I am not one who generally posts a bad review blasting someone, but I feel it is needed given the circumstances. Recently I had what I thought was a great experience with Silas Yufa @1800stabyou. She tattooed a special piece for me that added to an existing flower commemorating my grandfather and children while she was guesting in Seattle, but when it came time for touch-up and filling in some missed areas I was met with silence. I first reached out via text on April 3rd, 2024 asking about setting up time for a touch up, no response, then emailed on April 23rd, no response. Then last week I posted a few comments on IG asking for her to get in contact with me so I could have my piece finished and I was blocked. Then I called the studio she works at in Portland @esoterictattoo to get their help and they basically laughed at me, offering no assistance. My only option was to contact the studio in Seattle @thedarkmattergallery that she guested at and Dustin the owner is trying to do the right thing by offering someone who works for him to fix it for free. I have this art on my body that is permanent and unfinished and the treatment I have received is Awful!!!! I loved Silas's work and that is why I reached out to her to do the piece and at the time of our season thought things were great, but an artist should make good on their word and finish their work especially when it's permanent on someone's body and in an area that is always seen. read more

Do not go here. We paid a $60 deposit via Venmo and never received any proofs. We contacted the artist thru instagram with no response. I called the shop and talked to the artist. She said "unfortunately this is just one of those experiences where you learn that the print says non- refundable". I explained I understand that but it is not right to keep a client's money, not respond and not produce a product. Her response was "she has been really busy, but we can use the deposit toward a tattoo". I stated why would we want to work with someone who is unresponsive? read more

Dominick is an awesome artist. He does amazing designs and I love how well he works with the colored ink, the colors on my half sleve are vibrant and it pops out. Dominick is the best. He's a nice guy, a smart dude, a family man, and a damn good artist. I've always came into the shop with the most batshit crazy ideas I could come up with and he always delivers. He's done my pirate ship in space with a skull planet. A blue buffalo neo-trad tattoo that's getting shot by arrows and stuff. And now he just did the first session on a skeleton riding a motorcycle racing from an atomic blast. They are all f*cking badass tattoos. On top of being a really capable artist, he's just a cool dude to hang out with for a night. No pretense and nothing bad to say about the guy. As a somewhat extreme introvert this is really key for me. On another note the shop really has a better feel to it than dead gods. This was my first time at this shop. My tattoo artist was talented! My appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm. I arrived on time but did not get my tattoo started until 4:30pm. Great work! Yet not very punctual. 150$ for setting up an appointment and your out of pocket goes up by the hr. Late appointments should be compensated by the tattoo shop! Great tattoo shop. My friend and I went in on a walk in yesterday to get matching tattoos and they were very flexible about scheduling us. I called in the morning and then emailed back and forth with the artist (Coleman) to discuss the design. When we got there he had it stenciled out and was very patient about changing the little things we wanted and placement etc. The shop was clean and everyone was nice, relaxed and helpful. read more

Dominick is the most amazing tattoo artist! I wanted to get a portrait tattoo of my Grandma's senior picture and of course when getting a portrait tattoo you're always a little nervous.
