These guys are cool and professional. They weren't phased by me taking a Buick Enclave to Atlanta and back! I added almost 4700+ miles: they're gonna need an oil change! We rented an SUV from enterprise for a week. Three days into our rental the car would not start. The battery was dead. We called them and they told us they would come and service it for $55., they wanted us to pay $55 to have them jump their rental car ! When we expressed our concerns about the battery they said they would jump it not replace it unless it happens again. I forgot to mention we were on a road trip at this point so if it happens again, we could be in the middle of nowhere. We offered to replace the battery if they would reimburse us and they said yes we can go ahead and do that. Just keep the receipt. At time to turn the car and they said they wouldn't reimburse us because they get their batteries for cheaper than we paid for this. We ended up taking out the battery putting in the old battery and they had to tow it from our house . Awful customer service we will never rent from enterprise again. read more

I can not say enough positive things about this company and this location in particular. Alejandro, Cali, and Logan were all so helpful and hospitable. They held the door open for every person who came into the lobby! There was some serious miscommunication by my insurance company to myself, and it could have resulted in me having to pay a lot of money that I was told would be completely covered by insurance. After a long phone call between my insurance, the Enterprise liaison for my insurance, Alejandro, and myself, Alejandro made sure I was taken care of and able to walk out the door without having to pay anything out of my own pocket. A 5 week nightmare between me and my insurance company was smoothed over by Alejandro today. When he could see how upset my insurance had made me, he was kind and patient, and did not hesitate to help, nor did he push back with "policy" like the insurance company did. I was upset when I arrived to pick up my confirmed reservation for a full size car; however, Devon, the assistant branch manager turned a negative into a positive by upgrading my vehicle at the same price. I recently returned my rental car to this location. 6810 e bell dr Phoenix AZ and admire the great service. The young lady named Megan was friendly and professional as was the young man who made sure tires were good. This is our second time renting from this location as we visit a son in the area. They picked me up for the car and brought me back to my sons home at rental end. Rental car was reasonable a great price and service excellent. Not so great with another company with H in its name last year. Added cost hidden not resolved afterwards with H rental. With enterprise a free upgrade and excellent price. I'm hoping to remember that enterprise is a great company going forward. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Humans make mistakes, it's how we handle them and recover from them that sets you a part as a person and as a successful business. This place is terrible. I called to rent a car today. I tried to call this particular store directly but when you google it, it just gives you a general number. The man on the phone was nice enough. He understood I wanted a car from this location ASAP. He reserved one over the phone for me, and he even upgraded me! I took off on my bicycle for a 2 mile bike ride on this chilly morning only to arrive at the location and be told there were no cars available to rent. WTF? Aren't your systems tied together? How could the customer service person on the phone think there is a car to rent that is not there? Confusing to say the least. Add more confusion when I tell you that I walked in right behind another gentleman who was returning a car he had just rented just because he didn't like it! He was getting an upgrade to a truck at no additional cost! But me? No such customer service. You would have thought I was a stinky bum the way I was treated. First, I stood at the counter for over a minute while three people were behind the counter and no one asked to help me. I finally asked someone if she could help. THEN I was told no cars despite my supposed reservation. No cars, really? BUT THERE ARE CARS IN THE LOT I CAN SEE WITH MY OWN EYES! AND YOU ARE GIVING THIS GUY A NEW CAR JUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE IT, NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT, WHY CAN'T I HAVE HIS CAR? No solutions were offered. All they said was a lame "sorry" and then they tried to tell me they just called and left me a voicemail. What good does that do me? NONE. I will NEVER rent for Enterprise again. I will speak ill of this company at every opportunity I have. What a crappy place and crappy customer service. I have no idea how they have the ratings they do right now. I'm giving them one star because the customer service was ok. We "rent" from this location when our car is in the shop for warranty work. Each time the experience either stays the same or gets worse. The vehicles are always dirty, this current one has some sort of sticky gunk on the dials and down the console. In the past, we have had low tire pressure, smells, food left in the car, and more. I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about this Enterprise location at Bell Road and 28th Street. My husband and I needed to rent a SUV and since we had rented a car from this location several years ago and it was an excellent experience at that time - we decided to go with them again. The customer service at this location is top notch!! We worked with a wonderful gentleman by the name of Jordan Hass. Jordan exemplifies the true meaning of great customer service. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, personable, honest and caring. Jordan was also very patience with us as we were not sure which size SUV we actually wanted to rent, so he showed us several different ones that were available and explained their features so that we could find the right fit for our needs. Jordan was also very thorough when it came to the rental process and the daily rate we got - fit our budget exactly. The SUV we rented was clean and ran perfectly. We were very happy with our rental choice. We also had the pleasure of interacting with another customer service representative by the name of Tyler. He too, was extremely helpful and personable. With all the craziness going on right now in our world - it is extremely refreshing to know that great customer service still exists. It is definitely apparent that Enterprise hires the best individuals (employees) to represent their company. I am hopeful that the Enterprise Organization values their employees as much as their employees value their customers. Renting a car can sometimes be expensive at Sky Harbor airport. The cars are also offsite so you have to take a shuttle to your assigned vendor. I've gotten used to the routine but after we started comparing prices we've opted to rent a car offsite. We choose another Enterprise location that was between where we were staying and the airport. That's how we decided on this location. On a recent trip we looked at rates at the airport ($1100) and offsite at this location ($550). Both for a standard car. With the savings it was an easy decision to decide to rent at this spot.The staff here greeted us with a smile and were more than accommodating. They offered us a free upgrade from our standard size vehicle to a small SUV! When you return the vehicle you can either bring it back to the same location (no charge) or drop it off at the airport for an additional fee ($50). Moral of the story: Compare rates first and if you find that you will be saving a lot consider renting a car offsite. It truly is worth it! read more

I came to visit my sister recently in Arizona. We utilized this location to rent a car for travels to Las Vegas. Upon inspection of the car prior to taking it, we discovered it was still slightly dirty. This location was more than apologetic and offered an additional discount for our inconvenience. We were going to be late returning the car which would have cost us another day. Loren managed to extend a rental for a week it only cost us an additional $6.. above the additional day rental. Loren was extremely helpful and polite. She really worked with us and we appreciate her customer service. Would definitely recommend this location if you're in Phoenix visiting. I really can't complain. Here's my story: I swerved and narrowly avoided a full on head-on collision by a wrong-way drunk driver on the SR51 on January 16th, and my personal car was screwed. My front drivers side panel is ruined and my drivers side mirror was 400% GONE. Thankfully I'm fine and I'm glad I had good reflexes, or a guardian angel, or something. So once I stopped crying and had called work and 911 and the insurance company, at 2300 hours, I was tired and upset and felt like my insurance after hours adjuster was trying to get me to admit the whole thing WAS my fault, after all. I wasn't so sure how well my exigent circumstance would be taken care of. My cynicism was unfounded. My insurance set me up with Enterprise. I called and spoke to a nice guy named Ian who promised he would have a car ready for me when I arrived the next morning (I work nights). I advised I would be there early. He said, no problem. So after work, boyfriend and child in tow, I arrived at opening time on the nose. Checked in with Ian, small talk about my job, etc. He stated he remembered our conversation and my vehicle was ready. Now mind you I had had a rough week... I looked out front and saw a sneaker-white Versa waiting... My exact words were, "Bro, please don't make me leave here in a Versa. Bro..." Half an hour later - yes I was initially grumpy about the wait time (I had no right) - I was driving away in a gorgeous Dodge Journey which is perfect for my family and work commute, and the best thing I could think of to drive for a month while I wait for my car to be repaired. The staff was friendly and cared about the customers concerns. Ian listened to my wants and found a way to make it work, and quickly. Out of such a small service center, that's definitely commendable. And the vehicle has been excellent- very low mileage, evidently excellent maintenance, clean as a whistle and just an overall pleasure. Thank you guys keep it up. I want to first start by saying I use their service about once or twice a month and up till my last rental everything has been great. This last time we were on a time crunch and my younger son (22) and my wife had to pick up the car at the location on 28th and bell.My son used his credit card for the deposit that they require but informed the clerk that he would not be driving the car all. We made sure that was clear because there is a 20.00 dollar fee for young drivers. We were heading out on a family trip and they only way my son would have to drive is if something tragic happen to both myself and my wife. On returning the car topped of with more gas then we had to start with we notice the extra 20.00 dollar charge was still showing on invoice after bringing it to the clerk attention he assured us that it would be taken care of when the deposit was returned to my sons credit card. The next day my sons deposit was returned still showing the extra 20.00 added to the final price of our rental. I made two call asking about my return credit and was told it takes 7 to 10 business days but they assured me paperwork was processed and it would just take time. We were sandwiched with the 4 th of july holiday so I gave them the benefit of doubt and waited until double the days had passed (14 days )to be exact. On my final inquiry I was told that it wasn't their policy to return young driver fees. I then reminded the clerk I was calling to see IF I was getting a refund but to find out when it was going to show on my card. So after 4 chances to do the right thing and after being lied to on the initial call saying it was being processed I had to write this review. It's not about the money now ( paid my son the 20.00 out of pocket) it's about doing what is right , mistake in business happen all the time when your in the customer service business it can't be perfect all the time but I judge a company on how they handle the not so perfect experiences and this time they failed. read more

These people are simply incredible. We choose not to put 1000 miles at a time going to San Diego or Los Angeles from Phoenix on our own vehicles, and usually rent from the Bell and 28th Street location. Why? In the last year or two, we have rented vehicles with free upgrades, and of course Enterprise is well known for not charging for mileage going to states near AZ. But the best part is the people here. They listen to you, and deal with problems (usually small) immediately and concisely. We use this location only because we know the people here are customer service oriented, and did I mention their cars are pretty great too? read more

When I arrived to pick up my rental, there were no Intermediates available. the staff made several generous offers to upgrade and to address the lack of the class I had requested. The branch manager went as far as to call another location to request that they hold an Intermediate car for me to pick up the next day. It is rare to see customer service like this in today's service industry, it was most appreciated, and the staff were all very attentive to making the experience as positive as possible.
