The shop is extremely clean and organized. We had a truck that needed to be towed from my house to their shop. They fixed our car in one day. They sent a check up report that was incredibly detailed with pictures and notes! They knew exactly what they were talking about from the 1st conversation we had with them. Honest and fair. They saw me at the appointment time and completed the oil change and tire repair by the time stated. They complemented me on the diligence of maintaining my vehicle and since I use 100 percent synthetic oil, they agreed I could go 7000 plus miles before the next oil change. I always have concerns about being taken advantage of concerning vehicle repairs. Eric's didn't give me this impression at all. We discussed next maintenance repair at 90,000 miles, which puts me at 8,000 miles on this oil change. Sweet!! read more

Having recently moved to Delray, I needed a solid mechanic. This place was great. Very professional. They went in for an O2 change and ended up calling to tell me they found a different problem. The different problem they suspected was causing the 02 problem and suggested making that repair first. It was $150 less. They could have changed the sensor and I wouldn't have known the difference. I was very happy there. They gave me a ride to work and also offered me a loaner. Definitely returning. read more

Eric's Wrench is an independent service and repair shop that specializes in Lexus cars. Eric and several of his techs used to work at Lexus of Margate, and you can tell that the really know their Lexus cars. This shop is great because they are very good value, you get someone who knows Lexus well, and they are really providing high quality and attentive service. They are very nice guys. I went there because I wanted to do some after-market upgrades that I don't like the dealer to know about. I had Eric install some Xenon fog lamps and also some LED lights to replace the halogen parking lights. Eric gave me a very reasonable quote, it took him longer to finish the job but he honored his original quote. I was struck by several things 1) good value and very fair pricing 2) the shop is really clean. One of the cleanest mechanic shops I have seen. 3) they let you onto the floor to inspect the work before the take the car of the lift. This openness shows how seriously they take quality. I think this is an A+ operation and a value alternative to servicing your car at the Lexus dealer, or (as in my case) for your after market upgrade work. read more

I was referred to Eric after I took my 2000 Tundra to a dealership in Delray who quoted me nearly 5,000 dollars worth of work for a small drive-shaft vibration. The dealership in question claimed that my entire drive shaft and rear differential needed to be replaced. I took my truck to Eric, who diagnosed my truck free of charge. He determined that my rear differential was fine. In addition, my drive shaft was fine and only a small part needed to be replaced. He was able to fix the vibration (replace rear drive shaft center bearing) for a tiny fraction of the quote from the dealership. Eric saved me over 4,000 dollars. I will be going back to Eric for all my service needs in the future! read more

I have recently taken my 86 year old mother in laws car into Eric's wrench for a general 50,000 mile check up. I had worked with Eric on several cars when I was an auto adjuster during the aftermath of Wilma. I was not disappointed. Corey called and emailed me to ensure I was bringing the car in and if my needs had changed. When I arrived I found the shop and waiting room to be clean and neat. Cory and I reviewed my requests, I was offered fresh coffee and wi Fi. Although the car did not need a lot of repairs the car was given a full inspection and I was kept informed through out the repairs. Corey at the front desk was very professional and allowed me to see what was happening with the car through out the process. I was very pleased with the advice I was given and the repairs. Ok, wow, these guys are great. While I haven't used Eric's specifically myself as I live in Chicago, my in-laws have their car serviced there. They have done a great job in keeping my in-laws older cars running in top condition in a safe and reliable manor. I called Eric's to get information about one of my in-laws cars as the car is going to be sold to a different family member. Eric's clearly provided my in-laws great service, did the required maintenance and repairs, and not a lot of extra stuff. I should have used Eric's shop the first time instead of trying to save $10. I also came back for another repair a few months later, which Eric took care of fast and fair. He even gave me a loaner car for the afternoon free of charge. When was the last time a mechanic shop did that? I have never had that happen to me before. After reading Eric's reviews I had to call him for my broken AC. I drive an old Avalon and don't want to put much money into it but hey, AC is not a luxury here. Eric diagnosed the probable problem over the phone and gave me a price quote of around $1,100. to replace my AC compressor. I told him I was thinking about replacing it myself due to the cost and he actually told me what to watch out for and offered to recover the freon from the system and then put it back in once I was done - FOR $70. ! I won't even think about going to the dealerships now - Eric is an honest mechanic and that is a rare find. read more

Eric is one of the best mechanics in the area. He has saved me thousands of dollars. He's honest and fair and respects that I need to keep my car running for a few more years. The Lexus Dealer in Pompano told me I needed a new power steering pump and hoses for an estimate of over $2,300 plus they charged me $125.00 to just look at the car. I brought it to Eric and he said I only needed the hose but it was expensive, $400, saving me $1,900. Today he put me back on the road again saving me money knowing I need to keep the car running without putting too much money into it. I think he's great and always helpful.
