Avis is the worst place to rent a Car or Van, we rent with ahead of time, like three months before…read morethe trip through the Expedia, when my husband get there with his brothe in law they didn't have the Van and the guy who was totally insane, irresponsible, and disrespectful, tell a bunch of a lies, saying that they don't contact no one though the email or phone and they didn't have the information on the system, so when they show him the reservation they made, the Indian guy get angry and ask then to leave, so they have to call customer service to fix the problem and they send them to Orlando at the airport to pick the Van, so when they get there they neither has the Van, waist of time, so again they call and send them to another hour far away to pick the Van where they finally get it, we lost a day of the trip and we couldn't complete our plans for the trip and miss a lot af place because of this situation, I do not recommend this place to any one, shame of you Avis! I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM NOT EVEN ONE STAR, JUST BECAUSE THE SYSTEM NEED A STAR TO PROCEED, I DID!

Changed from 3 stars to five because this issue was managed very well. Maybe ditch that nasty SUV though. I would give a 5 star for customer experience with the employees and service provided. It's this car they feel that's an acceptable rental that I have a serious issue with. The 2021 Chevy Trax is what they had available for me. It's a rental via my insurance company for being rear ended and getting my car repaired. I have a new Lincoln...this is nowhere comparable. The seats are heavily soiled, the trunk area is cracked and broken and the light on the back is literally taped in and barely stable. This is not an appropriate rental at all. When I commented, I was told that it's normal wear and tear. I'm sorry but my normal wear and tear doesn't involve whatever happened to these seats. I'm not pleased this is what I'm told to drive and feel a replacement is necessary. You guys should have a bit more pride in your vehicles and inventory or penalize people returning vehicles like this.

I reserved a pick up truck to travel. I called to confirm my pick up and arrival time to pick up the truck. John asked me to hold on and he is checking on my reservation. I sat on hold for about 30 minutes waiting for him "to check on my reservation" John finally came around to pick up the phone and just said hello and hung up on me. During the pick up time I was told that they gave the vehicle I reserved away to another customer this is why they kept me on hold and did not confirm my reservation and in addition that they locked the door where I could not work out another reservation. I eventually just went to Avis/Budget to rent another vehicle without the hassle of "John"and enterprise. I would stay away from this enterprise location. Note to Enterprise as a business get rid of the worker "John" at this location. He's bad for your business.

She told me that my reservation was not "modifiable" and when I explained that I was a frequent renter as I traveled for work and I often modified my reservations she kept insisting no modifications were allowed. Since I was staying in Ocala I decided to stop in this location to see if I could modify my reservation. In less than two minutes the employee here modified my reservation and I was out the door with the vehicle. Excellent customer service here. The lot is very small though and difficult to maneuver.

I found this shuttle googling and booked in advance and got Joe as my driver. He called me the night before (though I missed the call) and well in advance of my landing to confirm that I had arrived and when he would pick me up. I could not have had a better driver for the ordeal we went through. There was a major accident on the highway with delays of two hours. Though it took us almost three hours to get to Ocala, it was not within his control, but he tried his best to take an alternate route which likely got us there in more time than we would have if we had gone on the highway. Joe was friendly and knew a lot about the area. I felt badly I was so tired, but he took it all in stride and got me directly to my destination. Though I was nervous at first booking a shuttle I didn't know anything about, and wasn't sure if it would be reliable, I was left pleasantly surprised. Would recommend.
