I have one hour lunch break for work and decided to indulge and order out instead of packing a lunch. I call in 20 mins before my break started and ordered the lasagna lunch special that came with rolls and a salad. The lady told me it would be 30 mins which I was shocked but then realized well it must be freshly made. To my surprise I waited 30 mins and picked up my food and even tipped without checking since the pay system prompts you to tip. I get to back to work and I work 4 mins away and my food is cold. Lasagna cold, rolls cold and salad old. Thankfully my office has a microwave but who wants to reheat food they just ordered, despite my hesitation I reheated the rolls and lasagna because I was hungry. I had to wait again. Last time I order from these people. I placed an order at 1:35pm. I called back at 3pm since I had still not received my order. The receptionist (Natalie) said it would take them another 15-20 minutes for the order to arrive (didn't even apologize). It was as if it was a normal occurrence. The delivery guy finally came at 3:20pm but had the wrong order. He apologized and told me that he delivered my order to the previous customer but that he would go and get it from them and then deliver it to me. I called the restaurant to request a refund. The receptionist tried to prevent me from cancelling the order and said the driver was on his way back with my order after picking it up from the store. When I told her that I did not want the food delivered because it had been nearly two hours and that I was aware that the order was delivered to the previous customer, she said she could not give me a refund because the manager was not in. Once you walk in they check for temps and have hand sanitizer to make sure they are doing there part to protect there workers and the guest !!!!! I came to this place out of curiosity after visiting the nearby supermarket on my family vacation. I couldn't believe how well they take care of their customers. I loved it so much that I decided to take the whole family again before we left Florida and they loved it as well. Enzo's give complimentary garlic knots which are to die for and their pizza is by the best I've tasted and that includes the ones from New York. They are so welcoming and attentive. This place has really gone down hill. This is really 2 reviews in 1 and it still 1 star. The customer service is here is laughable. What really has kept me and the family ordering from here was always the flavor. But even that has declined. When you have way beyond late times, no customer service, and an average flavor. It equals to a decline of your business. A month ago I ordered a pizza and they told me 45 minutes. I get there to pick it up. I was greeted and my payment was taken. The girl told me it will be right out. 10 minutes later I'm standing to avoid sitting because they were cleaning constantly. But not 1 person dining in at 7:30p. 10 minutes later the girl is telling the guy making the pizzas I have been waiting. 10 minutes later they finally give me my pizza. 75 minutes later I was given my food. Not even an apology for the delay. Today I decided to give them one more try. I ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered at 6:30p. They told me 45-1 hr. Ok. I guess because it's dinner time it may take some time. 1:30min later. Pizza came nice and cold. B Also every restaurant has updated to at least putting a "tamper" tag on the boxes. This used to be a great local place to eat. Sadly, the quality and customer service has become abysmal. I normally eat from here 1-3 times a week and spend a decent amount of money with them. Tonight I ordered the Pasta Combo. The Pasta Combo is described as a combination of lasagna, manicotti and stuff shells. I've ordered meals like they from numerous places up and down the east coast. I was shocked when they handed me a tiny container. I thought it was just the lasagna and they told me it was all in there. I brought it home and was shocked to find a 1.5"x 1.5" piece of lasagna, A manicotti, and A stuff shell (not shellS) like they describe on the menu). I called and spoke to the manager. I told him how it seemed like something was very wrong since the meal was so tiny and only came with A stuff shell not stuffed shellS like in the menu description. He told me that he's not like other places and this is how he's been packaging this meal for the last three years. I pointed out that saying shells in the menu but only supplying one shell was false advertising but he didn't care. They had no desire to apologize or offer to switch it out for something else. I may be just one person, who just spent a couple hundred dollars a week there, so they won't care that I'm sadly not patronizing their establish again. This was a great place to eat but all the community reviews about how poor the customer service has become and how bad the food quality is now are sadly true. This is an awesome spot for a delicious quick meal. I had planned on going out for a fancier meal while visiting the area; however nothing in the area looked appealing. I had heard good things about Enzo's and it was very close to my hotel so we decided to give it a try. I was very impressed by the friendly staff and the cleanliness of Enzo's. They even have a cool personalized fish tank in the front of the restaurant. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and it was very tasty! Great flavor, made fresh to order, very filling! I was in a hurry and ordered ahead a few slices of pizza. I got there, paid, and tipped; and they tried to tell me that I couldn't eat the food there inside their restaurant. Not because they were closed, closing early, cleaning, or any other reasonable reason... it was simply because they don't want you to get your food at the counter and eat! Insane... Stumbled upon this on Yelp and had to stop by because of the reviews as well as naming my son Enzo last month. Will definitely be stopping by again because the food was amazing. I had the chicken parmigiana which was perfect and plenty of food for the price and my husband had a chicken caesar wrap which he also enjoyed and was a pretty good size. Service was great,our waiter was very nice and attentive. Complimentary garlic knots were a plus, they tasted very good. Have been trying to find a pizza place in Weston area for a while and never thought of coming to this part of town. It's sunrise and weston. Ordered calamari and the marinara was so good!! I have been a customer at this restaurant for many years, but tonight was over the top I placed an order and after an hour and 45 minutes I called to find out where my order was I was told it was on its way and of course it did not arrive, I called the restaurant again they told me to call back in another 10 minutes if I hadn't received my order so in another 10 minutes I called back again and I was told they didn't know where my order was and was told I could wait another half hour or they would refund my money. I asked to speak to the owner or the manager and the woman on the phone told me they were too busy to talk to me and call back another day I asked her if this is how she always treated customers and she said this is what the owner would say. Unfortunately they've lost a good customer I understand mistakes happen but there is no reason to be rude and to treat customers with disrespect. The food itself is good. Rolls are great and pizza is pretty good. If food is all you care about than you'll have a good time. The reason for my 2 star review is that my wife and I are big on service. We don't mind paying premium for good restaurants, Disney Cruise's instead of others, etc, because we value customer service. I live 2 blocks away from this place and have gone there multiple times in the past year. The last time I went, only one person wanted a type of pizza, so we asked if they minded attempting to make 1/4 of a pizza a certain way. The server said, "No, we wont do that". I explained that I was a regular customer and there was literally only one other occupied table and she said "you think you're the only regular customer that comes here?". I was taken back by that, but then requested one more time that the cook attempt it, and even if he didn't get it exactly right I would appreciate the effort. She then said "I'll ask him, but he'll say no". She came back and said that they weren't going to do it. Again, this might not be a big deal to most of you readers, but that kind of attitude doesn't go far for me. As most of you know, Antonio's is right down the street. They used to be partners and have similar recipes (In my opinion, even better) and every time I have gone there it has been a great experience. I will avoid Enzo's in the future, which is a shame because I live right behind there, but until the owners correctly bring into perspective the pros and cons of this kind of attitude and attempt to accommodate their customers by retraining their staff, I just don't think it's worth it. Lastly, as you can tell from the owner's response to the other reviewer who was inconvenienced ("Maybe you should bring a towel to your basketball games" says the owner below), it appears that they may care more about their pride than their customers. What they need to realize, is the only ones they are hurting by those kind of responses is themselves. There is a hundred pizza places within driving distance, and if I am choosing this one, it is I who am doing them a favor, not the other way around. I sincerely hope the service changes so I can begin walking there and back again. read more
