Their solution to honoring online rentals is to have the customer uber to their Cypess location and hope they can rustle up a car by the time the client gets there. According to their service associate, any misinformation or inability to honor reservations is not their fault and clients are instructed to contact "corporate". If this were an isolated case I'd probably let it go. It isn't. Another person with a reservation was directed to this office by his insurance company. The only available vehicle for him is a pick up truck and he will have to wait an hour or more until the enterprise employee returns from picking up another client in Cerritos. I have rented from enterprise at airports for years and always get good service. The lack of accountability at community bases offices is crazy.

Tampa Bay location: Avoid this place like THE PLAGUE! First…read moreoff, we couldn't find where to take shuttle and they don't answer the phone to try to find instructions or schedule a shuttle pick up from the airport, Awesome right? Once we finally figured it out, we had to wait 30 minutes for the shuttle with all our luggage and exhausted kids in tow. Upon arrival, there was nobody at the front desk and a line of 4 patrons frustrated with no one in site. When someone finally did arrive, they attended to patrons out of order, interesting. The first guy came back in and his car wouldn't start. The attendant disappeared again. Oh and the best part, there was a HUGE can of Mike's Hard Lemonade in the mini fridge behind the desk!!! Very professional and classy. When we were finally attended to they couldn't find our reservation through Expedia. Confirmation number provided, insufficient. Booking email provided, insufficient. According to the front desk, we were supposed to pick it up by 10:30am or it should've been canceled. If we're arriving in Tampa at 4:30pm, how can we pick up a car by 10am? Oh it gets better... 1) They would not accept the credit card that we originally paid the reservation with. 2) a Debit card purchase would've resulted in doubling the cost of the rental as they charge $14/day additional for using a debit card. What was supposed to be a $290 car rental was going to cost us now $600. 3) They didn't accept the insurance we purchased through Expedia for the car rental But wait there's more! The wretched front desk attendant then she said she was doing us a favor by still accepting our reservations because we were supposed to be there at 10:30am and because we had a problem with all the additional charges she wasn't going to rent a car to us anymore and there would be a cancellation fee, even though she was refusing service to us. She let her ego get in the way of providing customer service to my family of 5 who were exhausted after waking up at 3am PST to catch an early morning flight. No warning, no communication just sat there typing until I asked her how much longer we had to wait to which she replied "You're good to go". I reminded her we didn't have keys and that's when I found out that she had cancelled the reservation. So to reiterate, avoid this place like the plague. Horrendous customer service, lack of communication, terrible instructions, hidden fees galore, alcohol in the fridge, and horrible front desk attendant. Spend the money elsewhere
