I was referred to ER copies from a friend who said they have good prices. I got called and got this message : You have reached a Time Warner Customer. This mailbox is not currently accepting messages because a voice mail has not activated. What kind of business are they that they don't do something as simple as set up a voice mail? Most business have voice mail or a machine letting you know their hours, address, etc. I tried again and got a message saying we are unable to complete this call, please try again later. I tried again later and got the first message then I decided to just go down there. Their open till 6 according to Google but when I got there at 5:52 they were closed so my time was wasted. I tried again today to call because I really need prints done for art shows coming up. Unfortunately, again they didn't answer and I am not wasting my time in the bus to go down there if they may not be open, no way for me to find out since they are unreachable. I read great reviews on here and am told they normally answer their phone promptly so not sure what is going on . Can somebody please tell them they are losing customers because they can't be reached. It is the same number listed here and on Google that I called. Note: Time on picture says 5:57 but I had already been there at least 5 minutes trying to see if someone was inside. read more

Friendly Fast service Parking in front GREAT PRICING I came here to print out documents for a visa application. I was able to park for free on Sunset. As soon I entered, I was greeted and given clear instructions. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was in and out in 10 minutes. This place has always done fast and reasonably priced work. Today was not great. The owner today did not wear a mask. Yeap the owner. I asked him to wear one and he declined at first saying he was far away - maybe he was 7 yards away but he was moving around the room - when pressed he said he would wear one. It felt like a false response to placate a customer. His other workers had a mask on. But c'mon man. I think we all need to know that the businesses are safe. I would think twice about going now. I like these guys and have had good experiences in the past, but have decided to take my future business elsewhere. Their prices are generally pretty great, but lately I've had some problems: 1. I went back to ER Copies to get another run of prints that I had gotten done there a year and a half ago. The first time around, it cost $1.20 per item for 75 copies. This time around, I wanted to print 200 and the price they gave me was $1.30 per item. ?Usually printing more equals a better deal, right? I asked if they could at least match their previous quote. The response was an unequivocal No. Carlos wasn't even willing to negotiate something in between. 2. I was running out of time so I went ahead and ran the order anyway. Now I'm sitting looking at my run and have noticed that the stapling on half of my order is completely off. The stapling works, but is completely misaligned. Suggestions: 1. give yourself plenty of time to check around at the various shops for the best quote. and 2. give yourself plenty of time to look through the entirety of your print job. Burned again by looking at the first couple copies on top and then running out happy with the order, only to discover crappy work a few copies down. read more

I always try to use a local business instead of a chain when I can. And that's how I ended up going to these guys. Their colorful storefront is nice and clean and it's not a too-small outfit (they have some serious equipment in their) but still has a family/small business feel to it. The price seemed fair to me, and the service was professional, and response time (critical) was pretty quick. They did a four-sided celebration of life flyer for me, and I'm real happy with them. I spent around $100 but they treated me like I spent $1,000 +. In fact, that was nearly a year ago and the reason I'm thinking of them now is because I'm about to order some bookmarks and a big poster for a project. Repeat biz is where it's at for businesses like this! Good: local, clean, professional Bad: FedEX Kinkos! Ugly: I got nothing ... Wonderful: Businesses that pay their employees a local wage so my dollars aren't just going into the pockets of some giant corporation's CEO Shop local! read more

I use them several days a week to print pages I have emailed to them at ERcopies@gmail.com $0.50 cents for first black and white photocopy and I think maybe .06 a page after that from same email. No lines...super friendly...quick.... only difficult sometimes is no parking available in front of shop but is a closed furniture shop next door w parking lot but it's used for employee parking for a restaurant and I was told they may tow...although I have parked there for 5 to 10 mins over 50 times with no issues and several times an restaurant employee told me 5 or 6 times now to go ahead and park behind an employee car for 10 min cause they are working til late....so far they're super nice. Hope that helps. You can also get quick color copies, binding, and all kinds of printing... great place...way better than using FedEx Office. read more

The person helping me explained to me the different pricing for self-copying versus store-copying and cash versus card, etc. I felt that they were very willing to help me get the most out of my money and time while I was there. Great experience here! I had a bunch of questions about printing and they walked me through my options on the phone and again in person. They were super kind and helpful. Plus, rates were cheaper than other options in the area (at least for Laser paper which is heavier than normal paper with a bit of a shine). This is a family owned business. They charge very little for their prints, but I hope they're getting some profit so they won't go out of business! Black and white prints costs 50 cents for the first page, then 6 cents after that! 93 pages + a spiral bind + hardcover paper front and back = $6.40. Staples and office depot would totally milk you for this! (They start at 10 cents a page! + $$ for all the fancy stuff) If you plan to print a file, you can email them the ATTACHED file at ercopies@aol.com and they'll print it for you. NOTE: They WILL NOT print out your file if it will take them to a 3rd party site (ex. you send them a link to a website you'd want them to print) The owners are nice and the dog is super adorable! Little good nooks like this is what makes Echo Park have character. I don't know if they accept credit card, but I did see a credit card machine there. There is probably a minmium charge! read more

This is maybe one of the best kept secrets local printing that I know of. Every chain store you can think of, Kinko's or Staples, are an absolute nightmare to deal with no matter what time of day or the week you go. This place is professional, you can email them at any time for a quick answer or reply, or phone them if you prefer, they're always ready and the results are impeccable. Besides there about 1/10 of the cost of what the other chain stores charge for simple printing and copying. You couldn't do better than to support your local independent print shop then to go here. PS Bring cash they do not except cards for small amounts and buy small amounts I mean, your total maybe less than a dollar! read more

The staff here is really helpful, thorough, and conscientious. They've also been kind enough to let me print out things and pay the next time I came in when I didn't have enough cash on hand. I actually considered buying a printer for my home office but didn't because it's more cost-effective to come here (toner cartridges are expensive, even in bulk and I don't print that often), plus the quality is better at ER Copies. It's also far, FAR cheaper than Kinko's or Staples and the quality is better here than those megastores, too. Plus on hot days, they let me grab a little water for my dog, which I really appreciate. One tip: they do charge a fee to use your debit card if it's under a certain amount (I think $10), so bring cash, and they do tend to close promptly. I actually appreciate the latter fact since it makes me get my act together. read more

They are patient, take time to help you out with everything you need, and they don't charge as much as Staples or Office Depot.
