They had my reservation for weeks. I even called to confirm the morning of. I showed up and no car. I've been waiting for a car for two hours!!! Never again. I wrote the above when I was waiting in the lobby. When they finally did get me a car, I went out with my pet car-seat in hand and told me "no pets." I told them to drive me back to the auto body place. I then had to tell the body shop place I needed to reschedule. Now I am waiting on insurance to find me another company to work with. Eh, really a 2.5. No one likes to rent a car, but when someone rear ended me I didn't have a choice. Insurance had my back (kinda...that's another story) and sent me a link confirming that they'd already contacted Enterprise on my behalf and gave them the info needed, I just need to fill out the info card to let them know when I'm coming and all that jazz. My car is rare which meant it was several days before the repair shop was able to get started. That also means that Enterprise had known that I reserved a Tinker Toy sized car and what time I was going to be there to pick up it for several days. Pick up time comes. It's a bit of a mad house and the employees are juggling all of the customers - not exactly their fault they're clearly understaffed - I can deal, right? Well. That reservation I took the time to submit DAYS before? They asked me for the exact same information I'd already given them. And oooh the size of car that I asked for? Well, they don't have any. The next size up is a little out of my allowance for my insurance - but that's okay! I can totally get one of those cars....at my personal expense, of course. Great, thanks. Actually leaving with the car might have been easy, if it weren't for the aggressive upsell on their insurance. Between my full comp car insurance and my credit card I think I'm covered, thanks. No really, I'm covered. Oh, you know my policies better than I do and they won't cover you say? Yes, this makes complete sense. Ahem. Returning the car should have also been easy, and it was for the most part. Until they asked me to rate them 1-10. Feeling nice (and wanting to get my car back so I could go home!!) I said "8." Oooooh they said. If I don't given them a 10 then they get in trouble. Uh, okay? Talk about awkward. Hell, tell your boss I said 10 - I totally don't care. i usually rent over in RENTON in grady way but since move to kent and had car trouble i went here i rent here before had no problem easy & fast u go IN and you go OUT with a car the guy with the curly hair is fckn awesome & people that work here always have a good a attitude greets you and take care of you and get it done. but last month didn't see the people i usually see i was thking they were probably move to a different location bcuz they do that or had a promotion. anyway last month i had a reservation walked and greeted by workers they were about to close in 40mins so still have time so i ask the lady told her i have points that i wanted to use but i already have a reservation she just just cancel the one i have and used my points i said ok thank so i step away and seated so if someone comes in they can help them first, then a tall skinny guy. walked out from the office and greeted me and the other person that was there before me. so when i was about to be done with my reservation using my points i walked up and ask the lady how to use is cuz ive never done it. and when she looked at me she was kinda irritated and pause for 3seconds lol i mean i get it they want to go home and it was sunday. so got done with reservation checked in and out so check the car so the tall skinny dude went we went out to check the car for me and check. so he went over with the process & fees and went he was done with it said no i'll skip all of it he stop and stare at me and said well how are u gonna protect the car? i said it's ok i got it ill use mine. Do not rent from here. Worst experience I've ever had renting a car. They charged me way more than I booked it for. Would not let me return the car at this location because they only open at 7:30 am and I had a flight at 8:30. Had to pay an extra $150.00 dollars to drop off the car at the Airport. Customer service was completely non existent. If I could have given a lower rating I would have. Complete zero rating. I felt like I was robbed. And they didn't care one little bit. I booked a rental week. I know what you need to rent a car as I have at other enterprise establishment. I get a ride there by a nice lady that why I rated it a 1 for her. I get there showed my drivers license to the male representative at the front desk. He said I needed proof of a utility bill and proof of employment. I said why I'm not trying to buy a vehicle I only need it for a few hours. He said that's what's needed. It's amazing how they take your information over the phone and when you get there they start racial profiling. I am retired and I think I'm not sure what I was supposed to look like. I said get my ride and take me back home since you picked me up. I called a enterprise in Seattle and they couldn't believe the way I was treated. A big fat ZERO I have been renting from Enterprise for 30 years and at this location specifically for the last 20 for sometimes as long as 30 days at a time. Went in for a reservation pick up and the girl behind counter says she needs to verify my address...I give my driver's license then she proceeds to say she also needs a check stub and utility bill. (Who carries that with them without warning). Well I don't have them and have been using this facility for many years .... My name and number are attached to your network somewhere. Her blow off response was we have 9 people behind you so won't be able to rent to you.... I'd say was furious but that would be an understatement! Was it because I'm black and challenged what she was saying. I've never in the past 25 years had to prove who I am and that my money was good enough...... Extremely disappointed with this enterprise location I really suggest going to the auburn location instead. It's been about the 5th time I make a reservation IN PERSON, AT THEIR OFFICE, EVEN SEE THE VEHICLE THAT IS RESERVED FOR ME... Made reservations of a midsized sedan, confirmed a day earlier that they have a car, but when I got there they didn't have any. Instead Eric was giving us a Chevy Spark saying this is what we booked. We had to upgrade and pay extra to get a SUV. He was not at all helpful and stubborn in accepting any of the issues we pointed in the new car. Yes, I'm a smoker but let me repeat not once did I smoke in their truck they gave to me dirty and with 4 gallons of gas in it. I called this Enterprise location today to get a car since mine is being repaired. I asked for a compact car, the smallest available. The agent quoted me $75 a day for a full-size car. I repeated that I wanted a compact car or the smallest size available and wanted a reasonable price. She said they had smaller cars available, and then she quoted me $60 a day for an intermediate car. I told her that I had just rented a car from another Enterprise for four days that was an intermediate size at the rate of $31 a day and asked her to give me a better price. She said she couldn't go lower. I chose to rent from another company. I went online out of curiosity later today and looked up what the weekday rate is at this location. It shows $46.87 for a compact and the full-size at $53.87. Unreal. read more

We had a really poor experience here. I needed to get some service done on my vehicle. The work was planned, so I called ahead to Enterprise to ensure that they would have a rental ready for me (I don't fit in smaller vehicles). I was very specific and told them I would be needing either a full-size SUV or a Pickup as those are the only things I can drive comfortably. I gave the details about my drop off time at the Dealership to Cody and he said they would see me there. I drop off my car at the planned time and date and wait about 30 minutes past, but Enterprise never shows up. I call Enterprise to see if there is a delay and they are unaware of the call I made the day before but send someone right over. About 15 minute later, someone from Enterprise does show up, but of course they are driving a tiny compact car. I explain to the driver that there is no way were going to fit in that vehicle so he went back to find another. 30 minutes or so later, he shows up in a mid-sized SUV saying that was all that he could find. It wasn't ideal by any means or comfortable, but I was able to squeeze into the car so we went back to the Enterprise office. Once there, the Rental Agents were extremely apologetic about the "mix up" and made sincere efforts to find a vehicle like I had requested but none were available. We had to make the mid-size SUV work because it was Saturday and we had no other choice. Overall: Calling ahead turned out to be a waste of time because they didn't communicate or plan ahead and they didn't end up being able to meet the arrangements. They did eventually rent me a car but it wasn't what I requested nor was it a comfortable fit. I've had other positive experiences in the past with Enterprise, but this location was the least organized I have ever seen. I'll definitely avoid this location if possible in the future. read more

Had to deal with a rental after a little car mishap occurred in our driveway. All we really had to do was call our insurance to get a confirmation and call Enterprise to reserve a car. I went there during rush hour traffic and dealt with a young gentleman- Mario. Mario was very thorough. I got a car in less than 10 minutes. This is a great location for all of you who don't want to locate a car out of 100's in a car rental lot. The entire transaction was very pleasant up the point when I was refunded my deposit. I needed to have some major repairs done to my car. The auto shop recommended Enterprise in Kent. Here's what happened next. Step 1: I go online and reserve the car. Great! However, the online experience didn't include a pick-up location. Enterprise online assumed I wanted to be picked up at home. There was no option online to update my pick-up address. Strike 1. Step 2: I call Enterprise and tell them my predicament. No problem! They only have one request: I need to call them back on the day I need to be picked up. Huh? Enterprise said they needed a reminder. Just an hour or so before my scheduled pick-up time. Hmm. OK. Strike 2. Step 3: The big day finally arrives. As requested, I call them an hour prior to pick-up to confirm. That's when they informed me that I needed a major credit card. For years, I have used my Visa debit for EVERYTHING. But apparently, that's not good enough. No card, no car. I get it. They need a major credit card. Cool. But to tell me this AN HOUR BEFORE PICK-UP is not cool. Strike 3. I asked to talk to management who were not at all helpful. They said that I could get by with a utility bill and a few months of paystubs. But, it was a little too late for that. It's not something I carry around with me - to the amazement of Enterprise management. I certainly could have had this documentation ready on Step 1. It would have been OK to be told this on Step 2. I've used Enterprise in California and other cities in WA, none of which gave me any trouble. However the location in Kent complicated things for me and my party in June when they denied my reservation last minute. I had made a reservation online in May and called to confirm with no trouble. When I went in to get the vehicle, the manager denied me because i was 23, not 25. I told them I made a reservation online and there was no conflict when i put in my age. I was denied last minute and had to call my dad so i could have him take over to rent an SUV for my brother's wedding. The only problem i have with them is i could have booked with Hertz to get the same car with no trouble. I feel this location focuses more on profit than it's customers. My brother's plans could have been ruined if my father wasn't available to help. read more

Super unimpressed with this location, and I haven't even gotten my rental. Made a reservation through enterprise a few weeks ago. Today I get a call from a gentleman confirming my reservation, he asked if we were paying with a credit card, I said a debit and he said "oh, well the larger Cars HAVE to be paid with a credit card" uhmm ok, no where did it tell me that but we'll figure it out. Few hours later I get ANOTHER confirmation call, this time a lady. I told her I hAd already received a call. She then proceeds to tell me about some $200 deposit ON TOP of the amount of my reservation??? Now I KNOW I've never had to do that since I've gotten rental cars before and that definitely wasn't told to me at any point. And she just tried to casually slide it in there. When our car's engine dropped on the highway & we were without a car, we had a friend drive us down to this location to pick up a car a couple months ago. Since i've read reviews about this place, i was nervous at the time that something would go wrong during the whole process but everything was extremely smooth from beginning to end. When we got there, we were greeted by who i believe was the assistant manager. Very young blonde hair guy with a good disposition. He was very friendly with us. We had Geico insurance which landed us a good deal on our rental. So if you have Geico, Enterprise accepts them based on your insurance policy for specific deals. We only needed the car for one week but asked if we could rent for longer encase our car could not be fixed within the amount of time. He said yes, gave us the prices & tank info (you pay them for the difference in gas or fill it up at the end yourself) & everything went smoothly till we had to pay for the deposit. We had a bit of a problem there since we weren't expecting it to be so pricey. Thankfully the guy assisting us was understanding of our situation & was patient with us trying to get the money off of our credit cards. Once we were all done with paperwork, he showed us our car. He didn't let us pick out our car so if you're wanting a specific car, be vocal about it before you put money down. We were given the Ford Fusion Titanium & Oh my god i LOVED that thing! Just letting you know the titanium is a special edition of the 2016 Ford Fusion so we got i guess the luxurious version of the car. We own a 03 model so going from 2003 to 2016 was a big difference. We looked over it with the guy to make sure there was nothing wrong but he said our insurance covers us so we didn't actually have to look over the car for dings but did anyways encase he messed up on our paperwork. And we were off. Car worked fine. No problems with how it preformed. It preformed so well that we're planning once we get enough money saved, to buy a fusion. Not the titanium cause that's crazy expensive but we were very impressed. All because we rented this car from them. So that's a huge +. (My family has driven fords for awhile so we are pretty familiar with the maker). So a week past & we actually needed the car 2 more days. We called ahead & told the guy & he told us that it will be fine to keep it for an extra 2 days & will charge us once we return it to them. So on the day we returned it, everything went smoothly. We filled up the tank ourselves, we brought it back in one piece & this time we only spent a total of 7 minutes in the office unlike before. It was very quick with no problems. Best part, they gave us a ride back to our house in the same car we drove. I didn't expect they'd do that. Overall best service. I can only speak of my 1 time with them but if our car breaks down or my friend needs a rental, i'll be recommending this place to them or at least Enterprise. Thank you guys for quality service. (few weeks after we rented, our neighbor 1 building over rented the same car from them & it was parked again outside our unit, how funny is that! They took a detailed reservation by phone the day before and then when I called for pickup on the scheduled day they said they had no reservation AND no cars available not even for next couple of days. Left me stranded. I called Auburn Enterprise branch which did have cars but I was out of Auburn pickup area so had big inconvenience to get there since my car is in the shop, and these two offices can't transfer cars to each other read more

Surprised at the mixed reviews, these people were the best! In the last I've used I think five different rental car companies, including other Enterprise locations, and the staff here were by far the nicest people I've ever experienced! I was having my car fixed after someone hit me, and it fell on one of those weeks where I had so much going on was hard to juggle even the time to pick up drop off car at shop and get in rental. I wasn't the most patient, but all the staff was accommodating, great communicators, and so friendly. Ben who I worked, is one of those people you can just sense the good work ethic. To voice another's review, I'm surprised at mixed reviews for this location. I've been to good Enterprise locations and I've been to bad ones - this one was the best. I needed to be picked up at an auto shop due to some damage, and dropped back off a few days later. Drivers were very competent, careful drivers. They were great at conversation, even if it was small talk (Kelsie and Anthony were both fantastic). I was in, I was out, it was painless. First and last time working with Enterprise. Recently, I had to put my car in the shop for about a week and needed a rent-a-car for emergency purposes. I'm insured through Progressive and so I went with Enterprise because they offered a discounted rate, which I couldn't refuse. The agent drops the car off at the collision place in Federal Way, and we look over the car. We sort of looked over the car quickly, and then right off the bat he starts offering me the extra protection. I kindly turned him down because the car wouldn't be used that much. He keeps trying to get me to buy another protection and I told him no again. We then parted ways and I drove home in the rental. 1 week later, my car is ready for pick up. I drove to the nearest Enterprise location to drop off the car. I walked in, told them I was dropping off, and so the woman goes out with a clipboard and looks over the car. Now here's where it gets funny. She comes in saying that there was a dent or some sort of crease on the hood of the car. I walked out to check and told her that the damage was made prior to me renting that car. She told me that it wasn't written down so basically it was my fault. Here's the reason why I refused to pay anything. (1) The car was parked in a garaged parking the entire time I rented it. (2) I only drove the car 58 miles, half of which are from the drive from my house to the Enterprise location. (3) I reverse park into the parking stall so I'm curious as to how there could be damage on the hood and not the rear. Immediately she tells me that I would have to pay $500. Like there was no back and forth, no arguing, no fill out this paper, just a "I need to collect your $500 deductible." I told her that I wasn't going to pay anything because it wasn't my fault. She then counters at $100, again I said no. I then settled for $50 which was my deposit. I only paid this because she told me that nothing could be done until some money was collected. Now, I'm waiting for tomorrow to come to get in contact with my Progressive agent and hopefully resolve this situation. Can't believe this happened and surely won't be going back to Enterprise, discount or not. I hope this helps someone who's thinking about Enterprise for a rental. Just don't and save yourself the trouble. Sadly, I'm not the first person to have a finger pointed to them for some magical damage. read more

So I recently got into an accident and I had to get a Rent-A-Car so I could get around until I get a new car. They were very nice and explained everything to me since it was my first time renting. There was a problem with the first car they gave me with the tires and also the oil change so when I went in to get them to add air to the tires they then gave me another car and since I was waiting a little longer than usual for them to see what was wrong with the other car he upgraded me to a brand new Nissan rouge sport and only had a few miles. **Please note that they do not pick up from the airport which is understandable, but you'll need to add nearly $80 for cab fare to and from the airport to your rental cost to compare** First of all, their address is wrong on most of their booking sites and including yelp. My first impression when I came in to this location was that these guys are super polite and friendly. At first I actually felt pretty good about my choice given the other choices around. This is about where the good feels ended. The reality about this place is that it is an upsell heaven. The first upsell is right off the bat where they take you outside in the back and show you all of the vehicles asking you "which one would you like?". My answer to that question was "which type of car fits the one I reserved?" This is obviously something that they don't want you to say. The next upsell was as I'm getting into the actual car that I reserved, this guy pitches me for the extra coverage. I have my own liability coverage as well as collision with my credit card. In addition, I have AAA. He walked me through each one of these with a very very intense attitude like his life depended on it. He even mentioned that it is not get commission but he is just very concerned for me. He told me that if the car is damaged they will charge me 20k and MAYBE I'll get reimbursed by Visa. He even asked me about my health insurance!? After I declined over and over again, he finally settled on some very general anything goes coverage that I guess covers a scratch or chip on the windshield or something. I declined that which was $17 a day for my one-week rental and he said "wow, okay, this is really scary.".. really dude? At this point I was pretty much at the end of my rope when he sticks out of hand and says "did I provide you with excellent customer service today?" I wanted to say shitty dude, really really shitty. When I returned the car, I was asked twice by a different guy how my experience was (while another guy was getting the third degree while renting a car).. I finally told them they needed to tone it down on the upselling. He said, it's probably because you only had liability on your insurance.. I didn't even want to ague. I am a 33 year old business owner and I have been in sales and marketing for a long time. I know when someone is selling to get commission, steak knives or to keep their own job and this was it. I chose these guys over the cheaper services because I wanted a faster more high-quality experience when renting and dropping off a car. However, all of the time I would have saved was wasted by walking out in the back for the first upsell and standing outside of the car with my girlfriend through the five minute grilling. I feel like these guys just watched Glengarry Glen Ross Alec Baldwin speech, "ABC always be closing". Tone it down Enterprise we just want to get our car and get started on our vacation. read more

Don't trust this deceptive company. They did pick me up from the repair shop and dropped me off at their location. I was told that the only vehicle they had to rent me was a giant gas guzzling SUV. When I inquired about another vehicle I was refused. When filling out the paperwork they marked the gas level up almost a quarter tank higher than it actually was. I complained and after going out to the car with the employee (didn't catch his name) and demonstrating where he marked the gas to be and where it actually was did he fix his mistake. From here it only got worse. I returned the rental car two weeks later (my car had been in an accident and had extensive damages) and was told after a brief inspection that I was all set. I asked anyway if I needed to do anything else to ensure that they would charge the insurance company directly (the other car was at fault in this accident, their insurance recommended the body repair shop who recommended nearby enterprise) They told me I didn't have to do anything and that they would take care of it. Two weeks later I checked my balance to find they charged me $500 for the rental. I called the insurance company who never received a bill or claim number or anything of the sort. I called the Central Ave. Enterprise and spoke to Brandon, who brushed it off saying they must have sent it to the wrong place. At no time when picking up or returning the rental did Enterprise give any indication that this might happen. In fact, Enterprise never bothered to call me, or send me a statement through the mail to inform me that they were charging me for the rental. Instead I had to call them, (and after being put on hold numerous times) was able to wrangle their pathetic excuse of a story out of them. Finally, the employee Brandon told me I could wait on hold even longer, or have his manager call me back. It's now the end of the day, and I'm out $500 without so much as a call back from their manager. Find another car rental, this one is far too deceptive. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father who was recently charged $160 on a temporary replacement due to someone backing into his car. When asking an employee about the charge she responded with "it's not our fault, you have to talk to your insurance" with a more than snarky attitude. He asked why he wasn't notified via phone call or even email that his insurance wouldn't cover the charge she said they called once, yes only once out of the 15 days my father had the rental we were only contacted once and he happened to not answer. If I could give the Kent location 0 stars I would. Corporate didn't help either. To summarize, Enterprise charged me over $730.00 for a 13 day Nissan Altima rental. The charges were fraudulent, and I even contacted the BBB when it took 2 weeks to realize corporate would not follow through. Enterprise didn't even respond to the BBB. My original reservation was $119.00 per week. That would be $238.00 for 2 weeks. The first week I was charged $208.00 for the rental and $150.00 for the deposit. I was fine with that as it included insurance. We decided to keep it another week. You would think it would be the same price. Instead, I was charged around $530.00 for the second. I did not get my deposit back. There are so many details to the lies we were told, I won't even type them here. Basically, they owe us slightly over $300.00. (300.00 in deposits and an additional $8.00 they debitted my account 1 week after returning the rental) I emailed enterprise twice and called them a few times. My gf called them several times as well. The cold part is, when they finally had someone contact us, it was the original manager at the Kent location that wouldn't help us in the very beginning. The Kent location and corporate are angering. I've rented from Enterprise for decades, and I've never experienced this treatment. The Auburn location is great though. I'm just going to stop here and never rent from Enterprise or any of its companies. I wish it were different. My girlfriend even owns one of their vehicles. read more
