I think in the past my friend tried to have her wedding rehearsal dinner here but this was during the pandemic, and there was a limit on how many ppl it would be, so it didn't work out. I'm hoping someone from the restaurant gets back to you on this…

Do you take reservations for patio seating?

Was always told patio was first come, first served no reservations. Imagine my surprise when I walked in to try to snag the fireplace, only to be told that the seats were being held for reservations. Please clarify for future reference.

Do you have any happy hour specials for take out or delivery?

We do not have happy hour specials but we do have good deals on our wild child, industry margarita and Beer bags if you order on our website. Thank you!

We ate our meal and by the time we left, I noticed the restaurant was still pretty empty (maybe 4-6 parties). So what happened to all the reservations preventing us from being seated inside at the start? The serving staff were friendly and checked on us plenty of times without being overbearing. On to the food. We ordered the poke wraps, kids pasta, ribeye house butchered, and prime rib. My daughter said that the pasta did not have enough flavor and barely touched it. My wife said the ribeye was ok and it seemed to be cooked to the correct temp/doneness (med rare). My prime rib was honestly, pretty bland and over cooked. I ordered med rare it was more on the med side. Au jus was very light and didn't add much to my plate. The asparagus was cooked well but lacked salt. We all agreed that the best part of the meal were the garlic fries that came with my wife's steak and the poke wraps in a close second.

Food seemed to take a little longer to come out of the kitchen. The food looked good and was okay. Nothing exciting or spectacular on their breakfast menu. Portions were large and leftovers were taken home. Hubby was sad his hot chocolate was not full, was warm in temperature, and only got colder because of all the whipped cream on top. I think my Cali ABC juice was the best! That is definitely something to try.

My family recently had a deeply disturbing experience at Eureka. The night manager and bartender handled a situation in an extremely unprofessional manner, making false allegations and creating a narrative that unfairly targeted and cornered a family member of mine. Rather than de-escalating the situation, they appeared to take it personally and treated her with a level of hostility that was completely inappropriate for a hospitality establishment. What was especially concerning was that staff reportedly began asking her friend personal questions about her, including where she worked and what she did for a living. These questions felt invasive, irrelevant to the situation at hand, and only added to the uncomfortable and hostile nature of the interaction. To be fair, my family member did not respond perfectly and became upset during the exchange. However, her reaction came after being subjected to what she felt were false accusations, personal attacks, and unprofessional treatment. Staff members, particularly those in management positions, are expected to handle difficult situations professionally and respectfully, not escalate them further. What is also concerning is that I have heard negative feedback about this bartender from others in the past, suggesting this may not be an isolated incident. For that reason, I strongly encourage Eureka's HR department and leadership team to thoroughly review what occurred. Came in last night for a quick bite since they are open late and we quickly sat down and we had only waited awhile till we were greeted which was fine I could tell they were a bit busy. A man who I guess was the manager didn't really know because he was sitting at a table with one of the bartenders just eating so I assumed he was a costumer but I was wrong, said he was sorry about the wait to be talked to but we were honestly fine. Our server was great she was very attentive which I loved but I saw the way the manager had spoken to her and I was a bit uncomfortable. Also we were close enough to the bar and say the bartender have a bit of a hard time and again the so call manager was just sitting at the table eating and talking and not helping. I had such a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at Eureka! My friends and family absolutely loved the food and drinks, but what really stood out was the way we were greeted and treated, everyone made us feel like truly welcomed guests. As the birthday girl, I enjoyed every moment of our outdoor seating near the fire, with heating that kept us cozy once the evening cooled down. It was the perfect atmosphere for a celebration. Always driven past this place, never thought of walking in, but I was looking to try something new. When I say try something new, I didn't know I was going to be WOW'D! From the moment my order was taken I was impressed. I even got the chance to meet the manager, a guy named Chris. I didn't know managers were aloud to make customers laugh and not feel nervous at all. He made sure my food and drinks were well taken care of, he showed such hospitality! We had a really great experience at Eureka!. Daisy, our server, was friendly, attentive, and very cooperative throughout the entire visit. She made sure everything came out right and checked in often without being overbearing. We also had the chance to meet Joe, the manager, who was incredibly welcoming and professional. Our waitress, Taylor, was incredibly nice and provided fast service, which made our meal all the more enjoyable. The patio area was very clean, offering a pleasant ambiance for outdoor dining. Eureka Cerritos is my go-to, hands down. Food's consistently great and the staff genuinely makes the experience -- always friendly, always on it. Can't say enough good things about the team here. Only gripe: corporate killed Tuesday trivia, and that's a real loss. It was a great reason to come in on an otherwise quiet weeknight, and now that little ritual's gone. This was our first and our last time at this establishment. I am understanding that they do not accept cash payments, I was a bit displeased with the automatic gratuity but what really upset me was sitting in a near empty restaurant for 10 minutes with my husband while 4 employees ignored us. The manager, Jonathan, actually reached out to me the day after my review and offered his apologies for our disappointing experience. He also refunded our entire bill which was so kind and unexpected! She said she's never handled that before, since she recently relocated from Temecula to Long Beach. But, she would ring it up, afterwards. Already red flags started to pop up, with visions of last year's issues floating in my head, so I asked if I could use the promo on a beer, which she replied in the affirmative. Ordering a pint of Blue Moon, I quenched my thirst on a hot August day, and that's when things turned sour. Upon trying to redeem the dining credit via Toast Local app, the beer was denied several times. I asked if my beer could be comped, and told she couldn't. She should have, because it was her mistake, but she did not. I then asked if perhaps the promo isn't valid for beer, and she said that might be the case. So, I decided to order a $5 carne asada taco. Carne asada taco- Tough, old, not hot. The carne asada taco was a terrible excuse for a street taco. Not even worth half the $5 price tag. No bueno. Upon redeeming the promo via Toast Local app for my taco, I was again met with several denials. Porque? What can I redeem the promo on? The employee again explained she was new, and unaccustomed to the birthday redemption. She then took pics of my Toast Local account number & QR code. Paying the $5 plus tax, I was ready to be on my way. Second year, I'm out. Again, I had issues redeeming my birthday month promo, and I've had my fill of Alas Toxicas. I should've been comped for the pint of Blue Moon, seeing how it was no fault of my own the employee didn't know how to input things. With that, and a subpar facsimile of a carne asada taco, I have no plans on returning.

Oh well. Pizzas were good! Mine was a typical supreme pizza with LOADS of cheese, tasty marinara, mushrooms, onions, olives, bell peppers, fresh tomatoes and a small amount of sausage and pepperoni. It's a very veggie forward pizza, which I was fine with. I was full after two slices. I thought his pizza would be super heavy, but is was not! The base was chili that tasted a LOT like Tommy's, so we were happy with it. There is a layer of cheddar cheese, some pastrami, and lots of pickles. I picked up on the chili flavor more than anything. Lunch was $40 for the two pizzas, a beer, and an iced tea. If we lived closer I am sure we would have them again, but it wasn't great enough to make a trip out to Cerritos again.
