have been coming here since i was a little girl.. and these ladies never fail to amaze us. we come for pedicures, manicures, to get our hair done! thankkkkk you Vicky!!

Glue left over

Asked for French tips. Distracted nail tech did the opposite. He was assisting two of us at the same time. I sled for French tips, (distracted)he said ok. We proceed to do the full set, later I noticed something was off. After I said it was wrong, he took my nails off and didn't offer to redo, angry he almost cut my finger. Now, glue all over and damaged nails. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Will never go back.

Definitely recommend **Celine** for a mani-pedi and brows!!! Did a wonderful French tip!

Chipped after just 3 days, really day 2 it happened but this is so sad I spent $65 I had to share with others

Lots of locals rave about this salon but truly they are just overpriced and basic. Yes the salon is decent, they offer you a beverage the hospitality is a solid 7/10. But $65 for a basic manicure and pedicure (NOT GEL) and for 3 days later almost all the paint is off and my nails seem to be in worse condition than they were before. If you have a decent salon, stick to it, if your not from this area, this is not the best place in my personal opinion. (If you're willing to travel check out my other review on Cherish Nails-- located in Woodbridge)

Cuticle and polish are horrible.

Will never ever come here again. To pay $60 for a basic mani and pedi and have it looking like a 5 year old did it is criminal. I thought I would give this place a try, but Should had listen to the reviews instead. Regret getting my nails done here. Cuticle and polish are horrible.

Second time going and my nails don't last past the first week. Not doing any extensive work and the gel does not last.

I got the milk and honey pedicure and it was very relaxing, by far the best pedicure I've had.

My experience was extremely disappointing. I reserved an appointment online with a specific massage…read moretherapist. I arrived 10 minutes late, and upon arrival was told that the therapist I had booked was not working that day. They offered me a different therapist, but I was informed that this therapist had another appointment scheduled, meaning my session would be cut short. Because of this, I declined the massage and requested a refund. Both the massage therapist and the front desk staff agreed that I would be refunded, so I left without receiving any service. After waiting two weeks with no refund, I called to follow up and was told they would not issue one. In the end, I was charged despite receiving no service at all. This was very frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

This is in their policy but the male employee on the phone was not compassion to this situation what so ever when we were trying to reschedule and not cancel our appointment completely. Regardless of policy, does not give the staff entitlement to be rude... we will never book here again. Don't expect them to be compassionate to any military situation or unexpected life events. Rescheduling is the same as canceling in their eyes. Do yourself a favor and find some where else. Would give 0 stars if I could.

My first time at Essentials Massage and Facials for a one hour massage with hot stones,…read morearomatherapy, and a sugar scrub. The facility is clean and modern, front desk was friendly and professional, and the Massage therapist was polite and knowledgeable. She used a wide variety of skillful techniques and modalities; a couple of which, were new to me. Her pressure was perfect; not too light, and not too heavy. I did upgrade my massage to a more therapeutic massage, as opposed to a lighter relaxation massage. She used the hot stones correctly, and even incorporated hot towels in the beginning, to relax my muscles. Something I was really surprised about, was the fact that she added stretching to the massage. Although that is certainly something that a therapist is taught, and within their scope of work, I would say in all my years since graduating as a Massage Therapist myself (2012), and in getting massages over the years, I have never had a therapist stretch me as she had (not since leaving school). I thought that I was a pretty "bendy" person (if you're a "Friends" fan, you'll recall Phoebe telling Chandler, "I'm very bendy!"). I try to stretch regularly, and still occasionally do yoga. But today, I realized how unbelievably stiff I am. She pushed and pulled, until I was in the shape of a twisty pretzel. At the end, she did a sugar scrub on my feet. I left feeling quite sore, but it was a good sore. Moving forward, I would request a deep tissue massage, but I just want the hands. The hot stones came with my package, but have never really been a fan favorite of mine; the same with the sugar scrub. The aromatherapy was nice. And I certainly could do without the stretching. I need to work on my stretching routine at home more often, before I can be tugged at and extended to that degree. Still, one of the better massages I've received in the area. I definitely recommend!

As a (former) Licensed Massage Therapist, I am very much aware of what to look for in a Massage…read moreTherapist. Even without trying, I am unintentionally analyzing everything from start to finish; this can be both a curse and a blessing. Unfortunately, it can also sometimes make me a harsh critic; in other words, my standards are quite high. I've lived in Virginia for 9 years. In those years, I can literally count just one therapist that I experienced that exceeded my expectations, prior to this massage. All others fell short...and I don't mean "just barely". I mean so bad, they made me question whether they actually received an education, or were simply hanging fraudulent certifications and licensures on their walls. Stress Free Therapeutic Massage (Miss Lydia) reminded me of how remarkable a skilled massage therapist can be. From start to finish, she was indeed incredible! My husband purchased me a 90 minute Groupon. After leaving a message on her voicemail, I received a text message, requesting that I visit the website to schedule. She was booked out somewhat ahead, which now makes perfect sense. As someone who's worked in the field, I understand the importance of being on time for your appointment; there is often paperwork involved for first time visits, and most therapists run a pretty tight schedule, not allowing much idle time between clients. Therefore, if you're late, it runs into the next clients appointment, leaving the therapist faced with cutting your time short, which is often a difficult decision, because they certainly don't want to lose you as a client either. Finding the facility was somewhat tricky for me; I had a small commute to the office, and I wasn't familiar with the area. For reference, this place sits in the back of a building that says "Chiropractor" on the front. If you're looking at Pancho Villa, it's right to the left of the restaurant. Parking is in a lot in the back of the building. Lydia's office is up the steps, to the second floor. Upon arrival (at just after 1pm for my 1:30pm appointment), one of her clients was just heading out. Just as expected, I had some short paperwork, and she got me in 10 minutes early, at 1:20pm. She started with me face down, which ironically is my preferred method. She started on my back, focusing on my noted trouble points (low back and neck). Her pressure remained steady and consistent throughout the massage, showing that she was a seasoned professional. She has great deal of physical stamina and excellent manual dexterity. I personally prefer a firm pressure, and she achieved the perfect level of pressure throughout. She ended the massage just on time, at 10 till 3pm. At no point did I feel like I wasn't receiving the upmost attention and care. Lydia remained professional and skilled, utilizing a variety of techniques. She possesses the ability to use different modalities/approaches to address her clients' needs. Her facility is clean, her demeanor is warm, welcoming and professional. I highly recommend her!
