So there are not many seafood places here in Colorado, let alone Greeley but this place is a must if you're passing through and want some good sushi and seafood. The service is always great and so friendly and I love the ambiance of the place too! When I go I always sit at the bar and get me a flight of whiskey. Of the many times I have at here, here is a few of the apps I have gotten and loved. My favorite and mostly go to is the crispy Brussels and cauliflower fried topped with bacon and balsamic drizzle, there is also some dippy stuff that comes with it. I don't know what it's called but I freaking love it w the Brussels. Another app I have tried is the kickin shrimp. This is almost like the bang bang shrimp from PF Changs but a little more crispier and tastes much better in my opinion. The sushi rolls I have tried is the spicy tuna, yes it's raw, and so delicious. If you like spicy this is definitely a sushi roll for you. The fish was very fresh and so tender, you almost didn't know you were eating raw fish. Now for the two entrees I have tried, I'll start first with my second favorite which is the fish and chips. The fish is battered to perfection and so crispy along with the fish so flaky and just so yummy. The sides that came w it were fries. They were good. Now onto my number one hands down favorite dish I always get when I come. What can I say I'm a creature of habit. The mahi mahi, , the way they cook it and the flakiness of this fish here is phenomenal, you can either get the rice that comes with it or how I do it I sub it for their fresh asparagus topped with a spring mix and some dressing on top. I use to not like mahi mahi but this place I will eat it until the end of time. Overall this place is a 10/10. We ordered 2 meals, Fish and Chips and the Shrimp Scampi, and 1 starter. The food was good but the Fish & Chips only had 2 really small pieces of fish-disappointed with that. The Scampi was good, too, but was very lightly garlic and butter flavored-also disappointing. Our starter of Pork Potstickers was perfect! The restaurant ambience is nice. The food here was incredible! We went for a Sunday lunch and were so happy with the menu. The oysters were tasty and whatever they have in their mignonette was to die for! Probably the best crispy rice spicy tuna I have ever had. My boyfriend found a new all time favorite roll with the torched salmon roll. It was so unique and yummy as well. I've been here quite a few times. The food has always been fantastic. This trip we enjoyed cedar plank salmon cooked with a mountain jerk sauce and asparagus on the side for the wife. She actually asked for it with the sauce on the side. And when it showed up on the salmon I convinced her to try it before sending it back and she liked it. (She hates spicy foods and was worried it'd be too hot.) She loved her salmon so much she bought some at the grocery store for me to make at home. Lol I had the lucky platter, coconut shrimp, beer bartered shrimp and cod with Fujii apple slaw & snap peas instead of fries. My shrimp was fantastic and the cod was good. The slaw was ok. Ambiance: The restaurant looks tiny on the outside but as you enter the building; it is huge! It's very clean and inviting inside with good lighting. It's moderately loud inside and great for families with kids. No televisions on their walls in the dining area. Service: We were party of 8, and we were seated immediately at 6:15pm, Weds evening. Our server was very courteous and attentive and helpful. Food: Everything we ordered was very good. One of us ordered the fish and chips salmon. He said it was the best fish and chips style he has ever tasted since this dish is usually served with cod fish or white fish. Try this salmon version if you like fish and chips, you will love this rendition! By the way, It comes with French fries and not the British chips. My kids all got sliders and the lobster Mac and cheese and finished everything. My wife and I split the Tortilla soup (delicious), and the bowl is a large portion. We ordered 2 of the Paella de VeraCruz dish for sharing. I believe that this is a Spanish rice dish with seafood (shrimp, clams, etc.) chunks of chicken breast and andouille sausage and some green olives. The flavors were very good but this dish was just way too salty for all of us. The first few bites were good but it kept getting saltier after each bite. We ate all the shrimp and clams and mussels, but the rest of the dish was just too salty to finish. It may have been an "off night" for this dish. Overall I can recommend this place but be careful if you order the Paella dish. read more
