I booked the car online with ease, very user friendly website. As I arrived to pick up my car early Monday morning, there was a human error, it was mine. I had gone to the wrong location. The guy at the counter immediately recognized what happened and got everything back on track. My other reservation was canceled and transferred to the location I was at. I also want to comment on the great communication they had letting me know when my insurance company was to stop paying and when the payment responsibility would switch to me. I have rented a Jeep or a car from here 4 times so far, and each experience has been excellence. Highly recommend coming here. Rayan is one of the reps that have helped me. Another gentleman has helped as well, and I don't recall his name. Both have been the best at their jobs. I've returned a vehicle earlier than expected, and they've refunded me back the time, even if it was just a few hours. Enterprise Rent-A-Car I am an repeat Customer with Enterprise and I've patronized them in between vehicles and when I was having a vehicle fixed needless to say I've spent a lot of money with Enterprise I am doing this review solely on the Enterprise on Rainier Ave S in Seattle WA , I was in a rental in which I had back to back rentals within a week or so apart due to the winter weather I catch 6 buses to and from work at night , I get into the 2nd car rental within 2wks time and when it's time to return which the date was set for today I called and spoke to the Manager Matthew I spoke to him gave him my information and and asked if I could please drop the vehicle at the Enterprise on Sunset Blvd which is down the hill from where I live due to the freezing weather and potential slick conditions and he told me no I needed to bring the car to him I had to drive from the Renton East Highlands to Rainier Valley and then had to pay $60 dollars I didn't have for a Lift home because they said the day before they could only give me a courtesy ride a mile or 2 down the road. Do not rent with this Branch they do not care if it's it's winter of it's freezing cold or your disabled which I am and they definitely don't help with a courtesy ride they do not care about you or helping you other than putting you in a rental and taking you hard earned money where is the compassion the empathy or even the part where you at least try to make a resolution for a consumer that patronizes your company and has on a regular basis? , Do not got to this Branch all they care about is your money other than that the Customer Service sucks as a former Branch Manager myself you are supposed to go above and beyond for your customers. This place is fine. I mean, it's a rental car place, what do you really expect? I had called earlier in the day after booking our car on-line. I wanted to verify that I could use a coupon when I came in to pick up our car. The guy on the phone seemed extremely frazzled, hurried and rushed. He said that it was fine. I told him that I would have to be picked up, and he said that it was fine, that I should call when I'm ready since they might have a car out already, even though I knew precisely when we would be ready. - It honestly sounded like he just wanted me to get off of the phone. I called 30 minutes before I wanted to be picked up. They said it would be a couple of minutes. It ended taking 50-60 minutes. We had our pick of the lot, and we went with fuel efficiency with a 2012 Ford Focus. The speakers were blown, it smelled like cigarette smoke, and the fuel gas light was already on. It was not the most enjoyable week to say the least. Just be wary when you come to rent a car here, we actually had a much better experience with all of the rental agencies at Sea-Tac. read more

I came back again to rent a car and had another pleasant experience. I requested a pick up around 1 o'clock, and they got there about 20 minutes later. I live about 15 minutes from this location, so they were pretty quick! I was given the choice of two cars and I chose in the smaller one. After driving around in it for a few hours , I had to bring it back to exchange it for another one. It smells like someone had smoked in it and they use the commercial deodorizer to remove the smell, which leaves a sickly sweet scent. They did not give me a hard time at all when I came back and I really felt bad for even having to have asked for a new car. Upon my return, as soon as I walked in the door a gentleman jumped up from his desk to greet me. Quick return, had me on my way within 5 minutes! I will continue to run from this location for my personal needs. Also got a great rate on my car because I reserved ahead of time about a month beforehand. As usual, was offered lots of additional insurance, etcetera... You just have to know to reject them read more

I returned the car as same condition as when I got it but they said there is damage that I am responsible now they are sending me a bill to pay for the damage. I was so happy with my decision to get my rental car at this location for my stay from Sept 6-21. I come back to visit yearly & past 3 yrs used budget(very bad experience). Decided to order online w/Enterprise Renton Highlands. When arrived vehicle I ordered wasn't on lot but one had just been returned, so Julz offered to clean it immediately if I cared to wait. Didn't take long we walked the car noted and scratches etc. I took video also. Great car especially gas mileage!! Upon return advised I hadn't needed car for 3 days so it sat in friends driveway opened up car & previous driver must have smoked pot (yes legal in Wa,but still smoke) didn't bother me but wanted them to be aware. Julz gave me a discount for my trouble. Much appreciated. Each interaction I had at this location was handled above & beyond. Terrible experience with this location. My wife booked a 7-passenger minivan, weeks in advance, for hauling around our family from out of town over the end-of-year holidays. The van was an essential part of our planning. The morning of the reservation, we called to see if we could pick up the van an hour or so early and were told the van wasn't ready due to a "recall" of some kind. The representative said they'd have to take the van to SEA-TAC to be "fixed" but couldn't say for sure when it'd be ready. They called us back close to our original pick-up time to say the van can't be fixed and they can only offer us a 15 passenger, full sized van. A van that size is double what we need, would be impossible to park in downtown Seattle (where we planned to sight see), and would cost us more in the end due to increased fuel consumption. We said that wasn't an option and, after waiting another two hours, got a call back saying there's nothing they can do for us, even if we waited until tomorrow to pick up a suitable vehicle. We're now faced with having to drive our own two vehicles everywhere we plan to visit over the next week. Really horrible customer service. I wonder what would have happened if we didn't call this morning. Would we not have learned of this recall until we drove to the location to pick up our reserved minivan? And, how did they just find out about a recall this morning and how did they expect to get it fixed in a two hour window before our reservation started? The recall excuse seems unlikely at best and dishonest at worst. Either way, we've been seriously inconvenienced and find it remarkable that Enterprise can offer no viable solution. This is my go-to car rental place. Yes, it is more out of convenience, but I have had positive experiences from this specific location. Just recently though, I had my first blip in that record. I had reserved a large SUV online, about 5 days before I needed it. Everything was confirmed online and good to go. One day before my travels, I received a call stating that they had no large SUV's available and that they had called other locations, but nothing was available. It was suggested that I call the airport to secure the vehicle. I am supposed to call? I already made the reservation, it should be the responsibility of the company to call the airport and get the car for me. I called the main customer service at Enterprise and asked them, "Why would you confirm that you have a large SUV available, and then not have one ready for me"? They stated, "We are just like the airlines, we overbook because we have cancellations." So how does that help me, when I need a large SUV tomorrow? He looked up what was available at the airport and they did indeed have a large SUV. HOWEVER, he was going to charge me TWICE the amount of my original reservation. WHAT???? Why am I being punished for their poor business practices? I hung up and called back the local rental agency. I was able to secure a mid-size SUV and it was ready for pick up the next day. I do not blame the local agency for this, but I do believe that Enterprise needs to re-look at how it confirms its car availability. Once you have a confirmed reservation, that car should be available for the customer. read more

We needed a reliable car to drive to a family wedding in Calif. and Enterprise offered the best rate for a "full size" vehicle when I searched on CarRentals.com When I arrived to pick up the car they were very polite and helpful and offered a new Chrysler minivan at the same price if I wanted it. The day before my scheduled morning pickup, I was called and told that I needed to live in Renton or show a utility bill under my name. I have been renting cars for over 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. I reserved a truck for 5 days and was told that I could pick it up at 9am. When I arrived they could not find the keys to the truck. When they called the lady that worked the day before they discovered that she had left them in her purse. "Why does she have them in her purse?" I asked. The manager, who was obviously not management material, had no clue why she would have the keys in her truck. I was forced to wait for 45 minutes until the employee arrived with the keys. I was told that I had to drop the truck off by 9am and that they opened at 7:30am. I arrived at 8:55am and there was a sign on the door telling me that they had left for a while and to call a number to get service. I called the number and low and behold, it was the lady who left the keys in her purse. She said she would be there soon and took 40 minutes to arrive. By this time there were 5 other people waiting for service and trust me, this girl was not fit to handle all of us, so we all waited while she SLOWLY served us. I lodged a formal complaint with Enterprise and the manager but it didn't do any good. They said they would call me back and never did. Avoid Enterprise altogether, but at a very minimum stay away from this one in Renton, WA. read more

I rented a truck for two nights from this location. The truck was with me at our campsite all the time. I returned it in the exact condition I received it. After a few days they sent a fraudulent and false claim of almost $500 for damages. I will never rent from Enterprise ever again and already asked my friends not to rent as well. I've used this location many times for over a year now. We had a rocky start due to no parking on location but the manager Sean (Shawn? Shaun?) made everything better and then some. He went above and beyond to make sure things were handled in a manner and with a result, that I was happy with. I will continue doing business at this location, since our initial mishap I've had nothing but great service from all the staff. Seriously, if you have an issue with anything say something to any of the staff, they and Sean, I'm confident will make sure they do all they can to fix it and make you happy. I travel for business quite frequently and have used the Renton location the past few times. The first time was excellent. The car was very clean and the sales guy was friendly and efficient. Drop off was a breeze. This last time was good, but not as great as the first time. I arrived a little earlier then expected and had to wait for a vehicle (my fault so not upset about the wait, they actually gave me an free upgrade since the vehicle I reserved was not available.) I could tell they were busy by their empty lot. The guys were still very friendly, however the car that I got (which had just been cleaned, hence the wait) was pretty dirty on the inside. It was a little disappointing. Drop off took longer as well, only one guy was working. I plan on using them again in the near future and hope next time is more like the first time I visited. read more

I chose this location because it was less expensive than the airport, and was convenient to get an Uber to and from this rental location to the airport. I really appreciated that they called to confirm my rental a few days before and called me after I had dropped it off (I dropped off after-hours) to confirm everything had gone smoothly, the total price, and the car was checked back in good condition. Me and my business partner went to go rent a car from enterprise to see if They would work with us during COVID 19. That Way we can get around take our kids to school and get to work & help our clients with projects. Long story short things got a little slow because our clients starting getting ill then it slowly picked back up I was waiting on some checks to clear through to catch up on the rental & bills and next thing you know we're getting harassed and calls from them accusing of us taking a rental when we specifically asked for more time so we can attend to our clients get paid take our kids to school and get caught up pay the rental and buy a car from them . We changed our mind and will not be buying a car from them. Honestly this has been the worst experience I ever had in my life it has affected my health my livelyhood and our kids health as well. Do NOT waste your time here. I think the employees from the near bye Burger King should give them lessons in customer service. They never have compact or even mid size cars in. They will over charge you any chance they get. I had to call 5 times to get a car my insurance company set up for me. They refused to give me a car or call me back. They took a $100 deposit that they are now figuring out every way possible not to give back to me. Save your self time and go to the Enterprise on Grady way.
