. Overall, good but not amazing. 3.8/5 Lastly was the tornado shrimp tempura, which was fun and different, like a French fry wrapped around a shrimp tempura! There were so many nice touches that I was in awe the whole time I was here. The english pop music kind of takes me out of it but that's okay! The greens were refreshing for my mom and she has been in desperate need of fresh greens. Volcano Roll - Without the wasabi mayo. My mom said the prawn and scallop bits tasted good and still juicy. It didn't feel too dry and she loved how creamy the roll was. I feel like she would have loved the scallop sushi even more but she's always worried about raw fish with her stomach. Fried Corn - It was good and for someone else, it would probably be great! It wasn't for me because I personally ended up getting sick of it two bites in. Both were pretty good, but I enjoyed the Yellow Rose a bit more. The Lemon salmon was decent but if you plan on eating the lemon with the rolls, be prepared to pick out all the seeds. Fumi Sushi Set this was a pricey sushi set with 8 pieces of nigiri and a 6 piece tuna roll. especially considering the price, i wish it had come with some miso soup or tempura. i think it would make the meal more satisfying, filling, and worth the cost, but otherwise the fish was fresh and it wasn't too rice heavy. Udon with Mixed Tempura Set this tempura was delicious. the oil didn't taste the freshest but the veggie tempura was soft and the cuts and breading weren't too thick. the udon was enjoyable but nothing notable. we did want soup with our sushi so this hit the spot. Bluefin Tuna Trio quite expensive for 3 pieces of nigiri, but this trio was delicious. the fish was so soft and it did feel very fancy. Snow White Roll i'm usually a bit skeptical of rolls, but this roll was delicious. it had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab meat, and avocado inside with soy paper wrapped outside. you could taste the fish and each piece felt hearty. it doesn't come with a lot, though so this would not be filling on its own. read more

I went during lunch time and I didn't realize they have a lunch special. It's Monday through Friday but definitely check it out if you can! My dad and I went and we shared the premium sashimi dish ($70 at the time of review) but comes with 24 pieces of sashimi. I got a lunch chirashi ($18) and the eel rice dish (forgot what it's called but it was $19). Best deal hands down was the chirashi. It was a decent portion and all the fish tasted fresh and so very tasty! The sashimi was great too, but at almost 4x the cost of the lunch chirashi, I'd probably get 2 chirashi instead. However, the fishes were all great and tasty. I wish they gave a tad more "premium" items. It came with a sweet shrimp and uni for the premium items. No toro though. Service was not good. It was slow and hard to get the attention of the servers.
