We sat for several minutes with no communication about what was happening with our rental car. When we arrived, there was one individual visible at the location--and when we asked, we were told he was a Driver who just started yesterday. He got up within 10 seconds, came forward to our right, looked out the windows and then went to the restroom. Another 5 minutes and finally two individuals: one male and one female emerged from the back door. There was no professional greeting but we offered we were here for a rental and that we had a reservation. They looked it up and we found out that it was for the Enterprise closer to our auto repair shop but we went forward. (I should say this is our second time here and we weren't impressed then, either but it was better than this experience.) This location is in no hurry to help customers and feels like they are just doing the lowest level of work possible. Since we have found out we can go to an alternative location off Cherry, where we ultimately returned the vehicle, we will do that in the future IF we rent from Enterprise. read more

Went in to get a refund for insurance and charged $250 and the refund was never processed!! Went to this location because I was told by the call center I am able to go to any Enterprise to remove the insurance I purchased with them due to having coverage from my Car Insurance. It was an easy process I let the associate know what I was in for, she did a walk around of the rental to make sure there were no damages. She stated I will be receiving my refund back for the insurance purchased in a few days. I saw a charge on my account for $250 and immediately called Enterprise again. I found out she did not process this and charged me an additional $250. I just got off the phone with Enterprise and they do not know why I was charged that fee. My insurance is paying for this rental so the agent helping me didn't know why I was charged or why my refund my not processed by that associate. I do not recommend this Enterprise location because of this error. read more

I rented a car after having my car stolen on 12/14. Unfortunately my insurance company was such a hassle and kept changing my reservation, messing up the dates, messing up my allowed amount for my rental. From DAY 1, Jocelyn and A.J were so kind to me! They were validating and helpful! I had a slight problem with my rental and those 2 were on it! They never have what you rent. Tried to rent me a compact for same price as standard car. I left to do errands before my trip to give them time to get a car. Still nothing clean when I got back. This past weekend we were involved in a minor fender-bender. Our insurance provider contacted our local Enterprise office, clearing the way for our rental while repairs are completed on our vehicle. Monday morning we receive a call from Enterprise asking if we need a pick-up. Oh, the telephone call BEFORE their facility was scheduled to be open! We had a nice selection of automobiles, both sedans and Sun's. They had everything ready for us. No fuss, no bull, just good service. Nice job, Enterprise! read more

Charged an $800 fee for something we specifically didn't ask for. When you call, they will leave you on hold for hours, and when you finally do get to talk to someone, they say they will reach out to someone higher up to do something but nothing ever happens. When you call to follow up, after being on hold for another few hours, the person you previously spoke to is nowhere to be found and you have to go through the same process all over again. Have been going back and forth with them for over a month now and it is very disappointing. read more

The people were nice and friendly. Picked up the car at 5:30 PM per the contract, I had to return it at 1:30 PM. Why would I leave work early to return a car??? I took the car back the next morning so I didn't have to return it by 130 and they told me that I could've returned it by 530 but the contract doesn't state that. Make sure you know what time the car has to to be back. Enterprise needs to change their contract! Now late to work... Terrible experience read more

I cannot say enough about this place!!!!!!! We always went from enterprise but never this location. Our car was going to the shop. My husband is a big guy and he's severely handicapped he picked up the rental. When we got at home it was too small for him to get in and out of comfortably and he could not get his walker into the backseat. We called and talk to Brandon Stevens the manager explained our situation and within a matter of an hour they had another car for us which was plenty big. No muss no fuss. I am incredibly grateful that Enterprise offered me a great deal on the rental given that I had just been in a car accident. Rajanee and Jazmin (sorry if I messed up the spelling) at the Long Beach location were kind and efficient and provided me with a wonderful rental car. They, and other staff, were also very accommodating each time I called to extend the rental (as I had a hard time finding a new car). The drop-off in Roseville was also very easy and I was incredibly thankful that they accepted my return even though I arrived a little after closing time. It was awesome that I didn't have to return the car at the same location. I'd like to give this location more than two stars but the system here is all out of wack. If people book a reservation for 8 am, that person expect there to be a car ready and waiting for them at 8:00-8:15 the latest. I now have to wait for the poor employees to drive around gathering cars for the day, when in fact enterprise should pay them an hour earlier to do this before the customers are scheduled to arrive. The people are patient and kind, but definitely over worked. It's always the same nice women at the desk and phone, so in no way is it their fault. The company itself, priding themselves on being a "family ran company, in a corporate world" I expect just alittle more organization from the upper devision because the system they have for the employees creates a hard situation with the customers that have places to be by a certain time. I'm not risking being late to my meeting I'm Santa Barbara while I wait for a car to be picked up for me at another location. Just very unprofessional in my opinion. read more

Rented a car from this location because my insurance company only deals with them. NEVER AGAIN !!!! Had problems from the start. First an employee there told me they couldn't get me a car. (Even though insurance claims, means they are a priority for them). Had to call corporate to get this to happen, which took hours out of my day!!!! Then I get a call from the branch manager (Brandon) telling me my account was closed and everything great. WRONG! Account wasn't actually ever closed!!! I had to call back again and get them to close it. Asked him why?? His answer was oh I'm not sure sorry. Then over a month later get a random charge from them. Call Brandon again the branch manager, and he WAS NO HELP. Put the blame on corporate for the charges and then said nothing he could do. But felt fine telling me it was no biggie to be charged a $21 bs fee. They are nothing but a joke! Long story short they will and can tack on any changes they see fit. Tell me again how you wanna help me, but offer to do NOTHING to help me. No offer to help sort out this bs mess they created. But pass me off to the next person. Then I asked how they can just charge my card...he said oh you will get a letter in snail mail some day soon. Oh will I?! So that's how they work, charge first and then send you BS info later. Which is only what I can assume is true considering it was given to me from the manager. I can't tell you how many clients I've sent to this location. I guess we all get fooled sometimes. Heed my advice stick with Hertz or Axis. They give such better customer service care!!!!! Brandon, as a manager you fell really far from the mark here. I mean really far. Car insurance booked me a reservation at this location due to an accident in my vehicle and the inventory at this location reminded me of Rent A Wreck! Vehicles are not up to snuff. The vehicle I got had many imperfections (all of which were noted), wasn't filled up with gas, and needed a wash upon pick up. When dropped off mentioned it to the gal and she stated only the airports get the new vehicles which are trickled down to the local editions once they reach 10k+ in mileage. Otherwise, customer service was good, but could be friendlier (no smiles, robotic like). read more

Having read all the reviews, I was half-afraid to rent from here. But I'm a fan of Enterprise, and most of the problems cited in the reviews seem to stem from this particular branch having a far more onerous debit card policy than other Enterprise locations. (Or people who expect a fantastic rate on a walk-in basis. Reserve online for best deals. Reserve as far in advance as possible for the best deals.) Since I rent with a VISA (my VISA happens to offer rental car insurance as a free member benefit, which is nice) I dove in and gave them a try. I have had no issues. I have now rented here five times, and staff have always been very friendly and efficient in getting me on the road ASAP. Busy but well-staffed. My longest wait: 20 minutes - once they had to wash a car. This location is also currently participating in the $9.99/day Enterprise promo. Valid only for Fri-Mon rentals at select neighborhood rental locations (typically locations that are closed or have very limited hours on Sat-Sun.) You are limited to 100 miles/day...if you exceed it, you get charged per mile. It's a great deal if it meets your needs. read more

Ok I've discovered that #EnterpriseRent-a-Car @enterpriserentacar doesn't care about any type of customer experience. I've been waiting to return a car for 30 minutes but the minute a phone rings, the person on the phone immediately gets serviced pushing you further back in line. When you have customers standing in front of you (real sure money), ask the person on the phone for their number & advise them you'll call them right back but you have customers waiting in your office already. Instead, when the phone rings, the customer in the office is secondary! And its 9:45 am, why is every trash container overflowing? Office floor has bits of paper and one corner looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a minute. Bathrooms for customers, dirty, falling apart and used to store chemicals, car covers, ceiling tiles and florescent lights. The guy you have washing cars, his first responsibility when he comes in its empty the yeah and run a vacuum. Its almost as if the manager in this office just doesn't care about how Enterprise is represented. Bottom line, "EVERYTHING SALES". Everything in your 4 Walls sales the customer, from the office to the bathrooms. As a customer experience & neighborhood marketing consultant, of course I'm going to notice these things, but so do most. They won't say anything... They just don't come back. read more

Due to some car issues, I had to rent a car for a few days and went to this location, which was very close to my house. I was helped by Ashley Smith and she couldn't have been nicer! She explained everything to me, gave me a quick tour of the vehicle and I was on my way in a very short time. I ended up with a cute little Mini convertible which was super fun to drive! Enterprise isn't the least expensive place in town, but, you get great service, a quality vehicle and very easy in and out. Would definitely rent from this spot again. read more

I've only had two rental experience here, but I really recommend this specific store to anyone looking for good service. I was going through an insurance fiasco after someone hit my parked vehicle and totaled. I was set up with Enterprise through their insurance company and was told I would have the car for a set amount of time (I don't remember the amount of time, it's been a few months). Near the end of the time I called to ask if I could extend the rental and they informed me that it was approved for a week longer than the insurance company told me. Awesome! When I went to return the car they informed me that I owed some money for rental insurance (which was to be expected) but also for a few additional days which was a surprise to me. After going back and forth and showing them the dates and times that I had called in and talked to their reps they agreed to comp those days for me since I was informed by them that those days were covered. It was a hassle but I was very pleased. The best part was that they were willing to work with me and allowed me to pay my balance a few days later after my insurance settlement came in. read more
