New addition to this restaurant row along FO Blvd. Although Eureka! is a chain, it doesn't have the "chain feel." What I like is that they also have outdoor patio seating in the back! I have been to their Roseville location which has an entirely different feel. This location feels a bit more relaxed. Came here to check it out and coincidentally on Tuesdays the wine is 50% off, even bottles (only if they offer wines by the glass). One of my favorites is the Daou cabernet from Paso Robles. The interior is modern with subdued lighting and this place is so new you can still smell the wood furnishings. There is a bar area as well as an indoor seating area. The cuisine features burgers, sandwiches and salads. I spied beer battered onion rings and so of course I had to try them. Crispy, but not as delicate as I would have liked, they still hit the spot. Our server was on point. Attentive but not too annoying, she made sure we were well looked after. Only open since July 20, 2026, I'll be sure to be back to try out their other menu items! read more

The new place is very beautiful inside and out. We really needed a restaurant like this in the Arden area. They've only been opened a few weeks, they're doing good it seems! We went for lunch, service was good, food was good (had the lunch special fish and chips and regular size Philly cheesesteak), but it was interesting that the lunch meal had an enormous amount of fries (not complaining there) and the Philly cheesesteak didn't have a good portion of meat and it was small with only a small amount of fries. So, the portions were a little off, but won't deter us from returning! read more

Tried the new Eureka location in College Commons. Super cute, modern welcoming interior. Even better they have a fun outdoor seating area. Servers are nice, especially Madison who provided great recommendations and checked in on us without being overwhelming. Eureka offers a great "Hoppy Hour" aka happy hour that overs a lot of delicious choices. Their bread and butter is specialty burgers, so if this is your jam book mark and or hit up this spot ASAP. Note: the parking lot is not large enough to accommodate the different businesses in this plaza, so beware parking might be a problem during meal time hours. read more

I've never been to Eureka! I loved my experience here. We were kindly greeted and seated when we entered. Our server was fantastic as well as the other staff. She kept checking in on us and the bussers took care of cleaning plates! The bar is beautiful and eye catching. The indoor and outdoor seating is awesome. I like how shaded the outside area is. There's some good deals on food and drinks here. Every day offers something new which I like. The Sunday I went in there were $13 mimosa flights so I loved that. There's also the lunch menu which I ordered the fish and chips from. I look forward to trying other things too such as the poke bowl. This place is still new and they are figuring things out. The service is a little slower so please be aware of that when you go. With time, I bet this will improve! This just allows more time to gather with the people you are dining with! I've been to another Eureka and we did not have a great experience so I was a little reluctant to try this one. I called to make a reservation for 5 inside because it was incredibly hot that day. When we got there we were seated right away. The parking in the shopping center is not great so my husband was parking the car and I was trying to sit down with my kids. They were having a bit of a meltdown and the waitress came by and asked if there was anything she could do to help, it was so nice. I ordered drinks for the kids and they brought our kids snacks right away, a plate with oranges and carrots for all 3 of them. I don't know why more places don't do this, it easily helped calm them down. The "hoppy" hour here is great - I've had the spa margarita and the wild child cocktails. Both delish and would recommend! We really like the nachos and the fried pickles too! After getting some appetizers we ordered our meals - they have a kids menu so we got Mac n cheese and chicken bites. Each kids meal comes with fries or fruit too which was nice. I ordered the Caesar salad as a wrap and my husband ordered the jalapeño egg burger. Both were good, not the best wrap or burger we've ever had but we'd order again! They just opened so we had a few issues with the correct side for the kids, the pickles not coming out until the end, but they were apologetic. I think they're truly still working out some kinks. Is this the most gourmet meal in Sacramento? Probably not, but if you are looking for a good happy hour or a place to take kids I would definitely recommend. I'm sure we will be back! read more

We both decided on fish & chips. Served piping hot-- the two pieces of cod were quite tasty. The fries crispy on outside & melt in your mouth inside. Love this spot!!! They have seating outside & have misers 2 help keep u cool!!! It was way 2 hot that day, so we chose AC inside. Madison was our waitress & she was awesome!!!! The iced tea was fresh & delish!!! They offer $13 deals every day & I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos w/ fries & my daughter had the double smash burger off their regular menu. I my daughter & I like 2 split dishes so we can try more than 1 thing so I gave her a taco & she gave me a quarter of her burger. The shrimp tacos -YUM!!! The corn tortilla was fresh, soft, & DELISH!!! And it had orange pieces on it which I thought was strange until I tasted the taco. Soooo good!!!! The burger was cheesy, juicy, & seasoned well. Really enjoyed dinner here. It's a beautiful space inside, and a large outdoor patio nicely furnished, with a beautiful big tree next to the patio that is in the back so well off the street. food all very good, we had fish tacos, fried pickles and spicy chicken Sandwich. I appreciated option of having green beans as my side but they were a bit bland, hubby's fries were better :). Service great, everyone seemed very naturally friendly, they were overstaffed for the number of diners so it felt like one sever was hovering oddly, but I'm sure that won't last as they get busier. Only "issue" was our app served same time as dinners, but timing fine otherwise and prob just part of working out kinks during soft open. Very robust cocktail menu w lots of bourbon choices. the ambience was really nice. The service was mediocre, our server kept hovering over us and kept coming back to tell us that all the ingredients were made there locally. The food- appetizer fried pickles or delicious.! My hamburger and for $90 it was just OK. It was dry. It was supposed to come with arugula on it and maybe two pieces of arugula on there and then the sweet potato fries were bone cold. And for proclaiming that they are very good with whiskey drinks I've gotten so many better ones from local bars. It was watered down. I didn't complain- but let the server know and they gave us a $10 credit for the next time we come in. read more

New Restaurant- been open just under 2 weeks. Went for lunch. Lunch specials til 3 during the week then happy hour after 3. Staff were friendly and helpful. Burgers were moist and flavorful, one of had a lettuce wrapped burger, bacon, bbq-delicious! We were recommended the Truffle Fries which were tasty as well. We went to the soft opening of the new Eureka location in Sacramento. It's a busy parking lot and parking can be a little challenging but it's not terrible. Service was great from start to finish. Great awareness by our server and other employees. They brought out small plates with small snacks for our girls while we waited for our food. The kitchen was running like a well oiled machine and the wait times were minimal and everything looked and tasted great. We started off with the dry rubbed chicken wings and the truffle fries. Both were fantastic. My wife had the fish tacos and loved them. I opted for the Cobb salad and steak frites. Both were stellar. My little one had a cheeseburger and tater tots and my oldest had the mac and cheese balls and street corn. She's becoming a tiny teenager and is becoming a bit of a pickier eater and absolutely loved everything. We ended with the carrot cake and key lime pie which everyone loved. My wife loved her iced tea and the girls loved their mocktail type drink they chose. They have a terrific beer and whiskey selection and even offer a monthly whiskey club that's currently sold out. We'll definitely be back soon and it's nice to have a location closer to home. read more

Met a few friends for lunch today at 12:45. Great looking dining room. Ordered an app (fried pickles) while we waited for two friends (pickles were delicious, but didn't come with enough dipping dressing). Asked for a straw for my water which never came. The rest of our group arrived by 12:50. We were greeted and drink orders taken. Restaurant, including patio, was about half full (decent lunch crowd). We waited over 20 mins to place our order and had to flag down our server to do so. Orders placed around 1:10-1:15. One friend had to be back in her office by 2:15 (only blocks away). Order was not complicated...Cobb Salad, Salmon Caesar, Fish Tacos, Poke Bowl (appetizer). At 1:45 our food had still not come. Server walked by several times, never stopping to apologize or let us know that our food would be coming up. By this time the restaurant had cleared out and we were one of maybe 5-6 tables remaining. Around 1:50 we were looking for her to see what the hold up was, thinking we may have to ask for our friend with the work schedule to have her order packaged up to go. But, just then the food arrived with an apology, but no explanation for the long delay (over 30 mins). We mentioned at this time that one friend was now pressed for time to get back to work (hoping to politely light a fire under our server for more attentive service). Food was fine. Nothing to write home about. My friend said her al pastor fish tacos were bland. The fries it came with were good. She asked for more ketchup for the fries about halfway through eating. We ate and had to flag our server to ask for our check so our friend could get to work, asking for the ketchup again. Server asked about splitting the bill, and we asked if we could just give her 4 cards (to split evenly...seemed easier than separate bills, plus we shared the pickles. She said that was no problem, but brought us separate checks anyhow adding the pickles to one friend's tab. Again, she did not bring the requested ketchup. By the time she came back to take payment our one friend had already had to leave, so the whole separate checks was a waste of time (we hadn't requested them anyhow), so I covered her and she sent Venmo (easy enough)...but lame since we allowed 90 mins to order, eat, and visit on friend's lunch break which has always been plenty of time as we meet for lunch like this fairly often. We all agreed that the burger menu looked interesting and we'd like to go back to try a burger. Maybe we just didn't order the right food to judge a new eatery. We also agreed that the service was amongst the worst we'd ever received while dining out. Note that the server was pleasant enough for sure, but just not good at her job...I mean, really bad. Overall it was a great disappointment, but again we'll try one more time to see if those burgers are as good as they sound. read more
