How easy is Tesla I mean talk about stream line. We stopped in for a test drive and it's zero headache. The entire process is zero pressure zero stress they really remodeled the way a dealership should operate under. We ended up right there and then taking advantage of the .99% apr offer and ordered a Model Y. Since they didn't have any they had to have one built which was slated for 1-3 week delivery and it was exactly one week and we had our brand new Tesla 15 miles on it I've never bought a brand new vehicle like this and I can honestly say my next will be a Tesla cyber truck just because of how easy and stress free the process is. read more

Julisa is a horrific human! She has no empathy or sense for doing what is right or fair for the customer. I had an appointment to service my vehicle for a defect. Show up at the time (early morning) and date of my appointment. No loaner is available despite being one of the first appointments of the day... I have to pick up my kids from school in the afternoon and can leave the vehicle until the and return it after that's done. Alright let's figure out how to work around that right? Nope, Julisa said 'if you can only leave the vehicle for that short of a period of time, you might as well reschedule' Wait, what? If I need the vehicle for 1hr or less of the day to pick up my kids and can return it after since there is no loaner available then I have to reschedule for another time there is also no guarantee of a loaner being available? Makes no sense. After her rude and condensing attitude, I left and called corporate customer service to complain. Did anyone from Camarillo ever call me back? Nope. I rescheduled my service for weeks later (next available appointment) in Thousand Oaks and was able to get taken care of WITHOUT the rude attitude AND got a loaner vehicle without issue. Customer service is about find ways to solve a customer's concern... Julisa doesn't adhere to that mindset. If you're having a great day and need to be knocked down a few pegs, stop by Tesla of Camarillo and try to get help from Julisa... she'll have your spirit broken in short order and ruin your day for you. Tesla needs all the positive customer experiences possible right now and Julisa is single-handedly undermining that goal one customer at a time. I hope that someone at Tesla reads this and takes action... I'm sure I can't be the only customer to have voiced concern over her toxic attitude and 'Karen' approach to service. read more

Dennis was amazing! Was hard to find the car I wanted in time for an ending lease deal and he found the car. He also saw the car I was turning in and advised me to have the window tint removed prior to turning in the lease. Tesla would have charged me $400 to remove it and i was able to get it done locally for $150 before ending the lease. One of the reasons I continue buying Teslas is how easy it is. I have only been to this Tesla Service Center twice, and unfortunately both experiences involved extremely poor customer service. I had a service appointment scheduled for 10:30 AM. Ahead of time, I texted to ask about the availability of a loaner vehicle and was told it was on a "first come, first serve" basis. I arrived early at 10:15 AM only about 15 minutes after the service center opened hoping I might be able to secure one. When I asked about a loaner upon arrival, the advisor, Chad, appeared surprised by the question and responded that none were available. His demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. When I then asked about Uber credits as an alternative, he looked me up and down and told me I could just wait and it won't take long. People working at Tesla think they're Elon Musk. read more

Since buying our first Tesla in 2018 I have regularly worked with several sales and service reps in two Tesla offices in the Conejo and West Valley areas. I have generally found Tesla reps ok to work with; but there was something special about the Camarillo Office and the interaction I had with Kevin that I felt compelled to post on Yelp! We ordered our car from Camarillo then were informed we would have to drive three hours one way to get it when it was finally ready. Had a small issue with the insurance, was on hold for over an hour and a half before we just hung up. We like the vehicle, although the build quality is poor. You can feel wind coming in from the outside on the freeway for example. When you do get a person they are helpful, but Tesla, please remember we're people not computers. Car was under warranty and had a few error codes (albeit self inflicted) and they were more than happy to take my car in for a check up. I though service centers usually closed at 5PM, as my ETA for a tow was around 6:30PM. I was talking to my tow truck driver how I'm pretty sure they closed at 5. Luckily, there was a service advisor readily available, so I was already beyond satisfied. Throughout the process, I was given updates via messaging and phone calls. The app makes it super easy to check exactly where they are in the repair process. My advisor, Adolfo, was more than helpful and communicative throughout the process. When I arrived for pickup, He was there on the spot to assist me, and even answered a few questions I had regarding the car (and showed me what to do to avoid error codes again). Although my Model 3 was a little dirty from technicians scuffling around and being left under a tree, a quick car wash and wipe down seemed to suffice. Tesla dealerships continue to amaze me on their level of customer service and environment. Unlike gasoline cars where the maintenance area is dirty (from the various fluids) and waiting room isn't as new, Tesla has a clean, well lit interior, with well presented service advisors who were super helpful. read more

The recent sales event was a blast for me. Where else could one get nowadays a 0.99% interest loan but here! No hassle sales inquiry and no hackling purchase made it too much to resist from buying a new car. All you need was to ask the specialist sitting at the counter and he would very much obliged to help. Since they were not commissioned salesperson, they may ignore your presence sometimes. Once they had your attention, they were pretty much helpful. Getting a loan sponsored by Tesla was also a bit challenging. Once applied, it went to the ether and won't hear anything from it, again, unless, the loan was rejected for any reason or being approved. The most wonderful thing was that one could keep track of his/her purchase except loan status through the Tesla app including the insurance. It is pretty difficult to deal with Tesla before your appointment. Everything is done in the app and it's pretty difficult to contact them with questions. Things do move pretty smoothly but I prefer talking with someone. Also when I purchased the car they told me that they would offer Uber credits if loaner cars were not available. They discontinued this. Once in the dealership the techs, sales people and service representatives were all very friendly and took care of my issues. Kevin, a Sales Associate went above and beyond to help me out. All my dealings in person have been great, the only problem is actually getting someone to talk to. The cost of repair for my tire and rim was quite expensive. I guess since I have an expensive car, I have to deal with that. Also I had to have the car towed because of a flat time some time ago. Something I could have dealt with had I had a spare. Also the 12v battery died and I had to have the car towed as I got no notice that there was a problem. With all the technology you would think something like that would be easy to notify the driver. My car lost more than 60% of its value due to Tesla's pricing. I really loved Tesla, but I am not sure I will get another one when I am ready to trade this in. read more

Not going back for service Simply went to get new tires They struck out: Strike one: sent me a more expensive estimate the day before the service Strike two: day before said they would be done at 2pm. I planned accordingly. Once dropped off the app told me they were shooting for 5pm. Ended up finishing about 1.5 hours late Strike three: said they can send Uber credits. Like they texted me they can give them. When I asked for them, they changed their story and said they couldn't. Even when they finished later than they told me and they knew I needed them, they made sure to tell me that they can NOT send them. Why would I bother to give them my money again? Keep in mind this was all communicated solely through the tesla app via text I did my part, dropped it off on time, paid They did not do their part. I saw no ones face and did not have anything communicated to me via voice or face to face. No person to person interaction=no accountability, no remorse I can only say that I'll be seeking out a place that simply calls when the plan changes and there is a face to face conversation with a handshake that happens when I'm dropping $2k+ next time read more

I recently purchased a 2026 Tesla Model Y. This review, however, is not about the vehicle itself. Rather, the review is about the buying experience in general and the sales advisor, Johan Perez, in specific. During my lifetime i have purchased many vehicles, both new and used. In most instance, the car buying experience at the dealership is, to put it mildly, very stressful. Getting bounced back and forth between the sales person and the sales manager, trying to work out a final price, is never fun. But not with Tesla, where the purchase experience was both seamless and painless. It should be noted that I could have simply gone online, ordered my new car and waited for it to be delivered. Instead I chose to go to the Camarillo store and order from a live person. This is where Johan Perez came in. Johan fully, patiently and clearly answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. The Model Y is my first EV and I was full of questions, from the best way to charge at home, to what the service intervals are. This is very new technology and I wanted to make sure that I fully understood what I was getting into. Johan had answers for all of my questions and even anticipated questions and concerns that I had not even considered. After answering all of my questions Johan arranged for a test drive. He "drove" the car to the Camarillo Outlet Stores and back to the dealer. I put drove in quotes because Johan set up the Full Self Drive and the car, like something out of a Buck Rogers movie, headed to the Mall, navigated around other cars and pedestrians and then, like a good robot, drove itself back to the dealer. Needless to say, I was almost SOLD. Then, under Johan's direction, I got to drive it around Camarillo and by now I was nearly in love with the car. Johan noted my hesitation and to clinch the "deal" arranged for a 48 hour demo. I took a Model Y home for an extended 48 hour test drive. By the end of the 48 hour period I was definitely in love with the Model Y. As I wrote earlier, I could have done all of this online on Tesla's very easy to navigate website. But going to the actual dealer and talking to Johan made the experience easier and, in a way, more fun. Johan is a great guy and a terrific representative for Tesla. Thank you Johan, you helped make this old ICE vehicle guy a convert to the world of EVs. read more

My husband, baby and I arrived at the dealer to a mostly empty facility with one woman at the counter on the phone. After about five minutes she puts the customer on hold and tells my husband if we're here for service they have no loaners and would need to keep our vehicle for a couple days. We were surprised as we didn't talk about the vehicle's concerns yet, but she kept repeating that the appointment time is not an appointment for repair, but to drop off the vehicle to wait in queue for repair. As he asked questions about the appointment/queue she continuously interrupted him so much he had to ask her to please stop interrupting. She continued with a bad attitude so we cancelled the "queue" appointment and just walked out. Extremely disappointed with the customer service and poor communication. Needing to still repair my vehicle I called Santa Barbara service department and received the best customer service ever. She immediately scheduled for next day actual service (not queue) and promised vehicle same day. Upon arriving today I was pleasantly surprised that they not only were able to complete the repair today but they completed it within an hour. If you are able to make it to Santa Barbara I highly recommend you do. The customer service there is amazing. read more

Two words for this Tesla Camarillo site: Kevin Delgado. Period. This is my 2nd Tesla. The first one was not with Kevin and basically I was all on my own from another site. Little did I know, there is an actual person to help along the way! Day and night difference! Kevin took care of me 110%. The moment I inquired about the car, he was on top of it. There was a July 4th celebration event - he took care of me. Answering any questions both technical and logistics questions (and any time of the day) - he took care of me. He was along the whole journey from beginning to end. Even with test driving he presented me with any options I inquired about - just made me feel special and well treated. And when I placed the order he was there to make sure things went smooth 100%. To add a cherry on top, even after I purchased my vehicle he followed up to make sure things were a-okay. I made an appointment with Tesla to repair my car. My screen has a yellow boarder --- a well-known defect in Tesla car. After trying to get me to upgrade my system, which I declined, the Tesla rep (Shawn) refused to contact the CarMax warranty provider to give them some basic information necessary to cover the repair. I was profiled in this dealership. I made an appointment weeks in advance and asked for a loaner car. I got a response pretty much immediately that its 'first come first serve. I got the first appt of the day and was the second person in line. The person before me was not a warranty appt so he was not given a car. I asked for a loaner since I have a lot of errands that day. I was told there aren't any available and was given an Uber credit. When I came back with the tech for a ride along after about 20 mins, there was a Caucasian guy on the counter who was given a loaner. The front desk guy even apologized as there is a little dent on the driver side. The tech and the front desk specially Julisa were all very polite, professional and friendly. I was eventually given a loaner at the end of the day because they have to keep the car overnight. The loaner was so disgusting. It was unbelievably dirty in and out. It was disgusting and quite frankly disrespectful. On the day I returned the car after hours, there was a front runner or a ford truck that is being power washed in front of service bay. Im pretty sure it was for one of the employees. They could have at least power washed the car for a customer as a courtesy but it may be too much or what they do for a minority like me. I have proof that this happened and was going to bring this up to Tesla corporate but it's not easy to get through them so I thought I'd start here. I don't plan on pushing the issue any further but I will avoid this dealership from now on. It's unfortunate. Tesla cars are not cheap and Ive owned and other luxury cars like BMW and Mercedes. I love my car, I've owned 4 Tesla's but they have to keep up with the same way other luxury car dealerships treat their clientele let alone getting discriminated against. read more

Restrooms are super old and filthy. They need to be updated especially considering they belong to Elon Musk. Now the sales representatives they were amazing.
