I rented a car from Sixt at the MSP location from July 23-27. The car was decent, the pricing was…read morereasonable, and the check-in and pickup process was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, I had a major problem after returning the vehicle. On July 28, I received an invoice from Sixt for $614.25 for damage to the front passenger-side aluminum rim, described as a scratch. I am absolutely certain this damage did not occur while I had the vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures of all four wheels when I picked up the car. When I contacted Sixt to dispute the charge, I was told that Sixt was not required to provide proof that the wheel was in perfect condition when I received the vehicle and that documenting the condition of the car was my responsibility. As a result, they refused to remove the charge. This is extremely frustrating. I have rented cars from many companies over the years, but I have never experienced a situation where I was charged hundreds of dollars for damage that I am confident was already present--and then told that the burden was entirely on me to prove otherwise. My strong recommendation: use extreme caution if renting from Sixt. If you do rent from them, I strongly recommend taking a video of the entire vehicle before leaving the lot, along with individual photos of all four wheels/rims and every part of the exterior and interior. Do not assume that any existing damage will be properly documented by Sixt. The initial rental experience was fine, but the way this damage claim was handled has completely changed my opinion of the company. I will not be using Sixt again.

As usual, I did some research amongst both rental car locations and the TURO app in the area. Ultimately, I decided to rent a car from this airport (terminal 1) Enterprise location. I was pleased with the service provided both at the counter and with the staff upstairs who helped guide me to the car options at the time. First of all, there was no line when I came to retrieve the car, which was such a blessing and the process went pretty quickly too. Then, one of my favorite cars was an option for me - a GMC Acadia. I used to drive one and was happy to select this car for my trip. It worked out great! There wasn't a ton of pressure when I turned down extra insurance and also said I'd fill the tank on my own before returning the vehicle. Returning the car was fast and easy as well. I will absolutely rent a car from this Enterprise location again in the future if the need arises.

I always purchase the tank of gas directly from them, as it's much cheaper than what the gas stations offer. Whenever renting from this location, it has always been my fiancee and I that rent the car. I was a bit shocked when I saw the receipt after returning the rental, as I noticed there was an $80.00 charge added for listing my fiancee as an additional driver. Never in the past have I ever been charged this fee, as I have always been told that as long as they have his driver's license on file, he is covered. The individual who waited on us was not the man that we usually deal with, so this was upsetting.

Our rental at a different company fell through...and I called Avis in Roseville, MN on short…read morenotice, looking for a vehicle to fit 5 adults and their baggage for an out-of-state drive. I also needed to be able to park our own car at Avis until our return a week later. The agent who assisted me during the call on the afternoon of June 13, 2025--I believe his name is "Eddie" (but unfortunately lost the note where I wrote it down!)--was so very kind, patient, helpful and reassuring. And then he also was there the morning of our pickup on June 15th. Everything went so smoothly and the Ford Explorer was just what we needed to make our journey so comfortable. It was a difficult week visiting two ill family members, and Eddie's helpfulness and the ease of the rental process were appreciated more than he might know. I hope someone from the corporate office will make sure to recognize him for his excellent service. This experience has increased my loyalty to Avis. FYI, this location also provides service for Budget car rental.

I didn't have rental coverage from my insurance during the repairs, but the staff here ensured that I got a good deal and paid a reasonable price! I appreciated that they let me have a flexible rental window, since the repair shop didn't give me a timeline for repairs. I was given the option of a few different size cars and SUVs to choose from, and landed on a midsized SUV. Car was clean, operated well, and the check in/out process was very smooth. I would come back here again to rent a car, although I hope not for the same reasons ;) it was also VERY nice to be able to picked up and dropped off at the repair shop, the best perk to choosing Enterprise! Saved me a LONG, COLD walk or short Uber drive!

It came in very handy when backing out of the driveway and parking lots as well. However, we did notice that the vehicle was hard to drive as it kept going right. The alignment needs to be taken care of as soon as possible and test driven before renting it out to someone else to prevent any accidents. We nearly had a few because of that ourselves. Be sure to thoroughly examine the vehicles before handing the keys to anyone in the future.

They told me what my initial charge was, and they held that as a pending charge in my bank account as I used my debit card. When I returned the car, they charged an extra dollar and $.30 I think for the gas difference as they had given me an estimate of what it would be and I elected to pay an extra fee for them to gas it up for me. No harm no foul right they already told me upfront so I told them go ahead and charge The additional dollar and $.30 but here's where things went downhill. The initial pending charge of $279 is still pending from my bank. Once I returned the vehicle and they charged me an extra $1.30 so they pulled $280.30 from my bank account but here the thing: the initial $279 is still pending. It has been a week and a half since I have returned the vehicle and they told me I will not get it back until 10 full business days from the date that I returned the vehicle. So they will be able to hold my initial charge $279 for a total of 17 days. I cannot access my own money in my bank account and my bank cannot cancel the charge since it's not an actual charge and still just sitting there pending. So basically they are withholding my money from me and I cannot do anything about it and neither can my bank. The people at Enterprise were perfectly friendly and the car drove perfectly well but the company policy of holding the initial fee for up to 10 business days is for what exactly?? Terrible policy. I recommend you try a different company that doesn't do this to their customers.
