Erick is hands down the best mover I have ever hired. I have had such bad experiences with moving companies in the past and feel so lucky to have found him! His team was so professional and went above and beyond to ensure my move went smoothly. Eric was extremely thorough about getting all of the details about my needs and belongings prior to the move so he showed up totally prepared. They arrived on time and performed the job in record speed. My building had five flights of stairs and they didn't even take a break once - so impressive! Eric did not show up for the scheduled move. We faced hard time to find anyone else at the last moment. There was no option to extend our stay in that apartment and we had informed Eric about it while scheduling. We were all packed and waiting for Eric to come and start the job as he kept us on hold till the last moment. But he did not show up. First with my parents' home, after they'd passed, which was a monumental job of clearing-out 65 years of accumulated things-taking 3 large moving vans packed with boxes, furniture, etc. out of the home. Do not hire them, the most terrible unreliable people. They don't take their job serious and they are irresponsible. I requested moving things from my house to a storage pod on my driveway. They said they can definitely do it and they will send someone. I kept trying to message and call to get an update. Where are the guys when they are going to come? And they barely respond. Terrible customer experience and poor system. I kept messaging the manager and begging for an update and called about 10 times and getting no response and at the end no one came and I was in a really bad position that the second day I had contractors coming to work in my house and the furniture was still in. read more

Eric and his guys made our move so much easier than we expected! We had to move from our apartment downstairs to the apartment upstairs, we only had one day to move, and it was supposed to pour rain that day. Eric assured us, "rain or shine, I got you." He was there right on time with two helpers. Being on time was especially important that day because we only had a few hours before the rain started. They had to take apart and huge, wooden bunk bed, take all the parts upstairs, and then build it back together. They had to do the same thing with a crib. They moved some dressers, a king bed, bookcases, entertainment center, toy boxes, crib, and bunk bed. Plus, they helped us extra by moving lots of boxes and miscellaneous things which weren't even part of their quoted items. They moved our whole house [2bd 1ba (we had a lot of stuff!!)] in literally 3 hours! My husband said he wishes he could give them 6 stars haha! Left us high and dry without any effort to resolve. Signed a contract to have them pick up furniture in San Diego. Was contracted to pick up one of three days with the agreement saying they would call 24 hours prior. The day before the final day I called since I hadn't received a call. We hired Eric recently to move from our one bedroom apartment to another not too far away and he was super helpful, responsive, and professional. He kept in contact with us the entire time before, during, and also after our move. He came by beforehand to assess the move as well which literally took less than 5 minutes. His team was excellent in caring for our furniture and also super funny as well so they made the day go by quickly. "He's a nice guy" but he doesn't show up right when he was supposed in fact he never showed up because he didn't think he could do it for one or 2 days .The bottom line is he doesn't show up you don't move you have to find somebody else right away, an hour , no notice until it was too late (at the end of the month) the worst time to Forget that you were in a moving company category on the web. I guess you can't put a plug-in for somebody else inside of a review or I would.the guy saved my ass or For any help review I always say one thing if you let me know then I can do something if you don't let me know then you're making sure I can't do anything and that's why you're getting this review for helping me do nothing and makeing more work.If you're busy you're busy if, you're not busy and schedule at your convenience and then keep changing it to be more convenient that's not a service. If you schedule moving t's rarely those "lets do ti whenever you can " services and I'm writing this to make sure he agrees to the time and if you can't do it be honest. I have to when I free lance or a client can't fit the time frame, so I book it when it's available then show up. I was waiting packed and he finally texted back that he would text me about when he can do it. At that point you're not a moving company you're a guy making excuses why you're not a moving company. We all have reasons for having to reschedule but we don't have constant reasons to reschedule in one day for hours then cancel and then reschedule. This not a personal attack it's a bad review for the moving complany, no show , no move , no moving company. The nicest people aren't always the choice for actual people doing the the advertise service. I was able to get a hold of the guy who was faster cheaper honest and fit it in on his way to another job it took him less than an hour and I'll just say this he charged less and when I said what a great job he did he said this is what I do. You might want to find him and work for him because scheduling is not your strong point excuses make me really really annoyed no matter what they are by the way even a meteor hitting the planet because they're rarely upfront honest and let you make decisions based on what's available which is not available because you're not. I found Eric on Yelp and am so glad I did! I had a smaller move with only a few boxes of clothes and no furniture. The bigger moving companies had a minimum price and truck size that didn't make sense for my move, so I was happy when I found Eric. He gave me a very reasonable price and ensured he hand-delivered all my boxes himself! There was a small miscommunication where he changed the date and price on me before the move, so I got anxious, but on the day-of, he took care of everything and made me feel assured. This was the worst experience we have ever had with a moving company. Eric is not a man of his word. He makes promises and doesn't deliver. He hires people who are careless and stupid. They damaged five major items that were family heirlooms. My mother recently died and I inherited these items. If you want details you can contact me at my email that will be provided later. One employee broken an item after I warned him of how fragile it was. He broke it as I watched him trying to pick it up. Another Employee damaged a very expensive red cherry wood China cabinet and tried to glue it with the wrong glue. He told nobody and did this behind everybody's back. This beautiful piece of artistry was ruined. And the other gorgeous cherry wood bed frame was permanently damaged by taking a huge chunk of the bedframe out and disappeared the piece. It cannot be repaired. This was very hard to write because I thought Erick was a really nice guy but he doesn't keep his word as he promised to come back and try to help fix the problems.
