Had a great experience at this Enterprise location picking up an insurance rental. The second I walked in the door I was greeted by a very helpful Karlyn, who figured out who I was and had my reservation pulled up before I could even rattle off the confirmation number I was ready with. She and the rest of the team were super friendly even though Coronavirus is presently trying to kill us all. We weren't thrilled with the car class allotted by insurance, so she even helped us call insurance to try and get us into something bigger. Enterprise's IT systems are pretty awesome because without my doing anything, they linked up the insurance reservation at Enterprise with my Executive Elite profile at National. Wow I should have read the reviews before booking my reservation. I reserved a pickup truck via the Enterprise app for 2pm on Sat. Reservation made over a week in advance. I even stopped by in person a few days prior to my trip to make sure that a 4 door pickup truck would be available for my reservation since I normally rent at the airport and realize they don't have a large fleet onsite. The woman at the desk told me not to worry that all of their trucks are 4 door. I left feeling reassured. On Saturday the day of my reservation, I arrived at 2:08pm and the desk agent tells me they are closed and even if they weren't closed, he doesn't have a truck on site anyhow. No apology- just told me I needed to leave. They left me sitting outside on the curb. read more

The staff are nice at this location but takes so long to answer the phone Im literally on hold for 45 mins or longer. I had a blowout on freeway on their vehicle and they did refund me but for some reason Im getting billed extra for my rental. I literally rented for more than a month I should have a discount more than extra fees. I don't understand. read more

I was in a car collision last week and when I needed a rental while my car was getting fixed, the manager at the repair shop had an employee drive me to enterprise and they really did a great job fixing me up. I just returned the car this morning and they even gave me a ride back to the repair shop so I can pick up my car. We are renting a car here but have been waiting since before 11 a.m. amd it is now 1:30 p.m. Our car is on the shop, and we had already walked over a mile to get here so we weren't in a hurry to walk to another rental. Plus what we didn't realize, until about 30 minutes ago, is the first person that waited on us then never put us into the system. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I don't even want a rental car here. But this is the only place the insurance will cover. Make an appointment for pick up at the body shop. It's been 30 minutes and no one's come to pick me up. The distance from the body shop and the rental place is 5 minutes apart. I would walk there if there wasn't a highway in the way. It's really annoying to have a scheduled appointment and for the other party to be late. I have other things to do afterwards than to be waiting for a pick up. read more

Don't try to make a phone reservation with enterprise. I just spoke to the national rep and then was transferred to the local rep in Richardson, TX. They use IP phones or antiquated systems where they constantly cut out and can't hear you. Pathetic! It is a frustrating experience. read more

I can't say enough good things about this location and the staff who work there. LD, Journey, Tyler and everyone else I have rented from are always super helpful and couldn't be nicer. I have rented from them many times over the last few years and have never had an issue. The cars are always clean, run well and the customer service is superb. It's not always easy dealing with customers but they go out of their way to help when things don't go smoothly with someone. People have to realize that not everything goes according to plan and some things are beyond the control of the associate. I highly recommend this location to all of my family and friends! read more

Terrible customer service. Not sure what the rest of you see in this place. Made a reservation last night to be picked up this morning at 9:30am. Show up to Enterprise where they say there is a mandatory waiting period and that they don't have a car for me (aka we screwed up). We agreed that I could come back at 1:00pm when they said they would have a car available. I come back at 12:30pm and they said it would be at least another hour because I wasn't put in the queue despite having agreed that I would come back at 1:00pm and now there are several people already waiting. Ended up having to cancel all together to go somewhere else. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Made a reservation weeks in advance for a sedan. Showed up at 8am sharp on the day of. Waited...sometime after 9am a lady showed me to a SUV. I expressed my concern I wanted a smaller car. They went "okay" and I sat back down. More waiting. Around 10am they showed me to a second SUV and told me that was the smallest car they had. I appreciated the effort, but that communication could use some serious work. If you had just told me up front "we only have SUVs for rent, no sedans" it would have saved me TWO HOURS of sitting at your place watching your customers come in/leave. I left without a car and had to postpone my car repair appt (along with another appointment I was late to). My vehicle is at Calaber having work done and my rental is being covered 100% by insurance. I'm currently on my 2nd vehicle since my Stinger has been in the shop last week. The first rental (Volkswagen Passat) needed maintenance due to driving badly and I returned it for another vehicle due to not feeling safe. They were accommodating to help (only if I brought it in), which was great just a hassle and waste of my time at this point. Now I'm in a nicer vehicle (Kia K5) and before getting in it and signing the rental agreement I was informed "no smoking." Well....the previous Driver did a whole lot of smoking of All kinds in this vehicle as there are ashes all over, the windshield is filthy, and I smell like an ash tray getting out! My question is why would you rent out a vehicle to a customer with it smelling of cigarettes and weed?? So far I have tried to clean the windows and sanitize the best I can but I'm really disappointed with this enterprise experience and my insurance will be notified. My work hours make it difficult to do much and I feel helpless when this happens because I can't leave the hospital. And to make it worse, the K5 registration is expired and I never received an updated rental agreement. This sucks!! read more

If I could give this location negative stars, I would. Based on their inept ability to execute any positive customer service, I wouldn't rent a car from this location if it was the last place on earth. Sounds excessive but it's true. The pics show the front of the building and what it's next to--the access road of 75/Central Expressway. VERY busy. My daughter was dropped there by the service shop that took in her car for repairs following an accident. We had already made arrangements with our insurance company for Enterprise to provide a rental for her. All good. In switching out her belongings, she accidentally left her driver's license behind. That part I understand. What I don't understand is the two employees, Maya and Hortensia, who told her they would not issue her a car because of her age (wrong). They didn't offer to call our insurance company or help her to do so. They told her SHE would need to call the company and work it out. My daughter explained to them her phone was very low and about to die so she was trying to conserve power. No offer to let her use a company phone or borrow a charger. They then let her leave by herself, at 6:00pm, very upset, with the very busy expressway outside, to fend for herself for a ride home, without so much as a "Could we take you somewhere or help you get an Uber?" No, it was Friday at closing time and I'm guessing they had other places to be that were more important and didn't involve my daughter's (their customer) safety. She ended up walking 2 miles to get home. Why wasn't I there, you ask, to help? Because I was still at work. I thought it would work out fine for her to go by herself. She's now 18 and it will be a good experience for her to learn. And, Enterprise would take good care of her and help her through the process. Boy, was I wrong. I rented a car through them that my insurance paid for the first 30 days. I had to keep the car longer because the shop where I had it, needed it longer than expected. When I came in to pay and extend my rental, they gave me the lower rate through that day, but they said I couldn't continue using that car because of an issue with toll and registration. He said he couldn't give me the same rate as insurance and wouldn't let me use a discount code because I didn't have proof I was authorized to use it. (I had a PIN). He said he would give me a reduced rate. The rate was not reduced at all, it was $100 a day. My attorney and my insurance both said I should have continued having the insurance rates, I Feel like they took advantage of me because they knew I had to have a car. I have emailed the asst. manager and have received no reply. read more

I was given a reservation number and paperwork was sent to my email address , unfortunately an employee called me back and informed me there was no suv at that location. After several minutes I called back and this time spoke to a female employee about confirming my reservation; she put me on hold ; and the male that called me earlier stated " he told me the reservation was canceled ". I ask what other kind of vehicle was available ? He stated there were NO vehicles on that lot and none would be available until Monday . The cleaning is offsite from the actual rental facility and the car they provided was a tired silver, bald tired Ford Fusion with 53,957 miles. Awful car from the awful CEO, from the company her grandfather founded. Sad to see such a low bar has been set for the 3rd generation purportedly filled with energy in helping to restore the St Louis community. God help St Louis if this is the person who is renting horrible cars! Streaked dirty windows and all. The employees appeared nice however, they were polite and courteous but no empowerment to make amends or help. Friendly and efficient car rental agency. When I had car troubles this past month, we decided to look into a rental while we purchased our new vehicle. We rented a 2014 Ford Fiesta. It was a wonderful car and I had zero problems with it. It was clean and well maintained. It also had less than 7,000 miles on it. As far as the service end goes, Enterprise was friendly and affordable. It did take about 30 minutes to clean out the car when my husband went to get it. BUT he only booked it the night before. I rented a vehicle from Enterprise at 410 North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas and had a great customer experience with Taviee Bell. She met and exceeded my expectations with my check in and check out. Upon pickup, the lobby was packed with customers checking in and awaiting their vehicles. There were only 2 employees working this Saturday morning (10/7), and despite the stress of these employees trying to handle so many check outs and returns, they both remained very efficient and confident in getting customers handled promptly. Taviee was extremely busy coming in and out consistently within the lobby. She remained very calm, collected, and efficient as she called each customer to follow her outside to their rentals. When she approached me, I was greeted by my name with a smile as she requested that I follow her outside. Her conversation was very pleasant, and I felt valued as a longtime Enterprise customer. We walked around the vehicle to check for damages, and she went the extra mile to show me some of the features of the vehicle, that I questioned her about that may have been confusing and/or complicated after leaving the parking lot. I noted that she is currently a manager trainee, yet I am confident that she is going to make an excellent manager by her abilities displayed upon my pickup and return. Vehicle was a disaster. Could barely see the road he headlights were so dim. They charged me more for this old car than my dealership would for a new car. It had multiple mechanical problems, the fabric was filthy on the seats, and then they had the audacity to charge me $75 for a cleaning fee for a couple pieces of hair from my dog because I put him in it once to take him to the Doctor. I love this location and have been going here for the past 4 years, 2-5 times a year. Always clean, prompt, and professional. This team will show you pure, classic customer service, top to bottom. Of all the times I've rented here I've had one single wrongful charge issue, 2 years back, which they helped me to resolve immediately. For me, it's just further proof of what I have said here. I did not choose Enterprise as my rental company. I was assigned this company through USAA, the insurance company of the person who damaged my car. However, regardless of the situation, I will never rent from Enterprise again. Particularly, the Addison location. It is completely mis-managed and they do not take care of their renters. I had to call so many times and go by that location on multiple occasions because my rental had a technical issue. When I tried to swap out the car, they informed me I could take it to get fixed, on my own time, at one of their affiliated repair facilities because they didn't have any more cars to give me. I had to use my own time & money to keep adding air to the low tire. I was also not informed that I would be paying my own tolls while driving the rental, so I didn't call my toll agency to inform them of the temporary car so I could get my rates on the tolls. Now I have been charged the much higher rates and the manager at the Enterprise Addison location was unapologetic and extremely unfriendly. Definitely not manager material. Just a warning not to use this location of Enterprise, much less the company itself. read more
