First time trying erbys and gerbys first experience is that the app wasn't working very well so it was hard to order eventually we got it to work though and got our orders done 10 min early and workers were nice when we went to pick it up. The building also was pretty cool on the inside but the outside was very lame. other person in my group got a hot sub and instead of cold trash trash they got hot ok ok the rest of group thought there subs where mid but my sub I got a turkey sandwich with bacon the left side of the sandwich was great but the right wasn't too good could've been more generous with the bacon but all in all it is Erberts and Gerberts. Also I wish I could meet gerbert he seems like a very cool person who wait on elevators for fun and yells duh then hums. Came on a Monday night around 9pm. Every restaurant near me closed at 8pm so I decided to give this place a try. I got the boney Billy with a side of chicken dumplings soup. I absolutely hate places like this. You guys close at 12 am 12am. Not 11am not 11:30 am. But 12 am. You close at 12 am then you lock the doors then you clean the place up You don't close at 11am so you can start cleaning and be done at 12 that's not how it works. When your shop says open till 12 people are expecting to leave there house around 11 and getting here around 11:30 to get in and get there food. They just spent 20 mins getting here just to see you guys closed 45 mins before the time it says on Google and the app. I came here for lunch before my overnight shift for the last couple of weeks. We only got stuck in the snow for about 5 minutes, but we got a solid 7.5 minutes of lip-smacking, hungry-monkey munching some fabulous sandwiches. I get the Narmer most often. The story behind the sandwiches is cute, that you get bread innards is cuter, and that the whole thing is fantastically tasty, consistently fresh, and an absolute BARGAIN* is incredible. The mayo-drenched sandwiches they serve are nearly identical to the chain down the street that makes subs so fast you'll freak, kind of the same way Emmanuel Lewis and Gary Coleman (I'm tipping out some of my green tea in your memory) are interchangeable plot points. The Boney Billy? It may as well be called the Turkey Tom. The Flash? It's simply another name for the Italian Night Club. Comet Candy? It's just another Billy Club. The key differentiating point is the bread Erbert and Gerbert's uses is a bit softer and they hollow out the inside of the sandwich, so it's a little less bready. And as an added bonus, they serve fairly decent soups. However, being the Midwest there are more creamy options than brothy ones. It's not a bad sandwich. I ordered a Veggie sandwich and ended up combining the two halves so I would actually get some veggies. The restaurant is in need of being cleaned, the staff need to have hats or hair nets on, and when asking for added veggies and salt and pepper when I ordered the staff member wasn't the friendliest acting like I was inconveniencing them. My daughter didn't get the correct sandwich. This homeless guy has came in 4 times since we have been here using his own cup and getting soda from the machine likes it's his own personal machine.
