I have done business with this dealership for 25 years, having purchased five cars from them during those 25 years. Recently I had my 50,000 mile service completed at the dealership and was told by the service advisor that my car needed new brakes and rotors, as well as some other fluid flushes and replacements. Since the quote from the dealer was substantial, I decided to take my car to Euro Motorworks, where I had taken my wife's Volvo after it was out of warranty, and where the service was performed satisfactorily and affordably. They sent an invoice with recommended service for next time but there was zero pressure or pushing to proceed with anything extra this time. Brought my car in, for my first appointment here, and it was a great experience. Making an appointment was a breeze. Response time via Yelp was very fast (next day) and calling to make my appointment was even easier. No long wait for someone to pick up the phone or waiting to be connected to the service department like you might find at many dealerships. And best of all, the woman who picked up the call was very friendly and helpful. She actually answered all my questions and didn't need to transfer my call to someone else. A loaner car was also offered, which I was not expecting so that was a very pleasant surprise. Dropping off my car and getting the loaner early in the morning as well as picking up at the end of the day were equally fast, easy and truly a breeze. The service rep was also very helpful and I really appreciated his covering of the service to be completed and letting my know he'd call if they saw anything else the might need to be addressed, as well as his call when everything was done and ready for pick up. i just like to say when josh was working here euro motorworks had good integrity. fast forward now to the manager who took josh place has no integrity. i went to euro motorworks 02/19/2025 with the diagnosis of a sos malfunctioning message. talked to the manager about the diagnosis at which time he went to the service manager and came back, said they could fix the sos malfunction which would be $165-$200 i them stated back to the manager you can fix the issue for that price and the manger said yes i then scheduled my appointment for 02/25/2025 only to find out now they want to charge me $1400. euro motorworks i feel use to be a honest business but i see at this point they care nothing about customer satisfaction. why would i pay $200 for a diagnosis that i already had and talk to euro motorworks about!! bad business come back josh to save this company! read more

This is a long review, but let's just say they missed on multiple levels, from service, communications, and customer service, they missed on all cylinders. First issue, when I scheduled the service, I asked for a loaner as my daughter would be driving an hour to drop the car, and that she would drop her car on a Wednesday and pick it up on Friday. This was okayed by the shop as we would not have scheduled the appointment otherwise. But when we declined the initial service estimate(I will explain more later) their customer service gal Lauren started to demand that we return the loaner immediately, with her mother Gloria calling my daughter Friday morning and leaving one of the least professional messages I have ever heard, and I worked as a general contractor for 15 years. While I followed up with Terry the other owner, he was apologetic, but I cannot say that was enough as Gloria owes my daughter an apology for her rant. Now as to why we declined the service. The car is a 2008 Black Audi A4 Wagon, the heater was not working, and she had just purchased the vehicle and we had an estimate from a local shop for $1200(but they could not do the work in time for her to drive home). When Euro diagnosed the vehicle, and Lauren called me, she pointed out that they also needed to replace the oil filter housing(I have since learned is a common Audi B7series issue) as that was the root cause. This where the expertise came into question. I had asked them to replace the Xenon bulb that was causing an error message on the passenger side lamp and check the TPMS sensor as well. Lauren then explained that the car didn't have TPMS and that the dash had been replaced. When I probed further on this issue she told me they realized that as the mileage was lower than when they serviced the car before. Well, they had looked at our 2007 Silver A4 Sedan in February, so I then told her they have the wrong car, as this car came from out of state. This is where Lauren showed a combination of carelessness or even recklessness. She told me the car must be the same color, I said no, it's black and it's a wagon. This caused me concern and so when I had a chance to look at the estimate(which was still for the wrong vehicle) I was not in a trusting state. The estimate for the heater core was $1400, not out of line from my expectation. The oil filter housing estimate was $1800. They had also added a new battery for $480 simply because it was the wrong size(no performance issues were noted). They also had a heater core flush lined out for $500, which would be in hopes that the core would not need to be replaced. Now, I do understand that potential option but Lauren made no effort to convey that they could try the flush and if unsuccessful, then they would replace the core. Additionally, I have an issue with them not simply making a note about the battery, rather than placing it into the estimate. The car is 16 years old, why add effectively 10% to the estimate? So the initial estimate came to $4,437. This included $950 of charges that were unnecessary to a full functioning result. They also had around $430 in parts listed that were not needed for the repair. So, if they were being "client centric" they would have conveyed options based upon priority and for the actual job. By the way, my Audi tech here at home has agreed that those parts I referenced were not needed for the job. Lastly, knowing that I should not drive the car hundreds of miles, and looking into shipping the car home, I reached out to Lauren one more time to see if they could at least complete the work in time, she said no. At this time I pointed out to her my issue with the battery, and that if they wanted to line item it out in the notes that would have been fine, This is when she, quite unbelievably, said that they wouldn't want me to have another shop point out the battery and wonder why Euro Motorworks didn't, as they are very thorough. I pointed out to her that to be considered through, you have to actually be thorough and not being able properly identify the car that you are working on shows that you are not what you claim to be. Had I not had a shop here at home that trusted, I would not have know about to overcharges, but I still would not have hired them as Lauren and Gloria don't deserve to be rewarded for Lauren's carelessness and Gloria's rants. My shop here estimated the heater core at $1100 and the oil filter housing at $1300. So in the end I was happy to pay $800 to ship the car, and completed all of the work myself. They had 6 hours of labor for the oil filter housing and another 6 hours for the heater core. I completed both in less than 4 hours. I swapped the battery at Costco $130. I would not recommend them. read more

After five unreturned calls from the Mercedes dealership, I researched some alternatives and found myself at Euro Motorworks. They answered the phone, got me in quickly, and completed the service. A week or two later, my check engine light went on when my husband was driving ( I was in the hospital after just having a baby so it was a bit urgent to get the car looked at). They got us in immediately and took care of it. I once again called to get something small fixed and they got me in the next business day! They provide too notch service at competitive prices. I had been going to this shop for years and was generally happy with them, until I had an issue with my car not starting after getting gas. I dropped it off and they said they couldn't find an issue and still charged a diagnostic fee. I then called a friend who told me it is probably the purge valve, just from me telling him what it was doing. He never looked at the car but was able to diagnose the issue. During the test drive, John admitted to issues with my car's performance, yet they still declared it ready for pickup. Despite promises to call back, John left me hanging. If you like being lied to, overcharged, and getting cornered into paying extra fees, this is the place for you! My Audi had been to these guys a couple of times in the past. Each time, I'd scheduled an appointment for what I needed and that service was done for the quoted price. So when my engine developed a valve cover gasket leak, I started looking for quotes to repair that. Online, Euro Motor Works popped-up with a few other shops and quoted $185, this was on average with the other shops. I scheduled an appointment to have my valve cover gasket replaced, and took it to them on time. A few hours later, they called me to inform me that an evaluation of my car had been performed for $90 and that my valve cover gasket needed to be replaced at a cost $320. So I'm on the hook now for $90 whether or not I have them proceed, and the total repair has more than doubled in price! Feeling cornered, and now up against a timeline, I had to agree to them complete work. When picking up the car and paying the ransom, they asked for my opinion of my experience. I expressed my objections and was called by a manager who listened to my complaint. She offered to contact the online advertiser who offered their service for $185. She called later enthusiastically stating that the online service would be sending me a check for around $200 and that I should get it within a few weeks. Several weeks come and go and no check. I called the Euro Motor Works manager to inquire about said check and was informed that they had changed their mind. No refund. Take your car somewhere else. The dealership costs about the same as they do, but treats you better. read more

They got me in fast, gave me options, fixed it in a day and the courtesy vehicle was great! A month later, my car is still running great with no issues. It pains me to write a critical review of Euro Motorworks, but in the spirit of keeping Yelp an effective resource, I feel it's necessary. I've given this company high marks in the past, but I feel that the service has definitely declined in the past year or so. I brought my 2001 Mercedes E320 wagon in for an oil change on July 21, 2016. I also mentioned the BAS warning light and "defective light" warning light I was getting. Josh called me that afternoon and mentioned that it would take a little longer to figure out the warning light situation, and gave me an estimate for that work, which I agreed to. I picked up my car the next day, July 22nd. Within a few days, I was getting the defective light warning, and also a warning that my washer fluid was low. I thought the latter was really odd, considering I just had the oil change. But it wasn't worth bringing it back for washer fluid, as I'd rather replace that myself instead of driving back to Euro Motorworks -- it was just annoying. Last week, however, I got a warning light that my oil was low. I checked the oil stick, and it is very low. This led me to wonder if the oil change was not done on July 21-22. Maybe with the focus on the warning lights/brake light situation, the oil change fell through the cracks. On top of this, the complimentary car wash was not done, since the guy who does that was out. I did receive a coupon for a Mike's car wash. The washer fluid was completely empty, so I used what fluid I had on hand, which brought it about half full. I stopped by on Wednesday, September 14th, and Josh looked at the oil. It was a quart low, so he put a quart of oil in, and topped off the washer fluid. I paid $117 plus tax for the oil change, and I expected the excellent service that I have received in the past from Euro Motorworks. I don't feel that Euro Motorworks delivered on that promise in this instance. I brought my concerns to Gloria Heath, and the response back was quite defensive. She suggested that a leak and/or the age of my car had caused a quart of oil to be lost/burned in 1.5 months since it was supposedly topped off. There is no noticeable leak, though past and the most recent service reports stated there was oil on gasket which indicated a "medium leak." (These reports were in the form of estimates banking on future service work). The kicker was when Gloria said I shouldn't expect perfection. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect better than what was provided by Euro Motorworks for a $117 oil change. I've lost my trust in this repair shop, and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

After years of trying to find the right crew to work on my German car, Euro has proven itself to be at the forefront of both customer service and knowledgeable staff. From the kind professional young woman at the front desk to the hands that worked on my car, I always felt assured that my car was right where it belonged. If you own a European car, you have a few options in terms of repair/maintenance: 1) Go to dealer. Safe, but prices will make you regret owning a European car. 2) Go to generic shop. Prices may be low but these shops simply do not see enough of the European cars to understand their idiosyncrasies. 3) Work on them yourself, educating yourself along the way via various car fanatic forums, Youtube, etc. 4) Go to a European specialty shop like Euro Motorworks. As someone who has done all four of the above, I highly recommend Euro Motorworks. They are trustworthy, don't try to ratchet up costs (e.g., "Your dipstick is broken - it's time to replace the engine"), will give you expert advice on your options, etc. They are more expensive than #2 and #3 up front but they work on far more vehicles like yours than #2 do and, as for #3, they work on vehicles like yours all day, every day, and you don't. I have been taking my Porsche to Euro for years. They provide excellent customer service and do a great job on all repairs and service. I did not provide 5 stars because they are expensive. I took my 1999 Mercedes C230 in for new brakes. Nothing was wrong with my existing brakes, it was just time for new pads and rotors. Upon completion of service, I quickly began to notice an uneven pressure while braking, accompanied by a squeaking noise when I turned right. A few weeks later, I took it back in to have them inspect their work. They told me that the squeaking noise was caused by either A) my ventilation system (which does make noise occasionally), or B) my suspension system. This casual dismissal was annoying to say the least. I know the difference between suspension noise and braking noise. I was experiencing a repeating squeak only while braking - even on smooth surfaces. After explaining this to them, they agreed to keep the car another 24 hours to inspect the brakes. They eventually told me that one of the calipers was not releasing completely, causing the rotor to warp slightly. They said that I would need to buy another set of rotors and a new caliper. My instinct told me that this was unlikely, and I refused to spend more money. I was able to diagnose the problem myself. Turns out, the parking brake system was not releasing completely, causing the right rear caliper to remain slightly engaged. I fixed it myself. The fact that an amateur was able to diagnose and fix the problem using the internet, while these ASE-certified, trained "experts" could not is absolutely disgraceful. Especially so because I told them about having intermittent problems with the parking brake releasing properly! On top of that, I requested to have ceramic brake pads installed. The receptionist tried to talk me out of them, but I insisted. Come to find out, standard pads were installed anyway. I am extremely disappointed in the service received, and will never be back. *UPDATE* The comments from the owner (see below) were also posted on Facebook. I replied within 7 minutes. I said, "Hi Terry! What in my review differs from your records? Also, please email me rather than call if possible. I would prefer to have my own written record of our correspondence going forward." As of this writing (27 hours later), I have not received a phone call or email from the business. The comment below seems like little more than an attempt at damage control for PR purposes. Politely casting aspersions on negative reviewers seems to be standard practice for this business. Everything in my review is factual. I only waited a year after service to review them because I don't like to give bad reviews. The problem started to get worse recently, prompting my DIY fix. (And $150 for an alignment when the dealer charges $130??) I went back and checked my old Euro Motorworks oil change bill. $105 from a few years ago.... My car has been returned both times freshly washed and swept out, and they even clean the windows. I have been very satisfied by the exceptional level of customer service that I have received during my appointments. The process of scheduling appointments has also been easy and convenient.
