I was in an appetizers mood ordered the mac n cheese balls and nachos. The Mac balls were 4 stars for me- they really nailed it with have a crunchy exterior, and rich and cheesy interior. I'd definitely order those again! The nachos were more of a 3-star dish for me. Terrible service. Ordered on 11/2/25, picked up order and order was wrong, they did not include the fries... The manager came out and stated fries are being made, "but you did the order wrong". I told him the order is correct and ordered it correctly, I order a burger which comes with fries and order a fruit which is an extra 3 dollars so it is a 20 dollar meal plus the fruit come for 23.00 plus tax. Told him to look online and you will see that fries come with the order... I got my refund back. I have never in my life seen a smaller portion of fish and chips. I actually laughed when they brought out the plate. They took it back, agreeing it was too small a portion and brought it back with an extra crumb they dug out of the bottom of the deep fryer. Went to dinner at 5:30 on Friday... I was actually surprised with how quickly the place filled up, especially for how new the restaurant is. It seems that people know about this place already! The food is actually really good. The service sucks. Mark at the bar is so nice and is very attentive but he could for sure freshen up on his menu and liquor knowledge. I ordered fish tacos no onions. It came out with onions. Fine. It happens. Mark offered kindly to fix it. After watching a server at the service well be super disrespectful to him, and having super inappropriate conversation, I asked to just cancel my tacos and grab the check. I was then offered to keep the tacos and take them off the check. I told them not to waste the food. Shortly after the same server came out and basically tossed the tacos at me. My fish tacos consisted of fish and tortilla... they said every single topping had onion in it so they did what they could. (The manager told me this). Why wouldn't you tell me this upon ordering that it might not be the dish for me? Been there three times. Food always great. Service always sucks. Today was the final straw. We won't be back. Went here with my friend the other night, such a nice spot! Salina our server was great, very attentive and friendly. The food was soooo good and the drinks were great! We got truffle fries, goat citrus salad, and ahi tuna stack- all delicious and fresh. We also got the wild child cocktail and the punk lemonade cider. I loved their unique selection of different beers AND ciders! A lot of places don't think twice about gluten intolerances or offering ciders so I was very pleased with their selection. We've been here twice now and we'll keep coming back. The 4 stars is mostly for the ambiance and happy hour. The servers we had both times were fantastic! That said, cocktails are delicious but definitely on the weaker side. Food is good but wish they had more "less fried" options. I'm not sure if the fish tacos were worth $19, but they sure did taste great They did skimp on the tortillas, just one street taco tortilla wasn't getting it, the dam thing fell apart in my hands. I'll ask them for an extra if I ever return. And of course I love dessert, but $13 for a measly slice of turtle pie? Pass. Another spot that we tried for the first time a few weeks ago, food is pretty good! I don't think the burger was anything too fancy but it was good for what it was! The staff was super friendly and the ambience was nice and calm with minimal lighting so it's not bright but not dark. Finally stopped in to this place the other night after months of trying to get here. It was Saturday night and the place was not too busy. We were seated right away and our server, Danny, came over and was fantastic. He explained everything to us. He had great recommendations. After a few minutes, we were ready to order, and again waited and were looking around for our waiter. He finally showed up and took our order. We waited again, a good long time and finally our food was coming. Nope, not our food. Wrong table. At this point, I noticed the people next to us who'd been seated after us, holding their menus, looking around like, "where the hell is our waiter, we'd like to order!" And after reading some of the reviews, I see the service has been an issue for others as well. Management needs to get a handle on this. It wasn't really busy but it was not slow either. The drinks were sub par and ultimately decided that we weren't going to stay for dinner because service was so slow. We asked for the check since we had finished our drinks, but the fried pickles still hadn't come out. We asked for them to go and it still took another 8 min. The bar tender was hustling the whole time and could have used a second set of hands. The manager or another server could have helped keep things flowing behind the bar. It was a Friday evening but we were lucky to get a table. Our server greeted us and asked us about our water options, after we were served water he took our drink order and a starter. He did not take our order for our entree. Our drinks came out then about 15 minutes later our starter. Still did not take our entree order, and now we were finished with the starter. Our order was taken and it was a good vibe in the restaurant, so the wait was not bad. We ordered the fish tacos and the ahi sandwich. For sides we got the sweet potato fries, French fries and the street corn. The tacos were tasty along with the ahi sandwich. Both fries were good however the sweet potato ones were a little soggy. The street corn, horrible. When you hear street corn you think Mexican corn on the cob with crema, tajin and cheese. Even though it wasn't on the cob, which is fine, it tasted like canned corn with some kind of sour cream sauce. No flavor and by the texture it was not fresh. The drinks were good, and the pours were nice. Even though it was a bit slow, an hour and a half for dinner. We liked the food and the service. Great place to take friends when they are in town, or to go for a nice local dinner. read more
