Really unique Hawaiian Filipino fusion, you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. The beef inihaw plate is absolutely the best thing on the menu, super flavorful and tender; I would order this same dish every visit! The macaroni salad had a bit more mayonnaise than I would prefer and after a few bites it gets too 'rich'. The crispy pusit has been "out of stock" for over a month. To avoid confusion, it may be best to remove or cover this from their menu temporarily.. The overall experience was very good and I would definitely go back again to sample more of their menu.
Wow! I've lived in the area for 5 years and this was my first time trying it -- I'm so glad I did. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was busy. There are about 14 tables inside, and it's an order-at-the-counter type of place where they bring the food to your table. When we ordered there weren't any tables open except a small two-person counter table in the corner. It felt a little cramped, but we made it work. The food came out in about 10 minutes, and when it hit the table we were surprised by the massive portions. We definitely took a lot home. The meat in every dish was super tender and fresh. I'd recommend everything we ordered: the 808 plate, garlic noodles, mango refresher, mochi cake, and the sea salt caramel coffee. We'll definitely be back!
This place have been on my list for a while now and I finally had the chance to try. This is a solid 4 star. There is a parking lot so it shouldn't be a trouble to find parking. You order at the counter and the food will come out when ready. You bus your own table and the utensils and condiments are at a designated table. It was steady when we came so not too busy. Foodwise: 808 mix plate 4.5/5: it was a big plate that can easily feed 2 people. You have the option of adding on ribs if you choose for additional cost. We got half pork ribs and half beef ribs. The beef ribs was a little disappointing, not enough meat, not tender. Pork ribs were good. Fried shrimp and lumpia and spam was good. The rice and Mac salad help balance out the sauce from the meat. Chicken adobo 5/5: this was a really good dish for a good price. You get 3 pieces of huge thigh + rice, Mac salad and salad. Flavorful and tender. Pandan crusher halo halo 5/5: yummy. What you would expect and it would be perfect for a hot day. Halaya enseamada 2.5/5: I was pretty Disappointed with this one since the name of the restaurant was of this bread. The bread though was very very dry. The flavor was good but the dryness was very overpowering Overall, a solid place and I'm glad they opened a second location closer to me. I definitely would be back when I'm craving a good home cook meal
We visited Enseamada Cafe again recently for a weekday dinner to try some more of their specialties. It wasn't too busy when we arrived at 6PM. The entire restaurant smelled of sugar and dough as they had just baked a fresh batch of malasadas! Of course had to buy one as well, along with the massive amount of food... Ube Pancakes w/ Macadamia ($13.50) - Two thick and fluffy pancakes sit in essentially a vat of ube cream. The pancakes are excellent - soft and fluffy with a bit of a bounce to them. My wife commented that she thought they might have added rice flour to contribute to the almost mochi-like texture. The pancakes are a deep purple color but only have the slightest ube flavor. The real meat of the ube comes in the cream sauce. They give a ton, enough to almost completely cover the pancakes in the bowl. It's thick and creamy and full of earthy ube flavor. While the pancakes soak in the cream they don't become soggy at all. We opted to pay $1.50 extra for the macadamia nuts. They are crushed and slightly salted contributing more flavor and crunch. In the future I would never order the pancakes without the nuts. The pancakes really are excellent. I liked them way more than the more famous Ludi's downtown. (5/5) Garlic Noodles w/ Lechon ($20) - I thought this would be similar to the garlic noodles found most famously in SF but these are completely different. They don't have much garlic flavor at all; instead the dish tastes kind of like generic Chinese lo mein complete with a slightly sweet soy sauce enveloping the noodles. For an extra $10 I added the Lechon which they are pretty generous with. Tons of crunchy meat bits strewn all around the top, fatty and delicious. (4/5) Adobo Bowl ($14.95) - This is a well arranged plate with two small scoops of rice, almost vestigial given the amount of meat, a base of mac salad topped with greens, and two entire tender chicken thighs marinated in adobo seasoning. The macaroni still has a bit of a bite so it's not too overcooked and is mixed in a really creamy and somewhat watery sauce with plenty of veggies mixed! The thighs are tender, slightly sweet, tangy and savory in flavor. I'm not 100% certain that the thighs are actually stewed/simmered because there's not any liquid base included and the exterior of the chicken is dry. It's not the best adobo I've eaten, but they are pretty generous with the portion size. (4/5) Surprisingly, my favorite thing in the restaurant is their green sauce found at the condiment counter. It's so fresh tasting, very cilantro forward with plenty of fish sauce umami. I was told they make it fresh every morning and was encouraged to take more since it was near the end of the day and they would have to throw it out! Enseamada Cafe is very generous with portion size, especially in terms of protein. We ended up finishing maybe only 1/3 of the food we ordered, took the rest home and ate with more veggies and rice over the next couple of days. It's definitely worth the money, although I question how nutritionally balanced the dishes are! Bathrooms: Single unisex room
First visit, this place is located in a strip mall area. I was planning on eating inside for lunch, but it was so freezing cold inside that I ended up getting the order to go. Unfortunately, their selection of drinks were virtually all high sugared options, they didn't even sell bottled water (yet they had a little container with courtesy water for guest dining in). I ordered the Hurricane Chicken and it was excellent, and the drizzle of spicy mayo made it the bomb! Side of rice was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor; the Mac salad was creamy and very tasty.
Enseamada Cafe is an absolute gem in Everett! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly fast and so genuinely friendly--the staff greeted us with warm smiles, took our order quickly, and everything came out piping hot in no time. It felt like they really cared about making our visit special. The food? Mind-blowingly amazing. The ube pancakes are pure decadence--fluffy, perfectly infused with that vibrant ube flavor, topped with a luscious ube cream sauce that's rich without being overly sweet. It's the ideal balance of indulgent and just-right, and I could eat them every day! We also got the sisig, and wow--the portions of pork belly are seriously generous. Tender, crispy-edged pieces loaded with that signature tangy, savory goodness. It was hearty and flavorful, easily enough to share. And the fried chicken? The sauces that come with it elevate it to another level--perfectly crispy chicken paired with dipping sauces that add just the right kick and depth. Every bite was packed with island-inspired flavor. This spot nails it on taste, portion size, and hospitality. If you're anywhere near Everett, do yourself a favor and go--it's worth every star! Honestly thought I'd left a review ages ago. Enseamada is one of my hidden gems I recommend up north. Casual location, ample parking with a nice plaza, and delicious food plus dessert. Hard to beat simplicity. A bit pricey at first glance but proportional to the quantity. Large portions, ube items, and halo halo are a huge selling point, getting dessert while here is convenient. Pipikaula Ribs - their plates are comforting and filling. Not a fan of the BBQ ribs on the inihaw plate because there's too much sauce (though I know people love sauce), so these ribs are amazing. Salty, savory, and juicy. Meat is tender and majority falls off the bone easily. Mac is tasty, creamy, and not too saucy.
Cute cafe style Filipino/Hawaiian fusion restaurant, seat yourself, bust your own table type of vibe with limited staff interaction. One thing I loved to see when I walked in was multiple Filipino families sitting around the table, very good sign that the food was good. I ordered the Kara Kara, very generous portion and the peanut sauce paired so well with the crispy Kara Kara and veggies. My cousin ordered the 808 and loved the ribs, we both had leftovers to take home. Seen some reviews about their ube so we opted for the mango halo halo which was very good! If you're in the area definitely check them out!
Super delicious Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant with crazy delicious food. The food are a fusion of Filipino favorites like Sisig, Lechon, Kare-kare with island favorites like garlic shrimp, bbq chicken (which taste like huli-huli chicken, served with rice, salad and Mac salad. The Pandan crush halo-halo is also superb and feels different than traditional halo-halo but in a good way. Portions are quite large for the price, so definitely good value for what you pay. Service is quite fast too. Definitely would come back to try the rest of their dishes. For reference, we ordered crispy pork belly bites, sisig bowl, grilled garlic pork belly bowl, 808 plate with bbq chicken & pandan crush halo-halo. Two thumbs up, way up!
The food and the drinks are incredible! The drinks are so creative and decorated, layered with yummy surprises. You can tell they take their time to make sure everything tastes AND looks delicious! I got the mango halo halo drink, a coconut refresher (it's like coconut water but better) and pipikalua rib plate. I also got the mango tres leches but haven't tried it yet. It's so hard to find good tres leches so I'm looking forward to it!! The ribs have fish sauce which gives off a fishy smell but the taste is right on point. The restaurant was packed full, so I took my food to go. They even wrapped our drinks in saran wrap So they wouldn't spill in the car! So so happy I found this place!!
Visited Enseamada Cafe with a couple friends for lunch after years of wanting to go and it did not disappoint! First off, the interior is super cute. You seat yourself and order at the front counter. The place is a bit smaller than expected so you may have to wait on a busier day. Food wise, there was not a single thing I didn't enjoy, but I absolutely loved their sweets and I'm usually not a sweet person! The Ube Pancakes and Ube Halo Halo were hits in my book. I also loved how they cooked their lechon. The skin was soo crispy and the meat was still tender. I'm definitely coming back and I hope to try other menu items.
Stopped in for their brunch to finally try their famous ube pancakes and did not disappoint! I was worried it might be too sweet but it was just the right amount. Pancakes were thicccc and soak up the sauce beautifully, the macadamia nuts are the perfect crunchy topping. My husband got the longanisa plate and subbed for adobo rice.. 10/10 no notes. We rarely indulge in heavy Filipino breakfast that put you in a comatose right after these days but this was sooo worth it. I highly recommend yall come in during brunch on the weekends!

Wowowowow. This might be my new favorite spot! It's a Filipino Hawaiian fusion place and super adorable spot. Everything was delicious- from the Sissig (super crispy) and huge beef ribs. The portions are also HUGE. We loved the lumpia and the ube pancakes were also delicious. I wish I had more room to try some of their desserts like the halo halo - next time! I took home a tub of mango tapioca pudding (so tasty) and the enseamadas (loved them!) The service was also so friendly- our ube pancakes were a bit delayed so one of the owners gave us a free enseamada! Highly recommend and already can't wait to go back! read more
Enseamada Cafe is a Filipino/Hawaiian fusion gem! It's tucked away in a little plaza up in Everett, but boy oh boy is this place worth the trip! The restaurant is nicely decorated with a lot of natural lighting. I went for dinner the two times I went, and the restaurant was packed both times. Fortunately their service is super quick, so I had my food in less than five minutes and was able to find some seating. If too busy, you can certainly take the food to a park nearby and eat it there! Onto the food! I was flabbergasted by the PORTIONS! You can easily share one entree and a halo halo between two people and be perfectly content. As for the taste, I got both the Sizzling Sisig and the 808 Combo Plate. The beef ribs were certainly the highlight of the show. The meat was succulent and fairly flavorful. As you try any of their food, you'll consistently find that pretty much every thing packs some strong flavors without feeling too salty. Last but not least, the Halo Halo is a must have. Wrapping your meal up with one of these desserts is the only way to do it. The flavors really pop out at you and is certainly refreshing as you get the soft serve and a beverage combo all in one All I all, highly recommend the restaurant! YUM! You are missing out if you don't check out this place. Location: in Evergreen Center so there's plenty of parking. Ambiance: cute interior. It's clean, well lit and inviting. Playing good music! I got my order to go but wow this place smells amazing! I got the 808 mix plate so I could try a lil bit of everything. No complaints here! Everything was delicious and very filling. Location: little busy strip mall. Not hard to find, parking moderate busy. Aesthetics: cute place, small and cozy. Price: 5 entrees and a halo drink (dessert?) came out to $115 (including a $10 tip) Food Quality: I had high hopes and drove 30 mins to try this place out. I will say its average. They have a nice tangy sauce they put on ribs but outside of that nothing special. Overall Opinion: Def. Not worth the drive and paying $20 in gas to eat decent food. read more

Great spot for Filipino food!! If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth the visit. The food was delicious, and portions were big too. The menu is pretty small, but still difficult to choose from since everything looked so good. I got the 808 mix plate with beef ribs and split the ube pancakes. The 808 plate had so much food and it was a great way to try a mix of various items! The bbq ribs were big, and I liked the bbq sauce. I was only able to finish half this plate and packed the rest home. And the ube pancakes were amazing!!! There was so much ube sauce and it had the rich sweet ube flavor. The server recommended adding macadamia nuts to it and it really took it over the top! Looks like the halo halo is good too, but we were too full to try it. Was hoping to give five stars but the tastes were just not what everyone said. We ordered the 808 super plate that costs a few dollars more but you get all three meats - beef rib, pork rib, and chicken. All have the same sauce but for some reason the beef and chicken didn't taste very tasty. The pork rib was good, especially with the added green hot sauce. "Lumpia" were tiny. Mac salad was a bit runny for my liking. Rice was a little dried but passable. To me, the best part was the ube coffee- tasted like Vietnamese coffee with one sweet cream. Strong but good. Just not the hype Yelpers have made it to be. Good but not worth driving the distance for. read more
Probably my first foray into Filipino food, and it was definitely different in a good way! I got the Crispy Sizzling Sisig and it lived up to its name. Served in a sizzling pan, you can eat the meat immediately but be careful. The rice had nice seasoning & the soft-boiled egg was cooked perfectly. Tucked in a small plaza, Enseamada Cafe is dishing out some great food and fantastically awesome desserts! I wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for my foodie friend from Vancouver, Canada. Now, getting good Filipino food isn't hard, but one that sells Mais Con Yelo (sweet corn shaved ice) dessert is almost impossible. The menu is 7 items, with 3 side items, ranging from $8 - $21. Some of the more popular items like the Ube Pancake and the 808 Mix Plate are great for sharing and will leave your stomach very happy. The desserts are really the show stopper in my opinion. The Shaved Ice desserts while a bit pricey are definitely worth it, at $12 a cup. What we ordered: 808 Mix Plate $20.95 Crispy Pork Belly Bites $10 Mais Con Yelo/ Halo-Halo $11.99 The 808 Mix Plate come with your choice of protein (BBQ beef ribs, BBQ pork ribs, or Tofu), macaroni salad, deep fried butter flied shrimp, lumpia and rice. We got the beef rib, which was fall off the bone tender and smothered in a sweet BBQ sauce. Sharing this plate makes sense, since it came with 2 scoops/pieces of everything. The Crispy Pork Belly Bites were good, yet I wished the pork chunks were larger. On the side table they have condiments and water which you can help yourself too. DO get the green sauce if you see it! Its like a chimichurri sauce which brightened, tasted refreshing and cut the greasiness. If you're not into cilantro then maybe pass on it. Now, lets talk about the Halo-Halo Desserts. If you're unsure of what it is, its a dessert with mixed fruits, jellies, beans, tapioca pearls, coconut milk, over shaved ice and served with ice cream. Earlier this year Enseamada Cafe had introduced a their Halo- Halo Series, featuring the classic original Halo-Halo, Mango, Banana, Corn, Ube, and Pandan. The Corn con Yelo/ Halo-halo, was filled with sweet corn, perhaps some condensed milk, shaved ice, soft-serve and corn flakes. Simple yet delicious! 10/10 would recommend! If not corn then do try any of the other flavours! Its one of the best ways to beat the heat and enjoy a cool treat! I can't wait to go back up and try some more of their menu items! If you want a place that serves big portions and tasty Filipino food, then look no further because this place will give you a bang for your buck. Their place has easy parking, but limited seating inside. When we arrived there was already a line forming, so some of us lined up while I saved seats. Service here is great. You pick up your food once your order is called and put away your own trays. The ambiance of the place is a very cute Hawaiian/Filipino influence. Next time we come to visit we definitely want to try the halo halo here! Ube sweet cream iced coffee - yummy balance of the sweetness from the ube and the bitterness of the coffee. Ube Pancakes - had a nice balance of the ube, nuttiness, and sweetness. Really loved the nutty crunch of the macadamia nuts on top of the pancake. Crispy Sigsig -the sigsig was a little dry and over cooked. However, the garlic and furikake flavor was present and the skin was crispy which made the dish flavorful. The egg was also over cooked too, but the flavor was still there. 808 mix plate - got the pork bbq ribs and it was a nice balance of my sweetness and savory bbq flavor. So we ordered take out here and I wanted to give them another chance and see if any other items on their menu held true to Filipino flavors as a dish. I ordered the BBQed pork with high hopes, and came out disappointed. This BBQ pork is a Chinese version of BBQ pork, not a Filipino version. Having ordered here twice the food seems to be anything but authentic Filipino food. BBQ Pork would have been one of the easier ones to actually create that flavor most filipinos would be looking for but you will be disappointed. It was also tough that I just threw out half of it. I asked my colleagues what they thought and their comments were not stellar. For Filipinos looking for authentic Filipino food, this is not your stop. Look elsewhere. If you want adulterated Filipino food, then this place would suit you well. An example is their "Sisig". Sisig is a verb originally from pampamga and is in their dictionary as to "eat something sour". This place's sisig, one is not sour. It also has mayonnaise which makes it a dish called dinakdakan. If sisig has egg, it's called an omelette. This place has both mayonnaise and egg. read more
Their Ube Halo-Halo showed up in my IG feed and I decided to check it out since it's only about 25 mins away from me by car. I went on Saturday morning, got there at about 11:45am and their cafe was already packed, and there's a wait for tables! Good thing I was planning to order to go. You'd order and pay at the counter and then you'll get a number so that the food can be served to your table. I initially wanted the Ube Halo-Halo but after checking their menu, I ended up adding Chicken Adobo and Garlic Noodles with Chicken BBQ. I waited about 30 mins and my to-go order was ready! The UBE Halo-Halo was so pretty haha and I had to eat some of the ice cream on top because it might melt while driving back home. It's delicious! Not too sweet (for me!). Not sure if the food was pricey but they give generous amount of food. The Garlic Noodles, I can only taste a bit of garlic, I was hoping for a stronger garlic taste (I love garlic noodles and I make one myself!). I should've not added the BBQ because they gave pretty good portion of the noodles- good enough for 2 people! So I saved the 3 pieces of chicken bbq for tomorrow (and I ate it the next day, it tasted like the actual Pinoy-style bbq I'm used to!). The Chicken Adobo came with salad, rice, and mac. It's pretty decent (big servings), but I had better adobos. Not sure about the mac being paired with adobo, kinda reminds me of L&L Hawaiian BBQ. But the mac was pretty good! I just wish that they think of a better pairing. Overall, I would come back for the Ube Halo-Halo! read more
Located all the way up north in Everett, this place serves up some nice Filipino inspired dishes. There is a decent Filipino brunch spot in Downtown Seattle and all the way in Auburn, so to cover the north side, this place does it well. I went here with a friend for Friday brunch / lunch, and shared the ube pancakes with macadamia nut add-on, 808 mixed plate with beef BBQ ribs, and garlic noodles with garlic shrimp. I also got the coffee with ube sweet cream. The ube pancakes have great ube flavor and the sauce is not too sweet, which is my favorite level of sweetness. Despite a slightly watery texture of the sauce, the pancakes soak the sauce well and were not soggy afterwards. The garlic noodles were good with the shrimp which was quite fresh. The garlic flavor is more subtle compared to other garlic noodles I have had in Cajun seafood restaurants and modern Asian restaurants, but it was still fairly satisfying. I would rather do a more Filipino inspired dish if I visit again, like the sisig, instead of this one. The 808 plate has a little bit of everything to try, and is highly recommended if you just go solo, since the variety is there. They have lumpia, fried spam, and crispy shrimp along with choice of meat (which we got the beef BBQ ribs for $3 surcharge) and rice, salad, and mac salad. The lumpia and fried spam were a bit on the dry side, but the beef ribs were so tender and flavorful, almost fall off the bone texture. We paid a total of $62 approximately for 2 people, but the portions are huge so the amount of food is enough for 1 gigantic meal or 2 satisfying meals per person, so it is somewhat fair. For 2 people, 2 dishes is sufficient, but we just ordered more to try more stuff in general. read more
My bf and I were going to be in Everett, so I was looking up places we could eat. I saw this place, and we were both excited. I really wanted to try the sisig, and have been wanting it for a while. It's been some time since I've had some, and was excited all night to grab lunch here the next day. My bf went to go pick up the food, and asked the cashier what the difference was between the Crispy Sizzling Sisig and the Sisig Bowl. She said the Crispy Sizzling Sisig came with a fried egg, so he said he wanted that one. She repeated him, and asked, "so you want the one with the egg?" He said, yes. When he brought the food back, there was no sisig. She rang him up for the Adobo Bowl, and that's what I got instead. So, I was very disappointed, especially since I had been excitedly waiting to try the sisig since the day before. We were not going to do a 45 minute round trip to fix this, and we were both already getting hangry. I ate one piece of the adobo chicken, and it wasn't bad, but it would've been one of the last things I would order. Luckily, my bf got me some lumpia. That was pretty good, and I ate all of that. My bf enjoyed his Pipikuala Ribs. And the Cheesy Adobo roll was good, too. read more

10/10 recommend. The restaurants decor is so cute. I felt like I walked into a little bungalow shop on an island. The staff was friendly and the food came out extremely fast. Ordered the adobo chicken bowl and the garlic noodles with shrimp. Between the two plates, there was enough to eat off for 3-4 meals. Noodles we're cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The mac salad that came with the adobo chicken was probably some of the best I've ever had. The adobo chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. Loved visiting this place and can't wait so spot by again soon. read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now but they're closed on Sundays and Mondays, so I had to find the right day to go. Let me tell ya - the wait was worth it! The 2 of us spent around $80 after tip and tax, but we had enough to take about half of our meal home for dinner later! We got 2 ube coffees which were strong but just the right amount of sweetness for my Asian tastebuds. For food we ordered ube pancakes, 808 mix plate with beef, and sizzling sisig. Everything was delicious and all well seasoned! The sisig was both our favorites because the rice was a bit crunchy and the sisig was probably the closest to what we've had in the Philippines. The beef bones from the 808 plate were tender and marinated perfectly, with just the right amount of char. I'm not a big sweets person so I didn't think I'd like the ube pancakes, but these weren't too sweet and made a perfect dessert for after our meal! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu (I'll definitely get halo halo next time too)! read more

Decided to stop by on my way home since I happened to be passing by during lunch. A friend had said she tried to come for dinner once and they were out of a handful of the things she wanted to try. I ordered the mix plate with beef (not pictured) and the ube halo halo. The mix plate was really good - there were two hefty beef ribs lathered in a sweet barbecuey sauce, rice with furikake, fried shrimp, a slice of spam, lumpia, mac salad, and a regular side salad. I wouldn't say I was starving going into the meal but you'd think I was based on how fast I inhaled all of it. I even started off snacking on the halo halo while I waited for the food. That halo halo though. DE-LISH. The ube ice cream was creamy and melted down into the icy slush below, which also mixed in with the fruity jellies at the bottom. Those frost corn flakes added a nice sweet crunch and the bit of cake at the top was phenomenal. That really hit the spot and I could easily see myself getting that quite often. First time at an official Philippine restaurant. Good simple atmosphere with very outgoing staff. Place was clean, neat, and well kept. My friend loved the Garlic noodles. The Bbq was good but sweeter than we were expecting. Chicken and pork ribs were spot on, beef rib was tasty but not much on the bone. They offered a homemade green pesto like sauce that gave a good fresh kick and really made the meal. Lumpia was homemade and excellent. Not a huge fan of the mac salad that came with most dishes. I've been to this place multiple times now.. love their dishes and unique flavors. I had to review my most recent visit.. not a big fan of their beef and pork ribs. We spent almost $20 for our meal to ribs with barely even meat on them. It was so disappointing and this happened at our last visit as well. I know it's insta-worthy to take a pic of their huge rib bone but don't let that bone fool you... definitely lacks in volume of meat and you still feel hungry after. Enseamada needs to revaluate this issue and we deserve more meat for the price we pay. Other than that.. halo halo was still amazing and ensaymada was delicious. read more

Anywhere I can find Filipino food in the Seattle area, I'm down, especially because there's not nearly enough of it around. So when I learned there was Enseamada Cafe near where we were for an event, we wanted to check it out for a late lunch. Located in Everett, Enseamada Cafe is in a small business strip that can get busy. We visited on a Saturday in the late afternoon, so it was surprising to see how packed Enseamada Cafe was since it wasn't during a prime lunch or dinner hour, but somewhere in between. The place is popular! You order and pay at the counter first and then pick a seat. When we visited, the entire place was full, so after we ordered, we had to wait until a table opened up. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long for just the two of us. However, for a large group, we saw that it was more difficult to snag a table. My partner ordered the beef bulalo soup while I had the sisig plate. We shared the ube halo halo and took home an ube overload ensaymada for later. The food didn't take long to get, and everything was solid. My partner liked his soup, especially the beef broth. My sisig plate was not bad, but wish it had meatier pork pieces than fattier ones. The egg on top was perfectly fried, with the yolk drizzling down once broken into. The pork had more of a sweet flavor to it than a lemon or lime and pepper flavor that I'm used to with sisig, so it's not my favorite. However, the ube halo halo was bomb. All halo halos should have an ube base with a piece of flan on top like this one. I would happily get this again. The ube overload ensaymada was A-OK. I heated it up for 15 seconds like the staff told me to, which helped bring out the sweet flavor. But I thought the bun was mostly dry. Skip the ensaymada and get the flan for dessert, which ran out the day I visited. Overall, Enseamada Cafe is a nice place in Everett with a handful of Filipino classics and desserts to check out. Staff was friendly, food came out fast and the ube halo halo is a win. read more

This is usually my go-to when I'm in Everett. The staff is friendly and it's decorated with lights and plants. I ordered two 808 plates, one with pork and one with beef. Each time I go I swear it's more bone and gristle than meat. However I think I ordered this plate for the last time, it feels like it keeps getting sweeter and sweeter each time I order it. I also ordered one of the specials, the salmon miso soup. It was very similar to sinigang. My partner wasn't a fan of how sour it was but I love a sour soup. One thing to note is that we finished the first plate before we even got our soup. For dessert we got the ube halo halo which is always a staple, there was plenty for each of us to eat and more. I always love their desserts, each time I come I try a new one and that's what keeps me coming back each time! read more

I've been to Enseamada twice for Halo Halo & Lumpia and have had family members bring ensaymadas to family gatherings. I've not yet tried any of the entrees. I'm not a fan of the ensaymadas, not because they're not good, but because it's not "my" type of dessert/snack. However, my Filipino-born family members quite enjoy them. The lumpia is good - a little salty on its own, but good. You get a decent serving size for $9. It pairs well with the dipping sauce. The Halo Halo options are fairly expansive and a great treat for a warm day. This isn't the shaved-ice version, but instead think a mashup up a blizzard meets bubble tea with soft-serve up-top. My favorite(s), to this point, are the Ube-centric options. I've tried Ube with and without Oreo + Mango. The Ube flavor is reminiscent of a slightly-sweeter taro bubble tea with tarp ice cream/soft serve up top. At some point I do plan on trying the plate-style Hawaiian/Filipino inspired dishes. Great customer experience. The entrance of the restaurant is very narrow as it's blocked by an entry way table. Dinning area is decent sized. Food was okay. The drinks were good. Dessert was great! It is a little pricey compared to other Filipino shops with same desserts. read more

This place used to be Pho 36 now they remodeled it and turned it into Philippines or Hawaiian restaurant. The decoration very cute and so bright. This is my first time trying Philippines food but "WOW" super delicious and I felt like not enough lol. Even the size of beef ribs are huge. From the meat to the rice and macaroni, so flavorful nothing bland. The tea and Ube halo halo were good too however need to cook little longer, quite chewy still. I forgive that because it was tasty!! Even they have small menu selections but very tasty and attention to details! Service, 4/5 Food taste, 5/5 Drink taste, 5/5 Cleanliness, 4/5 Definitely coming back for the pastries.. Way too much for my belly!! Guys come and check out this restaurant. I kept seeing videos on Enseamada Cafe pop up on my social media feed for weeks. Every time I saw the videos, my stomach would immediately start grumbling, so I knew it couldn't be long before we went to try it out. When we stopped by, I got the sisig bowl, which totaled to $15. We decided to dine in, because we wanted to eat the food warm and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the dish was. Enseamada Cafe was very generous with their portion sizes, and I had to take home half of it for later. The pork belly was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There was a nice glaze on the pork belly, which made it even more tasty. I liked the variety of sides that came with the dish, ranging from Mac salad, green salad, and rice. There was a sweet sauce on the sides, which paired well with the saltiness of the pork. Having the different sides helped with incorporating a variety textures. All in all, I enjoyed the food here and would love to stop by again in the future! read more
The food here is amazing and totally worth the wait if you get here right when they open! Normally we arrive 15 minutes before they open and can be out the door in 15 mins after opening. Food comes out pretty quickly and everything truly is amazing. The pork ribs are my favorite plus with garlic noodles. All the pastries and desserts are amazing too! read more

Everything was so good! Quick/friendly service. You need to grab your own utensils/bus your own table which is fine but didn't know at first. The 808 mix plate and the ube halo halo was delicious. The adobo bowl came with a lot of chicken, I wish it was a little more sour but that's just my preference. Definitely coming back again! read more
