No notice that they were closing and the photo shows they are relocating. We have emailed them 4X a no replies. We are considering taking legal action but are waiting a little bit longer. I can't imagine they are really relocating and not expecting their entire clientele to not be furious with the silent treatment.

The masseuse hit all the normal spots. But things started to slide off the rails when I began to realize no knots were being lingered over, no tight areas explored. It was like I was being massaged by a mime who didn't actually know what they were doing, but were simply trying to convincingly put their hands in normal enough places. And if that's all the massage ended up being that would've been fine. But then things got really weird. For starters, she rested the cold plastic bottle of oil against my bare skin. Like, what the hell? Then, she grated her fingers against my scalp, rubbing my hair in a way that made me feel like I was being punished by a catholic school nun. Then! She stuck her fingers in my ears! In! It was here, during round two of scraping my scalp in funny patterns, that I finally had to tell her to stop. Maybe not the worst massage I've ever gotten, but certainly one I will be forced to remember for a long time.

It's always bugged me because it defeats the purpose: I go in for a massage to work on my neck, but I tweak my neck by virtue of their set-up. Lots of much less expensive Thai massage places either have beds with a head holder or a pillow with a similar design. I really think Raven should do the same. There....bone to pick expressed! That isn't to downplay all the positive: a great place, but I do hope attn is paid to my one nit to pick.

On top of everything, they had really bad breath and two months later I still can't forget that horrible smell! The owner alleging in their response that they honored my request for therapist is clearly a lie because I definitely remember not requesting anyone specifically and thinking during the time of my massage that was a huge mistake. And no I cannot forget that horrible smell which is etched in my brain forever.

worst massage in town. no lie…read more at least for my experience. i brought my girlfriend here for a couple massage for her birthday. 90 minute couples massage. first five minutes was mild at best. we had to ask them to massage with a little bit more effort. shortly after it was pure sharp elbows, digging into our backs from the weight of their bodies, which overhang above. they use gravity and their elbows in an effort to avoid actually expanding effort or using their muscles at all. i don't know about you, but that's not a massage to me. shortly after i looked over to my side to notice that the man that was massaging, my girlfriend was sitting down on the bed lightly massaging her upper back with no more than a few fingers contact. there was no effort or work there. just sitting lounging doing the absolute minimum contact possible. this was almost the same for me however, my masseuse, also using only one hand, would pause for many seconds at a time before exerting some pressure then again another break of many seconds before pressure again. she was systematically conserving energy and then applying the minimum level of pressure from one hand only. after a couple warnings, she finally started to get that. i am not gonna leave us alone and she started massaging more correctly. then excuse the man who was pretending to massage my girlfriend and replaced him with a woman that was massaging me. then they sent one man to massage me who was lazy and barely doing anything so let him go when they sent him them yet. another one who is doing the same thing. at about 45 minutes i finally told him to leave me alone and just continue with my girlfriend. i don't know how it's possible that others aren't reporting this more often, but i cannot speak on what i do not know but what i do know is if you are sore, tired, and just looking for some muscle, relief and relaxation and you expect some discernible level of quality and effort than do not come here. these people do not care at all about giving you a good experience and i gave them multiple chances they are lazy and do not care about their customers at least not for my girlfriend and i if you doubt me at all, please read my other reviews. i'm very honest in my reviews and i take great care to be fair. and i write these to help others. it certainly doesn't provide me any benefit other than that. thank you for reading and feel free to contact me if you'd like more information

The same four minutes of music playing on repeat was honestly a little distracting/annoying. Weird fluorescent lighting in the massage room doesn't help. Overall, I really wanted to overlook all this stuff and just enjoy the massage, but it was not a relaxing experience. My masseuse seemed nice but spent most of the time on my back when I specifically asked her to focus on my legs. I realize how whiny and privileged this sounds, but it was so disappointing and felt like a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and just go to Yolo instead.

Her tone of voice came across as harsh, and when she spoke to me, it was loud enough that other guests looked over. Since everyone is undressed during these treatments, that made me feel especially uncomfortable and vulnerable. The body scrub itself was much rougher than I expected. I wasn't asked whether the water temperature was comfortable, and the pressure felt unnecessarily aggressive rather than relaxing. I left feeling more sore than refreshed, which isn't what I expect from a spa treatment. This was also the second month in a row that I was assigned to the same body scrub attendant, even though I've never had her before and had always been treated by someone else in the usual wet room. It struck me as unusual, especially since I had previously noticed her speaking very harshly to other staff members. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's taken constructively. I truly enjoy this spa overall, but I hope more attention is given to making every guest feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during their treatment.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. Dear Alex R. Let me start off by saying ALL of our reviewers are actual clients of ours that have enjoyed their experience at our salon. We DO NOT bribe our customers to write us reviews.. it is totally and completely 100% their choice. We do offer $5 off their services as a thank you to show our appreciation. ALL of our manicurists are interviewed before we actually hire them, they have atleast 5 or more years experience in their occupation so that we feel comfortable allowing them to work on our clients. Our employees always take their time whether they are doing a manicure, pedicure, waxing, eyelashes, fullsets, or etc. Apparently you had our $25 London combo which is our basic mani/pedi that still includes lotion application with about a 2 minute massage. We do offer other Spa mani/pedi combos that have sea salt scrubs, longer massages, and masks in them. As far as Eden in Burbank is concerned.. every nail salon has its own clientele, and different manicurists. Im glad you decided to try out our nail salon and it is very unfortunate that things didnt go all that great for you, if you would like to come back I personally will gladly take care of things for you and make sure you leave our salon extremely happy and satisfied with our work, just like every one of our customers do everyday. I was so annoyed with this place! My sister had an appointment and when I dropped her off, I went in just to see if they had time for 1 more person. We walked in, she asked us if we had an appointment, my sister said yes, I said no, but if there is no one available I will come back. She looked and said " no problem, 5 min wait" I didnt mind so I went sat down. Then, another lady walked in WITHOUT an appointment and she sat her down to get her nails done. I wasnt having it so I called her out on it and told her my sister is still waiting and she DID have an appointment, she stuttered and appologiezed about it. We still ended up BOTH waiting for 30 mins before we sat down. As if that wasnt enough, she promised me that someone would do my manicure and pedicure at the same time and pointed to the 2 ladys that would do it. The lady for my manicure came by, worked on my nail,.... 10, 15, 20 mins passes by and the lady that was supposed to do my pedicure is nowhere to be found!!! Then when she finally appeared, she grabbed a lady that just walked in and worked on her!! I was fuming!!! I voiced my opinion to her and stated to her that I do NOT like being lied to, even though I knew I would NEVER go back again, I had to get my frustration out!!!!! Loved this place, great service and they value your appointment time, however this last time i went i had a pedicure and the lady wasn't very nice and on top of it she cut my nail too close to the side of the skin and now it's infected. I haven't been able to walk for days!! I felt her pull the nail and yank it with the clipper. I'm not very happy at this point and probably won't be retiring because of this. I took my daughters there the same day and they had manicures the young pretty girl treated them so well! She's very sweet and did a great job. Sorry the 2 stars is because I'm literally in excruciating pain. Update! Katie the owner responded immediately and apologized for the experience and asked me to go back once I'm healed for a no charge pedicure! Great customer service!!! read more

This place has been open for about six months and its the only place I go to for mani pedi and facials(and I live in hollywood so it's a bit of a drive). I love how Vivian works, but then again, I haven't tried anyone else. Every time I go, I see customers leaving very happy so I don't really understand why all the hate reviews around here, probably the evil competition in the neighborhood. I live in San Fernando Valley and for the last 5 years, I've been driving to Glendale, because Europe Nails and Spa is the best nail salon ever. The atmosphere is great, they use only sterilized tools and all the manicurists are nice and always smiling. The girls who did my nails so far are Katie, Stacy, Jenny, Kim, Barbara, Vivian and Nicki and all of them are awesome: they take their time and pay attention of what you really want. I get a pedicure and was told I could come back in a week to see how my nail was doing so they could fix it up again after they had already done the service and now they tell me for this one nail I have to pay a whole pedicure service the lady's today could barely speak English and the people that attended me last week spoke perfect English so frustrating especially when the people attending you don't speak clearly read more

Kim is my go to gal! She's very nice, cares for you and does a very nice job. They're busy so make an appointment. I was in a hurry so i had to wait about 30 minutes so that was okay. Not too bad. They have a large selection of nail polishes. Which is SUPER! It's like a wall of OPI when you walk in. Customer service is certainly shown here. Hey, if you want to go sit in a loud, bright, small room and have pedestrians on the street staring at you while you're getting a pedicure - you should totally come here. Hilda recently acquired this business and has made major improvements to the salon! Talk about major renovation. Everything is so nice, clean, classy, and, the prices to their services are very reasonable. I love going to this place even though I live 35 miles away because they treat their customers like how they want to be treated. They are like family really. Hilda, Karine, Holly, Cindy are all professionals, and deliver great customer service. They're experts at what they do, and that is to make every customer feel relaxed, clean, princess for a day. When I feel really down, and I go to this place, I immediately feel like I am a million bucks. Not to mention they're very kind people too. I highly recommend this place.

This business is dirty and lacks comprehension for customer complaint. I was dissatisfied with a spa service and she tried blaming me for my skin type....seriously??? I wanted her to wax my underarm again and she said I was no longer welcome and refused to take responsibility but instead said my underarm wrinkles are the problem. This was never my first time getting my underarms wax so I know it's possible to get a clean wax even with my wrinkly armpit :) but this was my first and last time at this facility. As an owner you need to be kind to your customers (people in general) and as an employee you need to be kinder and take responsibility. Either way this was a disgusting first time impression.

Well, we all know that hair and nail appointments are never exact due to walk-ins so maybe her time should have been better managed (apparently she had a 1PM hair appointment and a 3PM event in the west side). Despite that, the staff was able to maintain their composure and remained the professionals that they are. Great job, ladies! Lastly, this is not a bad place to take your husband/boyfriend/homie/lover/friend-- lots of men come here! Looking forward to my next visit!

Came in for a pedicure like normal! Everyone was very friendly. I requested my regular French tip pedi. I had a very strange experience. I was never asked what shape I wanted my nails, and if I wanted them cut or just filed. I did have two nails that broke and were on the shorter side. Usually when I have shorter nails, we add some acrylic to even them out from breaking. Instead, I ended up with nails being cut even shorter. And then shorter, and shorter, and shorter...it seemed every time she didn't enjoy what she was doing with the polish, she just cut away more nail--and she was cutting with a cuticle clipper. In the end, my nails were extremely uneven and tender. None of them had the same shape, the polish was inconsistent, and the French tip extremely thick. Sadly I can't even go get them fixed somewhere else...some of my nails are sooo short now that the only solution is to let it grow out. I made them look a bit better with some filing (last photo). Unfortunately I loved coming here but won't be coming back now. Too inconsistent between really great and really subpar.
