Complementary bread with whipped butter and oil and vinegar
    Oscar B.

Drinks - 5 of 5, Food - 1.5 of 5, Bread 5 of 5 We were excited to try The Eproson House for the first time, but unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations. We ordered the 10oz Flank steak, and it took quite a long time to come out. When it finally arrived, it was cold. After sending it back, the replacement still came out only lukewarm. The steak itself lacked seasoning or flavor, and the sides that came with it weren't very enjoyable either. We ended up relying on A1 sauce just to make it decent. On the positive side, the bread with oil and vinegar was outstanding, and the drinks were excellent -- definitely the highlight of the evening. Our waitress was kind and tried to make up for the experience by not charging us for the drinks, which we really appreciated. That gesture stood out even though the food itself was disappointing. Unfortunately, overall service seemed overwhelmed for a Thursday night; we even overheard other diners commenting on how long it was taking to get their food. While we appreciated the great drinks and thoughtful service from our waitress, the main dishes left us underwhelmed, and we're not sure we'd return anytime soon.

The Chicken Cobb Salad was just okay. The portion size was decent, and the ingredients seemed fresh, but nothing really stood out. The chicken was a bit dry, and the overall flavor felt a little flat, even with the dressing. It wasn't bad, just not as tasty as I had hoped. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to order it again, but it'll do if you're craving a salad. We sat outside (by choice), which was nice at first, but the experience was disrupted by loud cars passing by frequently. It made it a bit hard to relax or hold a conversation. I would like to point out our server Alicia was very attentive and super nice!

Our family of six enjoyed a truly exceptional dinner experience at the Eproson House last night. The outside seating was just perfect. Every meal ordered was outstanding, and the service, from the moment we arrived to checking out, was impeccable. We will definitely return and encourage others to try it out!

The service levels are inconsistent. We were there for dinner and it took 30 minutes to be greeted by our harried server. The soup was like wallpaper paste and inedible. The main courses were decent and I've always liked the cozy atmosphere and history behind the place. I'd stick to the bar for some snacks and drinks here.

Chicken Parm. Very flavorful, but would have loved more chicken!

Food? Delicious a bit soupy for the pricing but 7/10 delicious. This is the second occasion I have been and the environment is fairly casual/relaxed which is nice so I will give them that. The service? In my brother in laws words who owns several bars around the Bay Area, "horrendous" last time I was there my steak was medium well to well and I asked for it medium however they disagreed which I thought that was odd because I've had lots of medium filet mignons, and they were not very nice about my polite feedback. This recent occasion I don't think we were greeted after being seated when we had reservations and there was for 20 minutes for drinks and we were ready by the time that happened. Only then did I get one refill. So if they were to work on the consideration of their customers this could be a WONDERFUL restaurant! Plus I have not been but I do hear the bar is awesome. Hoping for the best for this restaurant they are very promising.

We really enjoyed the prime rib steak; was juicy, perfectly grilled and tasty. Side dishes with the rice, steamed veggies done right. Ordered calamari strip for extra $ . The clams was also nice & came with bread. Loved the huckleberry ice cream! The staff always checked on us and very accommodating . Love the historical building and bar with live band ( Saturday Night ) was fun to watch post-dinner.

I ordered a drink and the blueberry fried chicken sandwich to go. The drink was fine, and the sandwich had a great piece of chicken with a HEAPING side of tots, but those are sadly the only positives to note. I was a bit disappointed with my meal overall. I ordered the sandwich because it had blueberry COMPOTE. (I am wary of ALL berries and fresh produce at this time due to the cyclospora outbreak, but I am perfectly fine to eat compotes and sauces that are cooked). I heard the salesperson ask the cooking staff if they still had compote and they replied in the affirmative. At no point between placing my order and waiting was I told otherwise, or notified that they had run out, but when I got home and opened my sandwich it was genuinely just blueberries on the piece of chicken. It did have melted cheese and (some) aioli, and I asked for no jalapenos/they listened, but the other toppings didn't have much of a taste over the chicken. I was expecting a unique sandwich featuring a cooked through blueberry sauce and received a fraction of what I paid for, especially because, even after dumping the blueberries out of my sandwich, I was too nervous to eat anything they might have touched, and I wasn't able to finish. (While it may be irrational behavior, which I know and am trying to curtail, it still shouldn't have been a thing at all. As someone with food issues, if I had known they were out of the compote I would have changed my order to something I felt comfortable eating--instead I paid $30 for a chicken sandwich I couldn't finish because they essentially contaminated it. Also, cooked blueberry compote tastes different from fresh blueberries, on top of having a completely different texture, so I didn't even get what I paid for in that regard). I would eat here again, but would likely not order to go in case there was another issue. *EDITED REVIEW because I genuinely appreciate the owner's sincerity and congeniality upon receiving my review. I understand that sometimes, things can go awry, and I look forward to trying out the rest of their menu as I continue to visit TH.

When you walk in there are two areas for children on the right is for younger children and the one on the left is for 2 & up. The owner was so nice. He was setting up for movie night. There was all these different games to play that were human size. There were various places to sit and eat inside and outside. The decor was so cute. It was like a time warp Christmas/summer/fall/spring. I mean it's perfect for anyone who likes unique things and places. Everyone there was so nice and attentive. My server in the cashier Jordan was so sweet. Everyone seemed very happy there. The sourdough pizza is to die for it's hot and fresh. I haven't tried the barbecue, but I will be back to try the barbecue. The mac & cheese was yummy. And they have many different types of drinks that you can choose from adult drinks to just regular soft drinks. They also sell ice cream, which is really cool with toppings. You must buy something at the Creamery in order to partake in the fun though. We got in line and it seemed to more a bit slow -- we finally got to the register and ordered one Horchata Milkshake. Once we paid, the young kid at the register said it would be a little while before our order came out. As expected, it did take a while for our Milkshake to come and it was not worth the wait. Overall, I know I am a city girl and used to the more fast paced life so I will give them a little grace, plus their staff were friendly and doing their best. Rating is 3.5 stars! I unfortunately do have to share the situation that transpired that was extremely concerning. I also did not want to write this without giving the restaurant a chance to correct the issue. I called them and that was appalling- I will write about that later. With them failing to correct the issue- I am forced to warn people. Myself, my husband, and my 8 year old daughter went there for dinner. We got there and got seated. I do want to point out the young man that was maybe the hostess was kind and accommodating. The real trouble started with the server who is also the owner. We placed our orders, I ordered a bbq burger, my husband ordered the V burger and my daughter ordered the v sliders. We waited an hour and a half with no updates on why our food was taking so long. It came out- with the server/owner woman (I think she had a piercing in mouth in front of her teeth- to explain what she looked like incase you're there). My husband was NOT served the dinner he ordered but instead the v sliders. It looked like a frozen chicken nugget was placed in the "chicken burger", a pulled pork (which I would be wary of- that is the only one that had too much sauce so you couldn't see if it was fully cooked). We pointed out immediately that was not what he ordered and she said oh we can make the other one if you want. Having already waited an hour and a half we said no, as we did not want to wait a minute longer. She said oh okay good, let me know if you need anything. Fast forward, we finished our very low quality meal (not only was it bad tasting/bad quality, but it was also overpriced. I want to say those 3 tiny sliders were $18 per plate). We paid- and tipped 20% to the server who we now know was the owner. When looking at the bill- she charged us full price for everything and there was never another mention of the mistake with bringing out the wrong food order. We paid and left. We as a family had all eaten the same food all day UP UNTIL THAT MEAL. My husband and daughter both got food poisoning, and I did not. My daughter was projectile vomiting from around 9PM-3 in the morning with her stomach in severe pain. I called today and calmly spoke to the owner, the minute she answered the phone, she seemed ready to argue. I got interrupted 4 times within the first 3 minutes of the call. I stated what I stated above, during the interruptions, she proceeded to say I will not get any type of accommodation because there are no other people that "called to complain" she used excuses like it was a busy night, said she'll check the kitchen etc. I stated, It does sound like those are things you need to take care of on the back end that don't have anything to do with me and this moment. I would like a refund. She said no and that there's no proof that that is what got us sick. I let her know I am appalled at the way she is interrupting me, speaking to me and handling this. I let her know I called to see how they can accommodate given the severity of this, and since it does not seem like she is going to do what's right I will have to write on Yelp to warn other people, she started raising her voice and telling me she won't stand for me "threatening her and her business". I let her know, there is no threat. I will simply state the facts of what transpired and how she is handling the situation, and I'll list her words so patrons can make their own decisions about visiting her establishment. She was raising her voice so I did end the

We ordered drinks that took a bit to come out and for food, I ordered the Cranberry Gorgonzola Salad, my friends ordered the Chicken Wings and Fish and Chips. Our food did not come out at the 35 minute mark, we actually ended up waiting 51 minutes. Waiting almost an hour for your meal is wild -- our waitress did check on us a couple of times, but I just cannot get past the wait - 35 minutes turning into 51 is a long time to wait. Now if the food had been worth it, I probably would have been fine with the wait, but it unfortunately it was not. The chicken on my salad was iceberg cold - it was also in larger chunks so a few pieces were tough to chew and overcooked.
