That process was simple and easy, and of course an option to have a person come to the table was available as well. The drink selection is excellent and, to quote the servers' shirts, "no crap on tap". We had four different entrees at the table, all were terrific. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich, and I genuinely think it was the best piece of fried chicken I have ever eaten. Chicken nachos appetizer was also outstanding, and just the right size. I definitely enjoyed the unique combination of flavors it had - especially the goat cheese, which really stood out (may have been a bit much, but, hey, I just love goat cheese in a burger). I also asked for a subtitute of green beans instead of fries, and boy was I pleased with how it turned out! They were nice and crisp, and you could really taste the ginger. I'd probably go back and try the same thing again another time, though I was surprised that there weren't many veggie burger options. This seemed like the kind of place that would have that sort of option, yet there was only one vegan burger option and nothing to indicate that beef patty/veggie patty swaps were available. Came here with 2 people around 7 on a Monday and had no wait. Ordered a burger and fish n chips which came out like ~30 min later. Fiancé wasn't too impressed with the burger and kept swiping bites at my Fish n Chips, which was understandable because they were delicious!! Very well seasoned, hot, and HUGE fillets (I ended up eating with a fork). Fries were pretty standard. Service was okay. The staff were nice but didn't seem to come around too often, and I never got a re-fill of water. It's been awhile since I've eaten at EUREKA!. I met up with my husband there today for lunch and was reminded that this restaurant is a delicious dining option at University Village. I was craving a burger so I decided to protein and carb load on a Bison Burger with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. I split my burger in half and ate a quarter of my fries which was plenty filling enough! My husband ordered the 28 Day Dry-Aged Burger with a side of their Signature (Regular) Fries. We both really liked our food and thought the service and ambiance was mellow and quick. Keep this restaurant in mind the next time you are craving some American food and shopping at U Village. I really liked how the majority of the beer options were brewed locally either in Washington or Oregon. FOOD: the entree menu is mostly burgers. I tried the bison burger, which had a bacon-infused with jalapeno jam, mozzarella, charbroiled peppers, and grilled onions. The burger was a little too sweet for my taste, but it still came together with the charred pepper's complex smokey aromas and flavor. I thought the fries could be crispier and juicier - they tasted a bit bland and were dry. The mac cheese balls were absolutely delicious! It had the perfect balance of breading and pasta. I met some friends for dinner at 6pm on a Sunday. The place was packed by were seated right away. The hostess and servers were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is laidback and welcoming. We ordered falafel bites and Mac and cheese bites for appetizers. The mac and cheese bites were hot but very bland. Falafel bites were good. I ordered a cowboy burger and although it looked amazing, it was just okay. The burger had little seasoning and was very bland and the french fries could have been seasoned more too. Great family spot with consistently delicious food and incredibly kind waitstaff. We've frequented Eureka several times with our three young children and have always had a wonderful experience. Super soggy Brussels sprouts were definitely not crisp and the fish on the tacos was barely a full serving. Salad swimming in dressing. Everything tasted bland and undefinable. After clearing the plates - and dropping a side of salsa on the floor which splashed up our legs, no apologies or offer to help clean up of course - the waiter literally put the payment tablet on one of the dirty plates still on the table! We have always loved Eureka and when browsing the UW Village wanting a snack I knew just the place! I have always loved their burgers and truffle fries, but this time we just ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and oh my goodness it is so yummy! It is served with tortilla chips as well as some baguette slices however the baguette slices were extremely hard so those weren't for me, but the chips with dip were great! The only thing I would note about the chips is they are very heavily salted and I found myself trying to dust the salt off so it didn't ruin the dip flavor. We were seated right away and served pretty quick. We needed our check right away as we were waiting on an important phone call to leave for and our server was very understanding and took care of that for us right away. Then ordered old fashioned. Took another 20+ mins and was watered down; worst old fashioned I've ever had and I ordered them regularly at restaurants. I also ordered veggie tacos and a Caesar salad for dinner. It came on a single plate, 3 tiny tacos and a side Caesar. Tacos were terrible. Literally had a small thin slice of avocado, a couple pieces of carrots, pickled onion on basically just 1 taco, cilantro on 1, and the "bean smear" is about 3 beans worth of beans on each taco......... this was probably 300 calories and $16.50. Carrots were way undercooked too. Pretty gross. Will say that the mac and cheese balls and fried pickle appetizers were good. But every other part of the experience was bad, though they did bring ice cream with candles for my fiancés birthday. I get we had a bigger group, but ordering entrees before our first drinks get here.. and my entire being more like an appetizer is crazy. Then finish off with a watered down old fashioned is ridiculous.. Overall, will not come back. Third time here and this experience was probably the worst I've had at a restaurant in the last year or so. $63.50 with tip for the tiny tacos, small Caesar, watered down old fashioned, and ok espresso martini. 3.5* - came in on a late weekday lunch and it was pretty empty but I think it was timing. I've been here for drinks only before during game days and it gets pretty packed but this review is for the lunch. We were seated right away with choice of tables and service was good but could have been better. We didn't get any refill on our drinks until we flagged someone down. First time having their food and we ordered the glazed Brussels sprouts, falafel bites as appetizers and the grilled shrimp salad and short rib burger naked (without the bun). The Brussels sprouts were a tad on a sweet side but charred well so it was balanced. The falafel while tasty was a bit oily. As for the main course, here was where I was more disappointed. The shrimp salad had some rice noodles in there and were al dente, well more like under cooked. As for the short rib burger, I probably shouldn't have ordered it naked, since it came with a arugula salad underneath the burger with lemon vinaigrette. The flavor clashed with the Kim chi on the burger and tasted just odd. I'd give this place another go when I'm around the area and I'll be sure to keep the bun on this time. read more

A great option for University Village especially with its excellent food safety rating. (I had the misfortune of eating at an Asian spot here which is popular since a friend insisted and fell really sick afterwards and later noticed that restaurant has a super low needs improvement rating). We loved the patio especially with our pup in tow. It was a pleasant evening. The fried chicken sliders were yummy but definitely not filling enough without fries. They were sweet because we eliminated the firecracker aioli (spicy), but overall they were satisfactory and definitely a great choice. The Napa Chicken Sandwich was great. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the oven-roasted tomato exploded inside your mouth. It was a bit filling, and the bread (while delicious) was the main reason why. It was very good though and something worth ordering again. The fish tacos were wonderful. They were an appropriately sized portion and satisfying, with a little kick of spice. If you don't mind spice, it's a great order! The kids' chicken tenders were great. In the seven year old's words: "They were very nice and crunchy and fresh". They were a hit and with the fries made a nicely filling kids meal. We would definitely go back the next time we are in University Village and would recommend it to any other families who are looking for dinner in the area! read more

One of our favorite burger spots! Happened to discover this place one day when we were shopping at this mall and smelled something irresistible - it happened to be this place. My husband and I continue coming back for the mac n cheese balls, Eureka American burger and Double smash burger. I recently tried their bison burger but honestly wasn't a fan though you may like it if you are into a very spicy pepper on top of your meat. The Eureka American, though some may call basic, is so flavorful and mouth watering with crisp lettuce and a grilled onion. Their fries are always delicious as well. The noise level inside was intense, I had a hard time hearing the person right across from me. The service was lackluster, you could tell she really really didn't want to be there. The food was bland and overpriced. I got a salad and she said "what protein would you like?" I assumed it came with protein so I said chicken. Come to find out it was an extra $9 for chicken and there were maybe 10 TINY pieces of chicken in the entire salad. French dip bread was mushy and pale in color, the burgers were meh at best. Chicken tenders were over cooked and dry. The cauliflower bites were bland, chicken wings with beer BBQ sauce were the only thing I'd consider good, and I'm actually really easy to please (despite this review.)
