Pricing is a bit higher than chains BUT it is worth it because you get the vehicle you are promised with no hassle, and you will be dealing directly with human beings that will answer questions you have in a timely manner. There are no hidden fees and they didn't try to gouge me for damage, wear and tear- some rental companies will do this but not these guys. Plus, you're supporting a local business. Highly recommend.

So we called Uber. Then, while waiting in line at the Rapid Rez/Fast Break booth, the lady behind me told me they gave her the wrong car and she had to return to the Rapid Rez booth to have the car reassigned to her. Turns out the same thing happened to me because the lady in the booth sent me to the wrong car. I didn't know it until I was not able to exit the lot. Three cars behind me had to back up so I could return to Rapid Rez booth to stand in the blustery cold again and get the car reassigned to me. When I tried to exit for the second time, the man at the gate told me this car was not assigned to me either. I refused to go back to the Rapid Rez booth, so he personally ran back and corrected the issue. Turns out my Rapid Res rental took over 1 /12 hours! I have been a Rapid Rez member since 2013-- This is totally unacceptable! I rented from this Budget lot one year ago and had no problems so it appears someone needs to be retrained and management needs to pay attention....

    Hello, I want to put this out there, I rented a vehicle from April 04, 2026 thru April 08, 2026…read moreoriginally , the rental company was listed as Europcar od Denver, when arrive at pickup point it was Fox Rental Car Denver. What I received was materially different from what was promised. This is a classic bait and switch situation: the merchant advertised one thing but delivered something else. My credit card was charge initially $200.00 hold until car is return. Agent stated due to winter storm I needed a bigger vehicle (notated there was no snow or storms during my visit), along with told several roads have Tolls, which is only an express lane in which I did not use. When I return the vehicle they electronically sent invoice to my email, when I arrive home I notice a total of $1,333.74 which I did not agree with and does not have any signatures or initials on final statement. I attempted to resolve this directly with the merchant, through their website with no response to date, and called the Denver location and explained what happen, but they refused to correct the issue. Disputed with my credit card company: I filed a dispute with Synchrony Bank on April 13, 2026, explaining that the merchant misrepresented the product/service. Despite providing evidence--including purchase statement from Orbitz, and communication showing the discrepancy--my credit card company denied the dispute. They did not properly consider the evidence I submitted, nor did they provide a clear explanation of how they reached their decision. I believe they failed to follow the protections required under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), which covers charges for goods or services not delivered as agreed. Would like to hear anyone's else's experience and I plea with Fox Car Rental and Synchrony to do the correct thing and credit my account. Thanks and have a good day.

    Our experience with Fox Rent A Car was extremely disappointing from start to finish…read more At pickup, the salesman was very pushy with upselling -- pushing vehicle upgrades, prepaid fuel, and toll coverage. He told me the toll charge was $13, but failed to clearly explain that it was $13 per day, which felt very misleading. What made it worse was that I was asked to initial everything on a digital screen without being shown a clear breakdown of charges. After receiving the printed contract and reviewing it, I was honestly disgusted by how much I had been upsold. The vehicle we rented -- a Nissan Pathfinder -- was substandard and very dirty inside and out. While the car functioned fine for our four-day weekend and got us where we needed to go, the cleanliness and overall condition were unacceptable. Return was smooth, but once again there was an attempt to upsell -- this time offering a $20 charge to take our rental back to the airport. We declined. The shuttle service itself was decent, but the wait time from the airport to the rental facility was extremely long and overcrowded. They eventually had to call for additional buses. Overall, we were very disappointed with the entire experience and will not be using Fox Rentals again.

    Insanely long line here with only about half of the kiosks staffed…read more But despite the long wait I feel like the team did a great job on customer service. They gave me a complementary upgrade to a very cool Ford Expedition, and were knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process. Longer lines, tension between the written word and the action, and a car that was possibly the worst performing car I've driven. The shuttle picked us up quickly, which was great! The driver was nice and helpful. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting, even after doing the online checkin. They needed to verify documents, so there is no benefit to the online checkin, you're in the same line as everyone. Was told I'd be charged a $200 deposit, no problem. Then, they charged a $250 deposit. That would have been ok, I just like to have words and action to match. The car was a standard SUV. The car was such a gutless gas-guzzling SUV. Returning the car was odd. I pulled up and into the line of cars. After 10 minutes, I began to go inside and a worker motioned for me to move the car over to the line next to the one I parked. I moved, he was gone. I just walked around the car and filmed its condition, took pictures of the clean interior, and the full gas level. I went to the bus. So very strange. And, the shuttle driver was great, a nice guy that was very helpful to everyone. The drivers earned the two stars.
