Wow, fantastic! We were in town for Vitamin String Quartet and yelp led us here on a Saturday night. Busy but not crowded, great ambience and wonderful service. Every dish was perfectly prepared, nuanced flavors without overstating themselves. And the drink menu, my goodness! We had the smoked maple bourbon, the Moscow mule (possibly the best I've had) and an incredible old fashioned. Staff here truly cares about what they are serving and how they serve it. 5 out of 5, next time we come through we'll be sure to stop in again! read more

Stopped by on one of those days in which we had no clue what to eat and Yelp came to the rescue. Stopped in during early dinner and it was quite empty. We were greeted, seated, and served right away (huge plus). We ordered drinks from their unique cocktail menu and we were not disappointed. The food options were all interesting, and I couldn't help but get the bone marrow burger. Now, I love burgers, but I'd never had bone marrow and I wasn't sure what to expect. Our waitress reassured me that this was a hot item and well, she was spot on. The bone marrow is a thin layer above the patty perfectly set and paired with the rest of the burger. It had the perfect taste, texture, and consistency and not at all what I expected (although I had no expectations LOL). I highly recommend this place for unique food and drink options with great service and reasonable prices. read more

Great watering hole for work happy hours or simply for a hangout with the boys (or girls ). We have a very large group (roughly 20 ppl) and the staff was great at helping serve us even though we literally kept moving around in the section they assigned us. The apps are delicious, I recommend the fried macaroni balls and/of the hot wings! The roasted Brussels sprouts were great too. Beer selection is great for every taste. Only wish they had more of a selection in the stout categories. Plenty of ciders/ales/IPAs. read more

The service was great, Tyler was polite and checked up on us frequently enough to ensure everything was fine, and to take our plates. As usual, the food was impeccable. I favor the bison burger for a wicked kick with a sweet twist, and my partner favors the steak salad, filling yet light enough that it doesn't sit uncomfortably in the stomach. He even likes the blue cheese! They normally don't like it but this is the only place they'll eat it. Finally, the ambiance could use a little work. I can never tell if it's supposed to be a sports bar or if it's supposed to be a slightly fancier family restaurant. The restaurant made a mistake and didn't include all the food in our delivery order, whatever not a big deal. I called to make sure that tomorrow would be able to pick up the rest of the order and the host Oliver confirms that all we need to do is swing by tell the manager we're here for the rest of our order and everything will be okay. He was apologetic for the restaurant missing our order. The next day Belinda the manager caused a lot of stress and wasted nerves over an $18 sandwich. Her disrespectful manner made it clear that the restaurant prioritizes money over customer satisfaction and relations. I will be avoiding Eureka! locations in the future and suggesting friends do the same. read more

Hostess was barely able to acknowledge my husband and son when they walked in to get a table. I think the service and food quality have both gone down hill since the last time we came here. Bathroom for women had water all over the floor and vanity. Soap dispenser was broken. Burger my husband ordered was basically a $20 double patty with Kraft cheese. They ran out of crayons for kids and it took us asking 4+ times to get this answer. Fish and chips has a unique sauce (which they warn you about), but it still wasn't a hit regardless of the sauce. We were looking forward to our visit to Eureka all day and were incredibly frustrated and disappointed by the time we paid the bill. Unfortunately , we will not be returning. read more

Eureka! I have found my new favorite place to dine in! Me and my mum were doing some Christmas shopping and wanted to grab a burger so we came here. We almost decided to dine inside until I saw a glimpse of the outside patio, oh my goodness it's gorgeous! It's covered and heated seating with lights and a fireplace and a plant lovers heaven. And they had the football game on in their bar! So far, Ambiance= 10/10 Then we were greeted and got our drinks- I got the lavender tea and my mum got the watermelon hibiscus spicy agua fresca. Mine was a bit tart tasting and I'm not a huge fan of tart but it was refreshing and was beautiful to look at. 8/10 My mums drink was so good! She got two. They use a habanero salt mixed with tajin rim that fuses and compliments the drink so nicely. 10/10 Entrees- I got the jalapeño egg burger with fries. GOOOOD LAWRD that burger slapped. It was a little greasy but it has burger, bacon, egg (that egg yolk drip!!) , pickled jalapeños and a chipotle sauce I believe in the besttttt and softest and shiniest brioche bun...best burger I've had in a long time. Compliments to the chef, *chefs kiss* And then my mum got the American burger, she said it was delicious! Burgers-10/10 And our waiter was excellent! I came here with my friend, because we were just looking for something simple to eat. I had never been here before, my first time. So not sure what it was that I was expecting. We got brunch I got the chilaquiles. My friend got the avocado toast. Overall it was tasty, but I wouldn't come back here unless I had a friend who wanted to eat here. It's a little expensive for my taste, and if I didn't have breakfast I probably would have devoured the entire meal within minutes, but I've had better food, and for a better price. Knocked down 1 star because our waitress was slow at getting out some salsa to me. If she were a little faster and I hadn't finished up half of my dish by the time that she had gotten out then I'd give this place 4 stars. read more

Solid 3.5 stars - based on HAPPY HOUR (9-close) - ATMOSPHERE I love the open layout. We got a high top and the stools were comfy. CUSTOMER SERVICE I got greeted upon entering, which I always appreciate. The hostess was super pleasant and accommodating. Our server was Andrea. She was nice, but seemed very inexperienced. She didn't know much about cocktails and even after telling her it was our first time there, she didn't really offer any suggestions on what we should try. Our waters weren't ever refilled, and although she did check on us a few times, she made us feel like we were a nuisance rather than guests. She wasn't rude or anything. But, when we were ordering, she made it feel like we were inconveniencing her or something. She's the main reason for the lower score. FOOD We ordered 1 of everything on the HAPPY HOUR menu. There were 5 of us, and it was plenty. The CRISPY GLAZED BRUSSELS SPROUTS were really tasty. I hate brussels sprouts, but the way these were cooked up was absolutely delicious. The glaze is what makes the dish. It's slightly sweet, slightly salty, with a touch of acidity. Gotta order these! The TRUFFLE CHEESE FRIES weren't my faves, but everyone else at the table loved 'em. They raved about the dip, which I thought was just decent. I guess this is one of those "to each their own" things. I had high hopes for the LOLLIPOP CORN DOGS and was sadly disappointed. The batter was soggy instead of light and crispy. I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be, but, it wasn't pleasant. The taste is just "eh". Nothing special. Just cut up hotdogs on a skewer. The dijon mustard was bleh. I would've preferred maybe a few dipping sauce options: regular mustard, cheese sauce, etc. CHICKEN NACHOS were just ok for me. I frequent Lazy Dog and their chicken nachos happy hour portion is HUGE and definitely way more tasty. The cheese was melted, but seemed like it sat out for awhile before getting to our table because the cheese was hard. Ugh. The MAC N' CHEESE BALLS were great! This was one of my faves of the night. It's lightly breaded and deep fried of course. It's delicious with the ranch sauce it's served with. Order these! The CAULIFLOWER BITES were good. They were nicely flavored and perfectly cooked. Soft but crunchy at the same time. The FRIED CHICKEN SLIDER is exactly that. Just ONE slider and a small side of fries for $7. Rip off to say the least, even for happy hour! The chicken was cooked nicely, but there wasn't enough slaw on it so the chicken with the bread made for a dry bite. The FALAFEL BITES were good. Nothing special, although, I did like the toppings they put on top. I absolutely love DEVILED EGGS, and everything is usually better with bacon.... Except these. It was not a pleasant bite. The deviled egg was bland, even with the hint of bacon from the little accent they put on it. Definitely a waste of time and money to order. In their defense, the cocktails were delicious, so kudos to the bartender! I got a couple drinks... VODKA GINGER ALE, MOSCOW MULE, MEXICAN MULE. The sandwich is made on a thick hoagie roll which overpowers the taste of the sandwich. The sweet potato fries were better than the sandwich itself, however they charged it as an add on even though the sandwich itself comes with fries. If sides are verbally recommended by the server, they should inform customers of additional charges. We also ordered the brussel Sprouts and cauliflower bites off the "Happy Hour" menu. The brussel sprouts were ok, Bj's Brewery are much better. The cauliflower bites were good for an appetizer. My regular margarita was subpar, my date had a vodka tonic which he enjoyed. if you love whiskey this place has an amazing whiskey selection!! they only have a few cocktails that do not contain whiskey because it is a whiskey based restaurant BUT the few other drinks are just as tasty! we had the deviled eggs and they were so good! the bacon on top was definitely a great choice! we had the fried mac and cheese balls, as well, and they were great as well. my partner and I have started coming here every week because I am obsessed with the Fresno fig, but now we keep coming because the service is always amazing. when we come during lunch time on weekdays it's not busy at all and the staff are attentive and friendly and seem to go out of their way for the little things. last week we came in on a game day and the restaurant was 100% packed I've never seen it like that! We were told our wait would be 45-60 min and we sat down. I love the restaurants in general. The food is so delicious and they always have the best drink menu! No problem with the food. I didn't like the fact that a 16% tip was already added to the check. The people, idk to call them waitresses, only told us to order on our phone, brought drinks and brought the food. No follow up or checking in. How was that worth 16% more? I would leave $5 tip for not really being a server. I would rather tip $18 or more to a diner waitress for doing more work. read more

This is one of the places that you feel SLIGHTLY catfished by mouth watering pictures of food. I'm not saying it was bad, but I'm not saying it was great. I was with my friends doing a nearby VR experience and we wanted to grab some lunch after, so we open up yelp. This looked perfect- mouth water pictures, good reviews, and something on the menu for everyone in our party. I had the Napa Chicken Sandwich, the chicken itself was really dry and plain. The sauces on the sandwich were good, and that's what they relied on. My husband said the same for his burger. The meat to me is the main part of the sandwich, and needs to be seasoned properly. In today's economy, I would consider this place to be slightly on the pricey side. $18 for a plate of wings, $20 for a burger and fries, $5 for a soda. Sadly, this has become the new normal. So when I pay these prices, I'm often disappointed at the quality of food that I receive in return, but this did not happen at Eureka! Everything we ordered was nothing short of delicious. The Mac n Cheese balls were some of the best I've had, and the Hot Wings (although they could have been a bit hotter) were big and juicy with just the right amount of crisp. My Burger did not reinvent the wheel, but it was everything you would want out of a $20 burger; high quality beef, sitting on a nice bun with very fresh and perfectly stacked veggies. This place is HANDS DOWN the best burgers I have ever had. The food is absolutely amazing. The burgers are on brioche buns, super thick and homemade taste and the crispiest fries. We also loved the fact that you could do group orders for cocktails for it to be a significantly lower price and higher convenience for the group. Also if you're a pickle lover this place has the BEST homemade pickles with a kick of spice and notes of garlic. Our server Anthony was absolutely amazing and quick on his feet. The manager was super nice as well and was running around helping the crew. This place is open until 12am and definitely has the best food in the area! 10/10 I suggest trying! If you go, the wild child cocktail and the American double stacked with a side of house ranch were our favs!!! read more

We used to have Eureka on our restaurant rotation but it's getting harder these days to visit this establishment. We generally like most of the Eureka menu items but I feel that it needs to be updated/scrubbed a bit. I was glad to finally see a "breakfast" item on the menu, but there is only one selection, and that is the "breakfast burrito". It is very good however, why use the smallest flour tortilla - it looks almost like a Chimichanga? Why not make a real breakfast burrito with more of those good fillings in larger tortillas? Not sure what's going on with Eureka staff either but I have been noticing more issues lately - visitors at the front waiting more than five minutes and leaving because there is no hostess at the door for long periods. We struggle to return to Eureka as there are a couple of great alternatives within walking distance and across the street, and if it were not for the nice bartenders and some servers, we would not be returning at all. The staff at those nameless popular establishments consistently greet each and every customer with a smile and warm hello, and they act like they're your BFF. The hostess told us oh you can have a waiter or just use the QR code but theres still the mandatory fee. I have no problem tipping 15 but it seemd like no one ever cares at a place where the tip is pre set. They add a "rip-off" 16% additional charge for nothing. Refused to seat us in a booth even though there was one vacant. I'd gladly add 20-25% in tips (always do, unless the service is exceptionally bad)..., but a "mandatory charge" is extortionary and takes out any incentive for good service. The food did not disappoint, though nothing exceptional. To be fair, the wait staff were really nice & kept checking back to see if we were doing alright and needed anything. Would I go back? The different flavors of the sauce, onions and whatever the rub were clashing. In addition to no napkins, wet bun and ok burger I ordered the charcoal lemonade and hibiscus watermelon drinks. Those were ok as well. My total for a burger with sweet potato fries and 2 drinks came to $40. $25 was for the burger that I couldn't even finish. I'm certain I won't be back. For food we got the truffle cheese fries, bison burger, and the Fresno fig burger. The server's were attentive and kept checking on us, and the food came out pretty fast. The meat on both burgers had a very tasty flavor, great seasoning on the burger, and a perfect char. Both burger tasted amazing, they have a very unique menu and great selection of gourmet burgers. However it is not a place to grab a quick bite because it is a bit costy. I got the brussel sprouts, wings, truffle cheese fries, and the macaroni balls to start and I really liked the brussel sprouts. The wings were cooked super well, with the outside being crispy and inside tender, but the sauce did not wow me. Truffle fries were good, but the cheese dipping sauce I felt didnt add much flavour and was too watery. For my main I got the Bone Marrow burger and I strongly recommend it!! The bone marrow taste wasnt clearly there but the texture and taste of the burger itself was amazing! I needed napkins because of all the juice that resulted from my first bite. All in all this is a good restaurant and if you are looking for a date night or reuninion location this is the place to go. read more
