The combination of fresh fish, octopus, and calamari was bright and refreshing, with just the right citrus kick. The plantain chips and sweet potato on the side were the perfect companions -- a classic Peruvian pairing done right. Easily one of the best ceviches I've had. The Lomo Saltado was a bit more of a mixed bag. The fries were phenomenal -- crispy, well-seasoned, and totally craveable -- but the beef came out a little tough and dry, which is a shame for a dish that's all about that tender, savory stir-fry experience. Hopefully an off night, because everything else suggested the kitchen has real talent. Overall, Incas Grill is worth a visit, particularly if you're a ceviche lover. This is the third time in a row that I had to wait over an hour for the food to be ready. The place is fine and I feel really bad for the server. Came by on a weekday evening for dinner with some friends. The price threw me for a loop, but I will admit the food really was delicious (and I was able to take some home)! All of the food was well seasoned, hot, and filling. A must try for people unfamiliar with Peruvian food. The appetizer was huge (and pricy, but it was all seafood) and the flavor was amazing. Even the ice cream was good. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Light music, cultural pieces in the decor, a mix of chill family restaurant with slightly fine dining. I went for first time to this place on a Wednesday, the food and the service was great, I was that impressed that I took my best friend that same week but In a Saturday. This time I had the worst experience, the food was awful and the service was really disgusting. I asked the server (a mature Latino man) that I wanted extra aji or rocoto to go and this guy screamed at me from two tables further that I needed to pay for the aji because he wasn't the owner of the place. I felt completely humiliated by his action, his behavior with me as a client was so disrespectful, I wasn't asking for free aji, he didn't have to scream , he acted like he was in a flee market and had no respect for clients. You could tell that they don't care about the quality of the dishes when is busy which is unfortunate because most people go to restaurants on weekends and if they are gonna have good food only on weekdays and lower completely their food quality when is busy then what kind of business is that! You need to hire servers that are respectful and considerate not this people who don't know how to treat people who is going to spend their money on your restaurant I made a comment about my experience on the restaurant TikTok page and instead of taking it seriously; they erased my comment! Sad to say they have disappointed me too many times lately. I even invited some neighbors and friends, only to have them tell me the same thing. They liked the flavors, but ... very unsatisfied with the protein portions the dishes contained. Specially with the higher prices. Not even that consistent with the proper flavors lately, while they used to be mostly good, and only consistent with how little protein they're actually serving. They should be ashamed for serving such small portions and expecting that people will go back and pay their consistently higher prices. Very sad to have to say that other people have told me they do not want to go back there anymore. Can't blame them! Too many times, and too disappointing. I hope they will correct and improve on their portions, as people are more aware now and commenting. Customers only go back if the food tastes consistently good, and the portions are well balanced, with a healthy portion of protein. It is only fair given your prices have increased. My family and I have been coming to Incas Grill for years! We went this week to celebrate my husbands birthday with some delicious Peruvian food. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the Jalea, mixed seafood ceviche, picante de camarones, and the mixed seafood fried rice. The food came out hot and fresh. The seafood was so delicious and we loved the variety of flavors in all the dishes. Our favorite part is their specialty hot sauce that we like to add to all dishes. I don't understand the 1 star reviews as Incas Grill has been great every time my wife and I have eaten there. It's our go-to Peruvian restaurant. The BEEF HEARTS here are so good! I'll come back for those over and over. Tender and tasty! They're on a skewer and have an intense grill flavor to them from the perfect char. The second item I will come back here for is the purple corn drink, chi cha Morada. It's on the sweet side so you've been warned in case that's not your ideal drink. It's flavored with cinnamon, pineapple, green apple, and purple corn. Also ordered their fried calamari and a seafood soup here that are decent. Fried calamari was enough for 2-3 people to share. The time I came for the seafood soup it actually took a long time to come out and it is a big portion but also pretty pricey for a soup. This place isn't usually busy because it's outside the main Concord food scene area. It is in a plaza area with different stores so that's convenient if you want to do a little shopping after. Update for my review for breakfast: I ordered a juice that said was $4. I asked if its possible to mix 2 juices pineapple and strawberry. They charged me 8$ for the juice for juicing 2 fruits, without notification, without really an "I'm sorry, we should've discussed it when you placed your order" instead I got "oh yeah, we charge 8$ for a surtido (which actually should've been a mixture of all fruits, not just one additional) or actually even the size shouldve increased if they are going to charge you double the actual price. They are also very stingy with their aji, they charge $1 per little plastic container. Food is okay, but overpriced. Disappointed ice been going here for about 4 years now. And the dish I get is tallarines a la Huancaina. Its my favorite dish, nothing like ice ever had before cheesy with a hint of spice. It's this beautiful yellow color, over the last SEVERAL times (I'm talking more then 5x) I've ordered it and it's so watered down, like if they aren't even adding any aji to it. Starting from there, we knew that customer service probably wont be okay, but the guy was very nice, and should be i guess, because the The food was taste less, and overpriced for what you get. I didn't ask for it to him because was busy with more tables and was him the only waiter. But I did it, and now I know why, it's because they charged $2.50 for a scoop of rocotto, and without that and more salt the ceviche wouldn't be okay to be eaten. My wife and I went to dinner at Incas Grill last night. We had previously gone to "Lima" in downtown Concord and enjoyed that restaurant until it closed a while back. Incas Grill has even better food and the wait staff was friendly and welcoming. They have several Peruvian beers and many Pisco-based cocktails--all very good! We had a couple of appetizers which were both very good. My wife had one of the seafood plates and was impressed with the flavor and tenderness. My meal was also excellent. Not my first time, but today, 10/05/24, was the worst time and my last one. People in the kitchen were eating as they cook, my bistec/beef was red when I asked for well done. They took my food, one of the cooks grabbed the same meat with the tongs they were using at that time. My husband has worked in restaurant and he did not like, not a bit, that action.
