Food was simple and yummy. Local diner with a modern flare!! Service and server were friendly. Would definitely come back again. The local maple syrup was amazing!

The brews are all wonderful and easy drinking, I rarely like every beer I try. The food is excellent and unique, definitely a welcomed twist on some familiar pub foods. We practically tried everything on the menu in our party and I'm glad we did. The flavor profiles and combinations made each dish a welcomed surprise, the nachos were out of this world. The building itself is very inviting. It had been renovated and had a relaxed and warm lodge feel. The staff are very friendly and attentive and were more than happy to help us make some ordering decisions. The hardest part was that we discovered this establishment on our last day and were unable to come a second time. There is also an arcade in the downstairs area if you want to hang out a bit and also a great outdoor space. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I know we will be back!

Zero stars if I could…read more We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Our server never introduced herself, made very little eye contact, and seemed uncomfortable interacting with us. She was also slow. We came on a Sunday where they have discounted drinks for brunch. They told the table after us about it, but they didn't tell us. We then found a LIVE bug crawling in our salad. Both the server and the manager explained that the lettuce is locally farmed. I understand that bugs can be found on fresh produce, but that does not change the fact that the salad should have been properly washed and inspected before being served. The brownie was also undercooked and raw in the middle, and the response to that was that it was "gluten free," which again felt more like an excuse than accountability. The manager offered us a $20 gift card and said he hoped we would give them another chance. I asked to use it toward our bill instead, and even that required the server to go check whether it could be done. What bothered me most was the lack of a sincere apology. Everyone seemed embarrassed and eager to move past the situation, but a genuine apology and some accountability would have gone a long way. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner, and instead it was an extremely unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. Go elsewhere.

It was a gorgeous day and we were able to sit outside, which I really enjoyed. They were umbrellas above us, which were much needed when it started to drizzle! I enjoyed the waiter, although my wife did not. He talked a lot and everything I asked him was his favorite. It didn't seem genuine. Especially when the table sat down next to us and everything they wanted or was his favorite too. We were disappointed that the one thing we wanted on the menu was not available for food. They're mocktails were a normal price and their cocktails were a little pricey, but well worth it for the craft that they were doing. I enjoyed both of the cocktails that I had, although was disappointed that they didn't have the monkey brains cocktail that I wanted anymore. Overall, it was a cute place and I'd probably go back to have a cocktail.

The cocktail menu is expansive with something for everyone. We went with the "I'm Eggnogstic" which was "a decadent custard with maple syrum, bourbon and rum, & whipped egg whites". We also got a hot drink called "Hot Buttered Yum" which consisted of Flor de Cana 5yr rum, brownie batter, cinnamon, butter, brown sugar, and was topped with toasted marshmallows. Both drinks were delicious, prepared well, and were aesthetically pleasing as well. I wish the Eggnogstic was a little larger - I think it was about 3 ounces? The Hot Buttered Yum was served in an oversized mug. The vibe here was great - perfect place for couples, a girls night, or just friends out for a before dinner or after dinner drink. I loved that it was busy enough, but still quiet enough for a conversation.

We visited last night and it happened to be during Karaoke time. The crowd was super chill, friendly, and very supportive of the singers. Everyone was having a great time and the vibe was pretty amazing, kind of felt like a speakeasy. There were people sitting at the bar, people clapping in the seats in front of the stage, and people knitting in the back. There were empty tables last night, but from what I read, it can get pretty crowded here. We ordered the Mudslides and they were really good, but a little too icy. Service was friendly and we felt very comfortable here. Loved the decor with the historic photos, the colored lights and the comfortable old style chairs. We'll be back on our next visit to Burlington!

They are doing a wonderful job, and I am so, so glad they didn't come and go like the other restaurants in that spot before it. You probably knew that from the other reviews, but I have another reason I am writing this. I came here with my husband one night months ago, and he got a cocktail that had cherry and bourbon as the main flavors. I stole most of it from him :D. It was so good that every time I get another cocktail somewhere else, even if it is good, I just wish it was the cherry bourbon one. So, if you're there and they still have it on the menu, I suggest you get it. And if the establishment is reading this, my vote is to keep that one around.

We got our little buzzer and we were told to stay within a half mile. We sat outside across the street on a bench. We watched numerous groups of 3+ go in and not come back out, which means they were seated. When, after 40 minutes, we were called in, none of those groups were at the bar. Kinda makes you wonder. We ordered cokes. $5 each and got refills, but when the bill came was shocked to be charged for every refill! We spent more on cups of Coke than the actual effing meal!!! Ordered the steak medium. It was rare. Oh well, was hungry and didn't want to wait any longer. But it was good. Buffalo chicken cheese curd fries were good, but chicken was dry. The cheesecake was not tasty at all. The burger was "mid," according to my son.
