We had been looking for a car for a few days. We tried here. Didn't have what we wanted.

I purchased a vehicle from this business. I financed my vehicle thru my bank and paid for my tags and title out of pocket. I got my hard tags in the mail and drove the vehicle with no issues, only to find out when I went to renew my registration that this business never paid to process my title. Due to this failure on their end I was not able to renew my registration and had to drive 40 minutes to the DMV headquarters to open an investigation. Turns out they are not in good standing with Maryland, therefore MD issued me an extended registration and will process the title request within 7-10 days, which will allow me to renew my regsitration and legally drive my vehicle. . Lastly, so no one thinks I did not try to reach out to this dealer, their phone number just rings w/ no answer and no one responds to the contact me request from their website. **STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS** read more

An honest dealership! While some dealerships pretend that the car is nice, and that they care about customer satisfaction, Epovo auto group does not even pretend. Their salesmen are insulting and immature, and the car I test drove was dangerous to drive (brake pedal depressed to floor and let out a hiss). The tire was also punctured, as the TPMS went off. I asked their mechanic to use their compressor, but he did not have one. I asked the sales guy, who chose to insult me by 1st saying "you're not from around here, are you?", then further insulting me by saying "you talk to much", and not assisting me with the TPMS. read more

I got a Subaru Outback from this place a couple months ago and it will not start, they said they replaced the things that are now LEAKING and dying. So did my boyfriends sister and she's having the same problems with her car. I called today and they started giving me attitude saying the car has 65,000 miles on it and cars go bad and don't last forever. Hmm. Thought 9000 dollars would last me more than a couple months, cool. OH and they hung up on me and will not fix it and said they could offer me a SMALL discount on a mechanic. LOOK. I don't need a mechanic, my boyfriend is a diesel mechanic. BUT IM NOT SPENDING 1000 dollars on repairs because they sold me a CRAPPY car. prepare yourselves. You pissed off and gave a crappy car to the wrrrrronnnggg person UPDATE: repairs costed 4,400 dollars! And my car is back in the shop because 2 of the seals my mechanics fixed broke. The vehicle which I purchased was listed and sold as passing a valid VA State Inspection. Nothing could have been further from the truth. It failed a NYS inspection. Miserably. The front hub assemblies were OEM from the factory, and completely done in. The tires are dry rotted, and do not pass. The rear wheel cylinders have visible leaks. The front differential is leaking at the pinion seal. The VA State Police have been advised of the situation, and will be receiving images and quite possibly all the defective parts which "passed" a valid Virginia state inspection. If cooperation is not found with the dealer, this will become a civil matter. CAVEAT EMPTUR. read more

First, let me say that we knew that we were buying a vehicle, "as is", so we are legally not entitled to any compensation. It is our fault we did not discover the many faults of the vehicle we purchased. However, readers should know what happened and be prepared what to look for so they don't get taken by this dealer like we were. We recently purchased a 2004 Chevy S-10 pickup truck, that looked like it was in good shape. What we didn't know was that the bed liner had been recently installed to cover up a rusted out truck bed. Since we didn't put the truck on a lift, and couldn't easily inspect under the truck due to the crowded conditions in the parking lot, we also did not notice that the truck bed supports were all but missing, having mostly rusted away and fell off. We also did not notice the missing gas tank strap, found only once the vehicle was inspected in MD. Although there was a passed VA inspection from only a couple of months ago, to pass MD inspection required several thousand dollars in repairs. Obviously either the inspection in VA was not done properly, or a VA inspection is meaningless. Again, shame on us for not having done a better job inspecting the vehicle, but I have to believe that Epovo Auto Group knew about these issues and conveniently failed to inform us. We were taken. I purchased a truck from this place and found out later that severe salt damage had been covered with spray paint. Then upon fueling up to drive it home, found out that the gas tank was leaking fuel! We didn't know this until several hundred miles down the road when we started smelling and seeing it leaking. DO NOT BUY anything from this dealership. FACT: On Sunday, July 22, 2018, I purchased a vehicle from Epovo. While the purchase was an "As-Is" purchase, the vehicle was represented as successfully passing the Virginia State Vehicle Inspection standards. However, a Virginia State Police report will show the vehicle was illegally given a successfully passing inspection sticker. On Thursday, July 12, 2018, Epovo was made aware of the vehicle issues by J & L Automotive during the inspection. However, Epovo did not repair the Passenger door handle, the frame rail that was rusted through, and malfunctioning Catalytic Converter.. These items alone would fail the state vehicle inspection. Some how on Monday, July 16, 2018, the vehicle passes Virginia inspection without having any of the previously mentioned repairs completed. One (Monday, July 23, 2018) to two (Tuesday, July 24, 2018) days after purchasing the vehicle, the Catalytic Converter needed to be replaced, the rotors needed to be replaced, and it was noticed that the passenger door handle didn't open. I had the vehicle inspected in Maryland (Thursday, August 9, 2018) and Virginia (Friday, August 10, 2018), it failed in both states. Citing issues that existed more than 30-days ago. Epovo refused to refund me for all of my expenses. Only stating it's an "As-Is" sell. On Monday, August 20, 2018, I called J & L Automotive, and explained the vehicle inspection violations found on my 2008 Cadillac CTS by the Virginia State Police. I further explained that it would fair to seek reimbursement from the business that was responsible for poor quality control in the conducting of the state vehicle inspection. However, J & L Automotive passed the responsibility of repair reimbursement and blame onto Epovo. J & L Automotive ended our conversation by saying he would speak with Epovo about taking the vehicle back. Not long after our conversation ended, Epovo called me to speak about the vehicle. Epovo said they would conduct all the repairs needed for the vehicle to pass Virginia State inspection. However, after this lengthy ordeal I just wanted the vehicle returned for a full refund and reimbursement for the repair cost. My thinking was, even with a return and refund Epovo would get the vehicle back in a better condition than it was given to me. Epovo rejected the idea of reimbursement and wanted to charge me a processing fee to return the vehicle. They offered only $6,000, stating they have to charge a processing fee of $395 and they would only charge me half. So, I didn't get my full $6,210.39 back, and received no money for any of the work done to the vehicle. I accepted the terms of the return because I was "completely satisfied" with the fact that the situation was finally ending. When I signed for the refund, deal cancellation, and vehicle return, Epovo asked that I delete and take back all of my reviews. I felt that action would lack integrity because this experience happened and shouldn't be hid. I felt that Epovo should have completely refunded me all expenses since their quality control failed to catch the initial issues of the vehicle. With that being said, I agreed to delete some of and modify the review content to state that a solution was found. My only advice in buying a used vehicle from "any" dealership As-Is is request that the vehicle must pass a state inspection from an inspection station of your choice. If the dealership agrees, then chances are the vehicle is in good shape, follow through, and follow up with the inspection. If it passes, then you have a good vehicle. However, if the dealership opposes another inspection for the vehicle as a pre-sale condition then this should tell you something about the condition of the vehicle and the integrity of the dealership. Walk away from the deal. All in all, this was a loss of an estimated $3,172.29 but a lesson learned. read more

As stated by other victims of Epovo, their "VA state inspections" are fraudulent. I went to look at a used car for my daughter - we liked it and took it to mechanic to have it checked out. The mechanic was appalled that a dealer would sell a car with so many safety and mechanical problems. There is no way this car could have passed the safety inspection that was done just a few days prior. Don't do business with these unethical and criminally negligent people. read more

I hated visiting this dealership. From the moment I set foot on that property to talk to one of the people on the showroom He said Hi and I said "Hi my name is Brad," He then asked me "Okay, what do you want?" .... What? I wouldn't exactly have a problem with this, but I had called twice before the trip to this dealership a week in advance and 30 minutes before I got there to schedule a test drive. Yet, the car I wanted to test drive was sitting behind a jigsaw puzzle of cars in there garage. When I asked if they could take the car out so I could test drive it they said I either needed to already have set up financing or have cash in hand to buy the car. He also then said that if he was to let me test drive it without money to buy it then, he didn't want to let me drive it because it was raining and he had the car detailed... Then proceeded to say that the car couldn't be financed by them because it was too old. He then proceeded to say that the car was not overpriced (even though it was according to KBB) and that KBB was going out of business because their cite was "inaccurate" as he stubbled and frantically looked around to find excuses to not sell us the car. We finally had to leave because we were so tired of all the BS and excuses. So. In all. I ended up driving an hour in a half to listen to some BS for 30 minutes and not leave with a car.. Do not buy a car here! They tried to sell me a 2002 bmw 325ci saying it was clean and needed nothing. I had it inspected at Ima motor sports next to them and they found 8000$ in hidden repairs in the car. What this dealer does is but auction cars and make them look nice and sell them. First of all, when you get there, good luck finding a place to park... After I went to test drive a Mazda Miata I noticed a couple issues and asked if they would take a $400 less than the asking price. The owner laughed at me and told me he had more into the car than that price. He told me all the issues were just sensors and he would have them fixed, so i decided to wait to see if the price would drop. A week later Car Guru app alerted me that the price dropped, to what I offered them before. I drove down that day and told them I wanted to buy the car from them, I was told that they were replacing some parts on it, so they couldn't sell it that day. I was told that the parts would be there the next day. When I called the next day I was told that another person had been there earlier in the day and wanted to test drive it. I told them again that I was going to buy it. When I got there the other person was there to test drive it. He got back and said he wanted it and the owner came out and told me sorry but they were selling it to him, this is after I had driven down there three times. I was told that if they get a similar vehicle they will call me... I won't buy a car from them now. read more

When I headed out the Epovo Auto Group on July 17, I didn't know what to expect of the model and make I wanted would be up to the caliber I hoped for. Bijan and his brother EJ didn't pressure me on anything. When I told Bijan what I was looking for, he was eager to get me into the car so I could drive it myself without a watch dog. After I selected the vehicle the payment process was quick and Bijan had provided copies for DMV and myself so I wouldn't have to be searching for my own documents to register the car. I explained to Bijan a small issue I saw with the car which Bijan quickly told me to bring the car and the change will take moments. What really struck is I needed the air checked and I called for recommendations of mechanics, Bijan - on a Sunday - told me to come out to the shop. The repair was fixed right then! I was in the market for a quality used car. I didn't have much money to spend, so I knew I would have to purchase an older vehicle. I knew that by purchasing an older car, I ran the risk of buying something that was not reliable. I did a lot of internet research, read reviews and visited car lots. I was beginning to think that I wouldn't find a suitable car in my price range. Then thru cars.com, I stumbled onto the Epovo website. It was very nice site, with picture of very nice cars in an affordable price range. I was a little apprehensive because I'd gone to some car lots where the cars did not in any way resemble the pictures on their website! I called and spoke with EJ. Over the course of two days, we had many conversations about the car I wanted. I live in Fort Washington, MD and didn't want to take a long drive to Chantilly, VA only to be disappointed. I finally decided to take the time and visit Epovo. One of the best decisions I ever made! I was interested in a 2003 Lexus ES. The pictures on the website were beautiful and the car lived up to the pictures. The interior was immaculate, the exterior was excellent and most importantly, it was mechanically sound. It even had four brand new tires. Not only was I very satisfied with the car, (it was everything they advertised), I was also impressed with the customer service. Everyone was very professional and answered all my questions. The buying experience went smoothly and it didn't take all day, I've had my car for almost thirty days and I couldn't be more satisfied. If you're looking for a reliable, clean used car I highly recommend Epovo. The cars are affordable and they have some very nice high-end vehicles. Do not buy a car from them! I went and looked at a 2002 Buick Park Ave. I took it to a garage nearby to have the car checked. It was eight to our inspection. I called about 75 minutes into the inspection and ask them how it was going. They said they found a number of major items wrong with the car, including a bad air-conditioner compressor and condenser, a bad manifold, suspension that needed to be replaced. All in all there were 15 items that were wrong with the car. Some were minor some more major. That in and of itself was bad enough, but according to the garage where I took the car, they said that it would obvious that somebody spent a lot of time trying to cover up these problems. If one were to take a look at it, at a glance there would be nothing wrong. You would have to take it to a garage in order to find out these problems. Just to be clear, this is not my opinion. This was the opinion of the garage To which I took it. I don't have the expertise and make that determination. This was the determination of the garage. If you do buy from them, I would make sure that I have the car checked out thoroughly as possible. read more
