I've had to take bike my bike 3 times to them because it kept doing the same thing after 10 minutes of riding so I sort of gave up and bike sat for few months. One day I've decided to give another shop a shot and found Gp Motomax. I can say that I was very pleased they got my bike back on road. The problem being the fuel pump which they suspect upon inspection so they ordered a oem pump which took a while but once they got it they've installed it so fast. What they suspect happened was they just replaced the motor of fuel pump and called it day so by replacing the whole pump properly bike was great again. The crazy part is that total of parts and labor ended up cheaper than what I paid at Motorhelmet. Will definitely come back for more service to get my bike to top tip. They are honest hard working people with very very reasonable price and great communications which is super rare nowadays. I would hate keep this so they won't get too busy but I highly recommend them!

Let me start by saying I like motorhelmets, I've been going here for years for getting maintenance…read moreparts like oil and tires, many gears and I love that they hosts bike meet and group rides. They got good products for good price and are open on weekends. Staff rides too so it's just cool place to be in and they're one of pillars of motoshop near Fullerton. With that being said, I was bummed to find out they are not an great place to take your bike for services more than regular maintenance and let me explain. Last year, my 2009 gsxr started having hesitation issues where bike just doesn't rev up properly. I've been coming here so I called em up and left the bike with them to have it diagnosed. Got called back few days later that it might be an fuel pump and quoted me $1200 for diagnostic, fuel pump parts and labor, and intake boot parts and labor. I was expecting like $3k so I was happy. Dropped off my bike and about week or so later I got a call back that bike is ready. I got there ecstatic and bike felt fine for the 5-10min of riding back home. Next day I took my bike to work and it started doing the same thing. I call them and explained and they were sorry and told me to bring it back in and they'll reservice it free of charge. So I went to drop it off on the way back home and as I was almost at the shop bike started getting worse and almost became undrivable but thankfully I made it. Explain the situation and left the bike there and few days later I got a call that bike is ready, I picked it up and on the ride back home it started doing the same thing. I immediately went back and did the same thing all over again. About another few days later I got a call and I went to pick it up, and on the ride back home nothing really changed. At that point I sort of gave up and bike sat for few months. Until I decided I'll take it to another shop called GP Motomax. They took the bike in and did diagnose and told me it's most likely the fuel pump so they ordered the oem pump which I paid in advance for parts. It took little over a week and when it got there they installed it quick and that solved everything. The tech told me that upon inspection he came to conclusion that tech at Motorhelmet only replaced the motor of fuel pump with aftermarket motor, which explains why bike is good at time of pick up and immediately goes bad after riding for a bit. I absolutely ripped the bike on the way home and I was very pleased that they were able to fix the bike but was also mad that I had to pay $1200 for nothing. So if you just wants oil change, or swapping chains, tires, come to Motorhelmets. They got good price on tire installation and good tire selection in stock. However, if your bike need something fixed like my bike, I would go to go Motomax.

UPDATE: They are currently undergoing a lawsuit…read more Actually fraudulent company. So they used to be called SoCal Superbikes. Now they are Finito Motorsports. Their testimonials on this new website are for this SoCal Superbikes. They allegedly are owned by a different person now and are a completely different company -- according to them. I placed an SC Exhaust order for my bike and planned an install with them back in early February. I paid for the exhaust to reserve the order which amounted to just over $2000. They said they received the exhaust in early March, and to plan a day for install. We had some back and forth over the phone to plan a day to get the install done, but between my work schedule and their upcoming 'relocation' we couldn't get a day planned in the next couple weeks. They said they would call back when the relocation was complete. Fast forward 2 MONTHS I send an email for an update. No response. Two weeks later I send another email. Nothing. I decide at this point this is not a company I should do business with, so one or two days later I ask for a refund and to cancel everything. Nothing. One month later, they message me saying they are now Finito Motorsports and to talk to them now to move things along. The person messaging me is still the same Anthony Nguyen, unless this is an alias for their chat representative or maybe an alter ego for whoever is communicating with their customers. They literally have my order number as the subject line of this new messaging chain, implying my order is still something they are honoring as long as it means I am continuing to do business with them. I ask them for a refund and to cancel the rest of the order, and they all of a sudden say they are a NEW company with a NEW owner at a NEW location. Fun fact: SoCal Superbikes Corporation used to operate with the branding Metonic Riders. Metonic Riders LLC does business as Finito Motorsports. They have at least shared assets, which means they are responsible for outstanding contracts from the acquired corporation. Otherwise, this is fraudulent conveyance and a breach of contract. Do not trust this fraudulent company.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and respectful from start to finish. The sales team was great to work with. I never felt pressured or pushed into buying anything, and they took the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. They were straightforward throughout the process and ended up giving me a really good deal. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop.
