Upon walking in, the person who helped me was not welcoming or friendly at all. His tone was off, and I found myself matching that energy just to get through the interaction. He asked questions like where I was employed, which felt unnecessary and a bit intrusive for the situation. The car I selected only had a quarter tank of gas, which I found inconvenient. I wish they offered a fuel service so that cars could go out with at least a half tank, or ideally, a full one. A quarter tank barely gets you anywhere. That said, the vehicle itself worked well, and I was happy with how it performed. Upon returning the car, the staff member who assisted me was much more pleasant and professional. I had seen him during my initial visit, but unfortunately, he wasn't the one who helped me at the time. His attitude made a noticeable difference. I also appreciated that they offered a ride back to the auto body shop, I only waited about 5 minutes, which was great. They took my husband and I, and another customer. The driver let me know that they typically offer rides and can even pick you up if you're within 3-5 miles. That's good to know for future visits. read more

I came to drop off a rental I had for a week. The guy asked "how was it?" I told him "the car was a little small." His reply was maybe I should rent a bigger car. And my response was, "maybe when someone puts in for a reservation on Saturday and they come in Monday for their reserved vehicle of a midsized you probably should not have rented out all your reserved vehicles to your walk in customers." He responded with, "let me give you my card and I can give you....." I had to interrupt and told him, "I don't want your card, what you need to do is when someone reserves a vehicle, keep it reserved for that customer & don't just rent them all out to your walk ins that don't have reservations" "I look into this" was his response. read more

I rented a car over the weekend for a trip and had placed my order expecting to pick up my car on Friday at 10am. When I arrived it was pretty dead in the store and one of the workers said they had taken my car in early in the morning to get an oil change. He called a few times and was unable to contact anyone so he told me I could wait or just come back later. I live all the way across town so that really disappointing to hear. After about 2 hours or not hearing any updates I called to check if my car was going to be ready and they told me that they were cleaning it and to come in 30 min. When I arrived, it still wasn't finished and I waited maybe 15-20 more minutes. At this point I had the car, it wasn't the one I had ordered but we were able to make it work. I had ordered a mini van with a bit more trunk space since there were 7 of us including a toddler and we had bags and strollers and such and was given an SUV. Like I said, we made it work but things were tight. So after about a 4 hour delay to our trip it was handled. The car was nice and got us from point A to point B. The employees were nice when I had returned to pick up that second time but most of them very clearly don't want to be there. Returning the car this morning was simple, check out was easy. But I probably won't be coming back to this location if I ever need to rent another car. They just don't seem to care very much. read more

Was sent here by AAA insurance. Service was not bad, however the vehicle I got look like it's been in a wreck. The bumper was badly damaged both the front and back. They didn't offer another vehicle and I feel like there is some safety concerns with the car. Service rep asked if I ask for another vehicle. I replied "if I have to ask for another vehicle, then it means your customer service have failed by offering customer a car that looks like it has been in a wreck". read more

This place was friendly and fast. They will get you in and out in a jiffy. Return service was so quick, I didn't even make it inside and they were already out the door checking me in. I have never had a bad experience here. We rented a mini van however it was Saturday,we waited for it to return almost an hour, We were offered an upgrade so we took it. This car was beautiful. I did not want to return it. I honestly would of bought it. It was that nice. The employees are always friendly and efficient. I have rented 6 or 7 cars maybe more from this location. Upon receiving my rental, it was dirty! For a company that continuously says that they have a clean pledge, it was not very clean. When I told the representative, he gave me a Clorox wipe, what the hell, should give me back my deposit since I have to clean the car, I'm basically working for free. Then my car had a crack in the windshield, I told them I did not want to be liable for a spread window shield chip. They told me to call back later because they had no other cars. I called back later the same issue, no cars. I asked to speak with the manager and I was on hold for over 20 minutes with no answer. I contacted their phone support and they said they had a replacement car for me, but that was not the case. I contacted customer service again this morning and the lack of empathy and justification of this location was flabbergasting. read more

We had a good interaction with the young lady that assisted us here the day of our pick up. But the condition of the two cars that we had options from, were not well cleaned on the interior side and both had tires concerns with them, leading to a mail in one that had been returned previously and another having a rear tire sensor keep alerting to put air in. Upon return of our vehicle the interaction with the guy from here was meehh. At this point the CC that I asked to be used at the final return is not the correct card charged BUT the initial card that I started the sign up with. So now I have TWO cards with enterprise name attached to them. Not happy to see this. I have had so many other great experiences, with enterprise in general over the years, definitely don't want this to be the experience that steers me in another direction. For this particular location in general, please let's re evaluate the processes protocols here. read more

I started renting a company vehicle from this Enterprise back in May of 2022 and I've had to stop in once a month since in order to renew my rental agreement. I reserved a 4x wheel drive vehicle in advance and I called to make sure they had it. They let me know that they didn't have it, but gave me a time to come back when they would have more available. I came back during that time and was able to get a 4x wheel vehicle. I didn't do my research ahead of time and wasn't prepared to show residency documentation, but nonetheless, everything worked out! Every month I've had to come back in and renew my contract has been an absolute breeze. I've had interactions with many of the employees and they've all been kind, accommodating, and easy to work with. I'm always in and out within 15 minutes. After seeing some of the reviews on yelp and google, I just wanted to share my numerous experiences! My advice is to call the location ahead of time to check on wait times, if they have the car you reserved online, and to confirm everything you need when you arrive. read more

i had a horrible experience with them. first my car was dirty and smelled like smoke, prior to that they tried to give me a little smart looking tiny car. but my man complaint is the manager mario straight lied to me about my deposit. i returned the car in on monday the 10th and they told me that it usually takes 2-3 business day for me to recieve my deposit. so friday icalled because i still didn't recieve my deposit and got on the phone with mario, he said oh we summited your return on monday and i will email you the receipt showing so and i don't know why its taking so long this is very unusual i will contact the office who takes care of that to see what is the hold up. so no follow up call no receipt email to me so now 4 days later i called the corp ofc and they said that your deposit refund was summited on the 14th, the day i called to follow up. so they got managers lying to customers basically. instead of owning the mistake they lied. thats sad and he had the nerve to tell me sorry for the miscommunication, no you lied. own that. read more

Amazing service. WE just left home with out rental and noticed the low tire pressure light in. We mapped the closest Enterprise. It isn't too far froM 5, the closest in Stockton. We pulled up. There was no parking for "I have a car and no I'm not returning it. We parked on some lines Nd the Honey walked. The place was packed, my honey, wearing a suit and tie as we were on our waiting too a work meeting. The gal at the desk called him up and all of a sudden he's back at the car. I jump out and use there very clean bathroom, lucky for me, it's a long trip. By the time I came out, the lobby wAs still packed. I could hear someone saying we're overly busy. And the tires were filled and we left, that was amazing service. read more

This enterprise waived the fee allowing my family to leave the vehicle in San Diego without getting charged. I'll always use this location because of this. read more

If I could rate a negative number I would do so. Everything was fine until I returned the vehicle. I picked it up on a Friday and asked if they were able take me back to work when I returned it on Monday morning. They replied "yes...of course. Anything within 15 miles." Perfect...with that being said I did not bring another driver with me. When I got there for the return they told me that they can't take me back to work because it was over 5 miles. Not 15 miles...5 miles. My job is 8 miles away and they refused to take me there so I was stranded. That was ABSOLUTEY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever experienced there. Didn't realize until my charging phone died along with my GPS action.  Sigh. Rep (phoned) said I could take it in a Pepboys to have it checked and repaired.  After consideration.  No way. We have many challenges on the car rental this trip. We picked up car rental in Arizona . In the middle of trip the breaks become not working well. Over the weekend, finally able to switch car in airport and only available car is a mini cooper. our luggage barely fit in but at least feeling safe to drive. On Monday we went to auto drive Stockton California location . We ask for something bigger either Monday or Tuesday. I guess we spoke another alien language, after 3 hours wait they tried to give us even smaller car because " we don't have reservations " The whole process became everyone is angry and the store manager said he is no longer want to help us!! Then, we switched to hunter st location in Stockton. Eric is the angel, he communicates with professional attitude which is what a customer service supposed be. Me and my husband are both working in customer service and we know we are not mean customers, we just asking for assistance and want to be safe and comfortable in our trip. I rent from the Tracy location. The stockton location sucks. Spoke to manager even with a drivers license proof of residence and more they want a paystub and proof of auto insurance and that proof has to be full coverage. Way to invasive to rent a car. What happens if its an insurance claim and your insurance pays....they still want extra docs. Manager said it is because enterprises risk management says due to area they want all those extra things. People without cars who want to rent will not generally have insurance and when they do it is only good on your car not the rental! I understand the risk part but they need to find another way they are losing business to protect profits which seems dumb in my opinion. For a easy fast rental process leave stockton rent from sac bay or tracy or simply try another company. read more
