My favorite surf shop! It's been a while since I came by but I needed more surf wax and knew ET was the way to go. The staff at ET is really friendly, helpful, and positive. They are not your douchey commercialized surf shop. They also are very responsive on the phone if you have any questions. Even years back, I had some questions regarding their wetsuits and surfboards and they really take the time to help me out in-person and over the phone. ET is well-known among surfers and is trustworthy. Prices are fair and competitive. It is super rare and unheard of to discount wetsuits/ have sales for wetsuits but they do here at ET! They have a huge selection of wetsuits and gear here. I always leave here happy and excited to surf.

Planning on picking up a pair of oniell surf booties but I must warn you this place is dangerous ! You will want to buy everything once entering the store. Crazy selection of surf , skate , clothing equipment and attire . They even sell e-bikes ! Reese was the one who helped me and was super chill . I love the mom and pop indie vibe of this place. I also love that they have 3 parking lots !!!! Check them out . Will definitely be back .

Initially, I wrote a bad review about a surf shop. Since then, I have stopped by multiple times and still, I am greeted with respect and with people who truly know what they are talking about. Initially, I disagreed with a fin box I purchased, but since that interaction, Andrew along with Dan has helped me resolve this issue. It's rare to find surf shops that don't feel like a corporation, and that's why ET has become my go-to spot for all things surf-related. Highly recommend! Just for the heads-up, all sales are final.

Seriously the best surf shop in all SoCal. Authentic, genuine surfers helping other surfers out. Great consultations when it comes to buying a new board- great/friendly/helpful staff. If they don't have a wetsuit or board in my particular size, they'll rush-order it. ET is the place that you want to go to buy skateboards, surfboards, snowboards, or anything relating to those. Daniel the manager is constantly sought out for his expertise, guys like Kyle, Cade, tucker, Will, Tommy, Trevor, etc. are always around to offer help without acting like pushy salesman like some other shops. Since I've started surfing, I've bought and sold boards here, spent countless hours in the shop and they have so many boards, it's a joy to go look at them and even just talk to the guys about the different prospective boards I'd like to buy next. Lastly, and what I believe to be most important, is the customer service. Daniel and these guys are literally THE MODEL for what customer service looks like. Paired with their huge selection and motivation to get their hands on whatever the customer wants, it just makes ET the premier shop for any boarding sport! Brought my board in to get re-leashed. I was helped by Chase who helped me pick out a new one and even let me bring my sandy board inside and Installed the new leash himself, teaching me a thing or two while he did it. Love this place! Decades ago when I was a crazed in love surfer I enjoyed just checking things out in the store(poor student). I just went in because I was getting my car washed next door and found an amazing pair of shorts hybrid amazing color fit perfectly normaly price $100 but I paid $30 I love them so much I wore them out ,all the guys were very nice that work here i love getting good deals makes shopping funner, and I like the shop great location for the beach parking is good look out jacks surfboards e.t is here lol read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Gear is great, sick board selection, and more importantly trustworthy service. Any time I'm about to get a new board I try to give ET my business because the employees are what make this store. I've even been recommended not to buy a board from there a couple times because it's not what I need. Truly helping me dial in that next addition to the quiver. Compare that with the hundreds of other surf shops in SoCal that will do anything to close a board purchase as soon as you glance at the board rack. Keep it up boys! read more

We walked in with some general skateboard questions and walked away with two new boards. The guys that work here know their stuff. I found it easy to talk to them and the attitude was laid back and pleasant. I appreciated that they gave me the knowledge I needed and let me decide if I wanted to purchase anything. This is the best surf shop in LA County. Their pricing is honest, the sales guys are helpful, and they actually do go out of their way to help if there's a problem or you need some form of assistance. The words "customer service" aren't just a phrase there. I wish the shop was closer, but I won't spend money elsewhere, since they've earned my loyalty many times. read more

Good surf shop with a nice selection of boards. I came down here looking for an average wave board. I had my eye on a Lost or a Chilli, and Sonny pulled out a CI board that had a similar outline, but thinner rails and a mini swallow tail. It wouldn't have been on my radar, but he explained why it might work better for me. Really friendly and helpful advice. update: I rode my new board for the first time, and it was definitely a step up compared to the one I am trying to replace. Still good for smaller waves, but more agile and more capable for better waves. Great advice and feedback from Sonny! read more

Been coming here since the late 70's when I was a kid to buy clothes, skateboards and surf stuff. I now live in Nevada and still drop by everytime I'm visiting the South Bay to buy shirts. So, my wife would love to buy some good surf brands but she is always disappointed, she can get Billabong, Quicksilver and other brands like that at any Pac Sun in the country. You guys need more ET shirts, Ripcurl, Channel Islands and stuff like that in women's sizes...and not just for flat chested women...real women too. Also how about more stuff for kids, maybe their own "brand" like "ET Kids"....you guys have a couple of shirts but everytime I'm in ET there are kids of all ages running around....make shirts for them! In closing this time Anthony helped us, give him a raise...he's an EXCELLENT employee! read more

Definitely the most core shop in the area. A true southbay staple. Everytime I have gone there they always have given the best costomer and made sure to beat the competitions prices. Other highlights.... 1. Knowledgeable staff (no looks pushing product that they dont use themselves) 2. Largest boardroom in the Southbay 3. Biggest wetsuit selection with a wide variety of sizes 4. AIR CONDITIONER in the wetsuit try on room. So critical!!! 5. Skate section is massive with tons of new and oldschool decks If you surf or skate you definitely have to stop by. All of the old pictures they have of people ripping in the area for the last 40 years are always cool to look at in the stairwell too. When you see these you will be able to tell that ET has been a staple in the neighborhood and not just some shop that moved in a few years ago to capitalize on the growing sport. read more

Huge inventory!! Just like other reviews said. There were a staff savailable in every corner and they were welcoming. I just bought few items for my husband who does not surf at all. It would have been hard shopping for him if I didn't not chose to go ET Surf. Things were priced few dollars higher compared to others in the area though. read more

Seriously I was jus a "walker in type deal" looked around, didn't get anything tho. My brother surfs and shops here & I came In looking for some stuff & stickers. Didn't find stickers But some guy came up to girlfriend & I and personally handed us "ET shop stickers" seriously, u rock! Now that's service! I will go back. First thing I would like to say is Tommy is very friendly young man great customer service. My son is 11 and he want to learn how to surf so we googled and they are open during the coronavirus outside precautions. They have it very well organized data table set outside. We picked up several things a wetsuit aboard and bootie shoes. We are about 40 to 45 minutes from them but during this time there is no traffic lol. We will come back because of the service was amazing we like to support our mama and papa stores. Hang in there guys good luck to you hopefully we'll see you soon. read more

He saw to my issue immediately, and after the adjustments were made, I fully expected to at least pay for his time and labor, but to my surprise, they did not charge me a Dime for their service and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I left feeling very impressed with the immediate attention to my bike needs as well as for their complimentary service. On today, it was my intention to stop by, but this time for a brake inspection and/or possible service, and again, no disappointments whatsoever. They took my ebike in and diagnosed the issue, and within 30 minutes I was back on the road. These guys are very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, with fast convenient service, and reasonable prices. However, I abhor their customer service. I bought a used pair of Terra 9s from eBay. After the brake fell off while in use (thankfully I was able to drag my skate to stop and wasn't hurt), I searched the internet and found out these skates had been recalled: http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/2006/LandRoller-Inc-Recalls-to-Repair-Roller-Skates/ When I tried to contact the company about the recall, I received no response. I finally had to do an email carpet bomb to all the common email addresses (info@, sales@, support@, abuse@, postmaster@, webmaster@...) before getting in touch with a representative, Barbie Johnson. She assured me that my skates were not part of the recall, and that the brake falling off was just bad luck and a loose bolt. So I asked about getting a replacement brake, and she assured me that the brake for the current model (Mojo) would fit my Terra 9 skates. So I sucked it up and ordered the $7 pad plus tax and an outrage-inducing $15.24 shipping. I told them in the comments field to ship via a USPS priority mail envelope, and they took me up on my advice (but still kept the additional $10 shipping. You're welcome.) This passive, ignorantly homophonous response completely deflects responsibility and leaves me absolutely no options. So my skates are now useless because Landroller cannot support their own product by selling me an essential piece of safety gear. I asked Barbie to let me return the brakes for a full refund. But despite my explicit request 3 weeks ago, a return authorization code and return shipping label have yet to appear. So I contested the charge with my credit card company. At this point I don't care how much better these skates are than Rollerblades. With customer service like this, I refuse do business with them.

Good for me because it forced me to search Yelp for alternatives and that's how I found Farm to Lawn and the amazing Eddie. I like to call him the sod God - not only for his extensive knowledge of the green stuff but because his place is truly the holy grail of sod! You need sod for a project big or small? Eddie and Farm to Lawn is *the* place to go. Don't even bother with Home Depot or Lowe's...their sod is no where near the quality of Eddie's. Even more fantastic is the fact that Eddie's sod is 1/2 the size of the big box stores so it's much easier to manage especially if you're installing it yourself (I did). Eddie shared tips and good info to get my sod established, healthy and fertilized. Farm to Lawn has several varieties of sod so there's one perfect for your unique needs. There's even a dirtless sod for your pet - this was new to me, what a cool thing for your pets (and I understand it's much less expensive than those monthly subscriptions). The price was comparable to HD, but the service, availability, quality and ease of use is 100 times better than the home improvement stores....plus Eddie is a gem. I will never go anywhere else, Farm to Lawn is now my go to for sod and fertilizer. Thank you Eddie!

Where do I start with this one ... a few weeks ago my son needed a new surfboard so we hiT all the obviOus spots in the southbay. We ended upp at ET where we met Daniel. He wAs tremendously helpful and knowledgeable and just a nice guy. We bought a board and went on ouT way... fast forward to a week later when my son broke his new board. He was heartbroken. Being that my son is on his high school surf team I needed to get him back I in the water ASAP.... not only did DANIEL help us again but made it possible that we walk out wiTh a brand new board .... he iS truly amazing he was just as heartbroken as my son. I've known Eddie Talbot for over yrs . I consider my self very luck to know him he is one of the most honest person you will ever meet . Their is no hard sales tactics from anyone in his store . I have been shopping here for years. The people who work at ET actually use the equipment and stuff they are selling AND if they don't know something, they go ask someone who does. The only bad thing is that the place is packed with stuff and you almost have to ask where things are which is ok because the people who work there know and are real nice about helping. Go here to shop in a real surf shop with people that know what they are doing. read more

They only shop in south bay that actually carries boards. I recently bought a board there and didnt like it .. after I rode it once. I returned it and they gave me full credit on a new Stewart.
