    Red Velvet Latte! Yum!

I like this Equator coffee location because I have always found the staff to be very nice. I appreciate their good hearted spirit and efficiency in getting drinks out. The drinks are consistently good, in my opinion. The atmosphere is small town coffee shop with lots of locals. It's a great place to hang out. They have internal and external seating.

Women owned. Pride Flag out front. Vegan Options of light bites and coffee/tea drinks. Friendly service (especially the curly/red headed person) that often wears cosmic leggings. Yep, 5 stars from me!!

I'm a recent fan of Equator Coffees and am glad I could try their Larkspur location! In the area, I wanted to grab some caffeine, so stopped here. I love how quaint, cute, and outdoorsy the cafe is! It's quite small inside with a few bar stools but there are plenty of tables outside in their shared patio. Love how dog-friendly it is and that they offer dog treats too! Ordering is straightforward--either in person or online. The workers were kind and accommodating, despite the mixup. Their menu has typical coffee and teas plus seasonal offerings. They also sell baked goods. I ordered the Blueberry Sage Matcha Cream with Extra Matcha, Oat Milk, and Light Ice. With mobile ordering, I also brought my cup. In Marin, they charge a disposable cup fee. When I arrived, they had never received the order. But, I appreciated them quickly making it and bringing it outside to me. The matcha was strong and earthy. I could taste too much blueberry or sage but it was creamy and a nice addition. Nice to try, but wouldn't necessarily order again! My pup enjoyed her treat. Larkspur is such a cute town and the Equator Coffees goes perfectly with the community. The cafe is off Magnolia Ave. in the shopping center where there's communal parking. Would come back again if I'm in the area!

Cute place. Can definitely get crowded. I tried the red velvet latte which looked to be a seasonal drink. It was ok nothing spectacular. Beetroot is what gives it the color but the drink itself was more of a mocha.

This place rocks because they are on the#TooGoodToGo app! Their pastries are delicious. I love savory pastry, and they provide a lot of those in my to go bag. The staff is very friendly and you can see the holidays are arriving, and everything's looking festive. !

I was in Larkspur and made a quick stop at Equator for my daily caffeine fix. The service was excellent--super friendly and efficient--and my drink was ready in no time. I've always known Equator for their great coffee, but this time I decided to try their new Blueberry Sage Matcha Cream Latte... and wow. It was so good. The blueberry foam paired perfectly with the iced matcha, adding a light sweetness and a unique twist. I was genuinely impressed--not only was it delicious, but it also packed a serious caffeine punch. Highly recommend!

Nice little coffee shop settled amongst a few other shops (The Lark Creek Shops). Inside has some seating but the best seat is out front in a shared patio area adjacent to a bagel shop. I had a cappuccino and then another. It was so good. I can't decide if Tesla's, dogs or babies in strollers are more prevalent here but whichever is the case, it is a beautiful area.

I went to try to get a slice of their Chocolate Truffle cake, but since they were sold out by Sunday afternoon, I opted for their version of a hostess cupcake, and their butter cookies with chocolate icing blossoms. ------ FOOD: Hostess Cupcake (3.5/5) I personally found the cupcake to be a bit dry and the whipped cream to be too airy. The chocolate ganache topping on the cupcake was fantastic though, but wasn't enough to save this dessert. Butter cookies with Chocolate Icing (3/5) It wasn't bad but the butter cookie wasn't as rich and melt-in-your mouth as I would have liked. The chocolate icing was a bit too sweet and didn't have a deep chocolate flavor. I'm sure there are some delicious treats here as well that I'll need to try eventually if I'm ever in the area. ------ SERVICE: I spoke with a lady on the phone who was very kind and helpful, but the gentleman at the counter unfortunately wasn't able to provide any recommendations and couldn't manage the line well. The lady on the phone also told me they had the chocolate cake available which is the only reason why we drove out of our way to come here. ------ ENVIRONMENT: There are a few tables inside, outside, and nearby if you'd like to enjoy your treats nearby. The bakery itself is relatively spacious inside.

The place is clean, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, and there is a large selection of pastries, scones, breads, and grab-and-go items. My go-to has been the ham and cheese croissant, which was fresh both mornings. The coffee was also nice and hot, which I always appreciate. The staff is professional and efficient, though clearly busy, so do not expect a lot of chit-chat. I also picked up a box of Cheese Coins, which turned out to be dangerous because I loved them and ate the whole box. Good coffee, fresh pastries, easy seating, and enough tempting extras to make you buy more than you planned. I will probably stop by again tomorrow morning before leaving the area.

It could have used a lot more filling. I did appreciate the salsa on the side that it came with, which was tomato-y, garlicky, and overall very flavorful. It took around half an hour for me and 4 of my friends to get our orders, which was frustrating because we were on the go. Definitely a very busy spot! The place is a grab-and-go establishment where you order at the cashier and grab your food once ready (or they'll bring it out to you if dining in). I loved the outdoor seating on a sunny day but all the tables were unfortunately taken when we were there. The inside also has a couple of seats and refreshing cucumber water was offered.

With its spacious seating, glass enclosed doughnut display, walk up wall menu on the exterior and its open concept register counter it is truly inviting. With a menu of unique flavors and those same flavor options beautifully displayed behind a glass window, we had to order a few to try. Flavors available were coffee cake, blueberry lime, lime poppyseed, vegan guava, and chocolate chip cronut - these five we ordered, Other flavors included brown butter glaze, strawberry, chocolate vanilla crème, raspberry jam, cinnamon glaze and sprinkles. Lemon blueberry was very lemon forward with subtle notes of blueberry. The doughnut itself was crusty and soft at the same time. We enjoyed the pairing and texture. The coffee cake was just that, a crusty soft dough with the crumbly topping of coffee cake goodness and all those spices too. The lime poppyseed was light, soft and airy with a citrusy zing of lime. It was the most refreshing of them all and this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of lime. The guava was like biting into the fruit, not too sweet on an airy, soft dough. The chocolate chip cronut was a flaky layered croissant like dough that tasted like a chocolate chip cookie with a decadent chocolate frosting. It was quite the pleasurable treat, our daughter loved it. The staff, compiled of two women at the front, were friendly with smiles. Our treats were packaged in a beautiful white and gold box, it looked elegant when presented to us. There is the availability of drinks to order like tea and coffees. We would most certainly return for me. I'm curious to see what other flavors and combinations Johnny Doughnuts presents to us.
