    EPIC REUBEN

We got the urban, pickle chips and the Lesley chow. The pickles have a ton of breading on it the Ruben was the best option for what we ordered. I wouldn't get the Lesley chow again.

Thoroughly enjoy their food. Plenty of seating indoor and out. The Yardbird is their chicken salad sandwich and it's always so yummy. The added grapes are the best. They have such a fun environment. They have a Stranger Things themed alphabet wall with makes for an awesome photo op. They have homemade koolaid drinks on the counter which is honestly so cool. The Eptokooler is my favorite! They even have a version without sugar!! Friendly service!

I have visited a number of times and usually been happy. I appreciate the vegan options for certain but this visit was just not at the level I am used to. We ordered a few different things such as the Weird Al ellotte burger was okay. S'mores vegan shake - it had an odd aftertaste,, Vegan beef Sandwich decent but spicy, Was a bit disappointed honestly

I think most people will enjoy something from their menu. It's definitely a destination spot. The place itself is big an open, full of fun things like video games and artwork. Lots of drink options including a few beer taps. Service was friendly and they give you time to digest the massive menu before ordering. The sandwiches I ordered for pickup were VERY messy but also tasty.

Forgot the name, but it was the panini with turkey, avocado, peppers & spicy mayo.

Overall GREAT spot! Paninis were YUMMY!! I would say the prices were a bit on the higher side, but it's totally worth it. First time we visited & most definitely coming back again. They have games & staff was SUPER FRIENDLY :)

The specialty menu always has something interesting, and the regular menu is incredible. Lots of fried goodness for apps, subs and paninis with weird/delicious ingredient combos, and even dessert and drink options. I'm partial to the epic blt and the smoking pope (brie, avocado, spicy onions, red pepper spread, deli chicken, and pork belly on a garlic panini). They even have keto options. It's a little pricey so be prepared. The only thing negative thing I'll say is that everything is pretty heavy, and salty. Still amazing, I just can't do it all the time.

What can I say, this place is epic. Epic deli is a must try if you're in the McHenry area, but I know of people that have driven over 90 minutes to get food from here. It's never a boring meal here. You can get a bacon wrapped hot dog or sandwich with cream cheese spread and Doritos. The options are endless. My favorites: The Khal Drogo - an Italian beef wrapped in a tortilla and deep fried - chimichanga style. The horseradish sauce just sets it off. The cheesecake! They are always serving unique flavors. The best was a two layer cake - raspberry cheesecake with lemon poppy seed cake, iced together with raspberry icing. Too good. Haven't had it in 7-ish years and still thinking about it. The hand cut fries are perfectly crispy. I'm a sucker for good potatoes. They have cherry coke on tap as well as booze fro yo! Check out their Facebook for all their monthly specials.

Delicious food & unique and fun menu items. Quirky decor, lots of video games and art. and menu with a huge variety of options. This spot is a foodies dream. Every thing I've tried here is good. The fries are so crispy and flavorful. The service is great too, such kind workers & quick service. Tons of seating inside & out. Although it may seem it is a bit pricey the servings are huge and have tons of ingredients on it.

The menu at this place is so big it was so hard to choose but I settled for the Screech (Pulled Pork, Root Beer Barbecue Sauce, Fried Chicken Fingers, Mac And Cheese, in a chimichanga) and my friend got the Big Ed (Pulled Pork, BBQ Sauce, Bacon, Onion Straws, Bacon Aioli, Mac and Cheese, in Between Two Grilled Cheese Sandwiches) and the July Special pork rind mozzarella sticks which came with a spicy ranch. I wasn't a huge fan of my chimichanga. It was way too much tortilla and also just not super flavorful. I felt like my arteries were getting clogged eating this big cheesy fried thing My friend loved the big Ed- it was massive and looked delicious. The pork rind mozzarella sticks are so gooey and produce the most satisfying cheese pull. So good! A bit pricey. I paid $14 for my chimichanga which wasn't that big and I was disappointed with how it tasted so I'd say it wasn't worth it. But there are so many choices of things to get so I probably just didn't choose wisely They have tons of desserts like puddings (banana, eclair, chocolate), cheesecakes, shakes, fried assortments of things (Oreos, candy bars) but we were too full on our food to get any

Don't want the Bread ?? Make any Sandwich into a salad for no upcharge ! !

Date of visit: December 13, 2025…read more I love a good Mexican place, and as much as I enjoy Carlos's, it is good to have other options for when I go to visit my friend in the McHenry/Spring Grove area. The restaurant is very large with a variety of seating options including some interesting swings. I say interesting because it's really more of a novelty than anything; honestly, do you really want to have a seat that moves while you're eating chips with salsa? The menu is interesting, with a heavy focus on birria (think brisket, if you're unfamiliar) including in a dipped/fried taco as well as a grilled cheese sandwich, which is what I went with. While the meat in the sandwich was good, there was very little cheese to speak of, and that should be an important component of a grilled...cheese. However the chips and salsa were excellent, with some of the best chips I've had in quite some time, they really taste like more. In terms of the salsa, they are not lying with the "Diablo" in their name. If you are not a fan of spicy, stay away from the salsas as even the mild is fairly potent after a few chips. Also note that sour cream is available but doesn't tend to come WITH things by default, so be prepared to ask for that if it's a key part of your Mexican meals. Also disappointing, the tacos come with raw onions on top. This isn't mentioned on the menu, and was a very unwelcome addition to the dish. Service was a bit of a mixed bag; Jasmine was nice and attentive but struggled on some aspects, including telling us what the three salsas were when she brought them to the table, and saying that birria was a "biscuit," which thoroughly confused us. She asked if we wanted more chips and we declined, but then she brought more anyways.

The food was all excellent from the relish trays, to the beer cheese pretzel ball and mozzarella sticks. Our dinners ranged from prime ribs...fantastic by the wAy, to meatloaf, butt steak, a burger and ribeye. All were cooked wonderfully. Excellent flavor, fresh salads and nicely prepared potatoes.
